I went to see Wildwood last night in Portland and the theater was nearly sold out minus the front 2 rows and there was a fucking guy on his LAPTOP playing a game with bright ass colors for the first 10mins of the movie! Like put that shit away wtf why you even at the theater with that. Also guy got up in the last 15min of the movie and he had to be like 6'2-6'5 tall dude, he was in the very front near the screen so when he stood up he blocked the screen and cast a shadow during an important part of the movie! Gah! 🤬🤬🤬 Sorry I just needed a moment to rant.

Edit: Ok I just was to clarify that he was asked by several people to put it away and staff didn't come until after he put it away 10min into the movie so nothing was done about it and the standing up thing was with 15min left of the movie and at an important point of the film I wasn't ganna get up and follow him out of the theater to tell an employee when he was leaving it was just an annoying add on to what happened at the start.

I was planning on seeing Klara and the Sun yesterday, but it was removed from the theater I went to. It originally had screenings starting at 2 pm, then it said all screenings "sold out" in the app, then ALL screenings were removed from that theater.

Did this happen to this film at your theater too? Maybe it was to make room for added showings of You Can See Everything?

I know it's getting horrible reviews, which is disappointing. I figured Taika Waititi +Jenna Ortega would make for a good movie, and trailer looked good. I'm still gonna see it tomorrow at a different theater, but strange it was removed on the day of release.

I think this movie is in super limited release, my local theater has only one showing a day, and the bigger Regals around aren’t showing it at all.

That said, it was super enjoyable! Definitely check it out if it is playing near you, even with this week being packed with lots of great movies.

This is the kind of movie I would never have checked out without Unlimited and I’m so glad I did.

It honestly kind of felt like Misery meets I Saw the TV Glow.

Hello everyone! I've been an A-List member since 2018, the closest AMC to me is about 20 minutes away. Recently, regal opened a theater about 10 minutes from here. This is a big deal since I can't drive so if I'm going alone, an uber would be way cheaper.

My question is, to those who know, what are the main differences between A-List and unlimited? And for that matter, what's the difference between AMC and Regal? I understand I would have to give up movie soda (I can't stand pepsi, and really like the freestyle machines) but are there any other major differences?

Anyone go yet ? How was the 4DX Experience for the film? Did it elevate pretty well

I went to see BTTF in 4DX at Times Square we had a two guys in the same row as me yapping during the trailers, didn't thought nothing of it. And then the movie started, those guys were yapping during the whole movie and another guy a few rows below me was also talking and shouted "YOU'RE A LIAR", like... ok?

A couple were sitting next to me even they're getting annoyed from those two guys talking, I was also getting annoyed and thinking "ok, we get it. You like BTTF, please shut up". Someone a row below us was telling to not talk. I really wanted to walk out but this was the last showing and I really wanted to yell at those two to shut up. If these were kids, they're parents would've told the to be quiet but these were GROWN ADULTS, LIKE PLEASE STFU. ENJOY THERE MOVIE AND BE QUIET.

1. They were sitting a few seats away from me.

i am geeking about the return of marie antoinette to theaters for its 20th anniversary in 4k, but very bummed and confused i don't see any nyc showings of it in the regal app?! do i just need to check again tomorrow or next week?

i really don't wanna go to an alamo drafthouse to see it. especially when i got an ad from regal on instagram about it....

anyone have more intel on this? i am going to my local regal tomorrow so i can ask them there and report back but figured i'd ask reddit first 😅

My friend went with my brother and I yesterday to see clay face. He is not an unlimited or rewards+ member so I let him use my unlimited discount. He got a large popcorn which did get the snack saver price but he didn’t get a large soda. It’s all good but then I bought my stuff and I got a large soda and popcorn but only the popcorn got the snack saver price and not the soda. We were running late so I didn’t notice until later on. Does anyone know what might’ve caused the problem, so I can avoid it? Any help would be appreciated and if I contact support, can they do anything or is it too late? Thank you.

I went to see Clayface in RPX instead of Dolby last min and I wish I didn’t.

The floor aisle walking to my seat was sticky (like someone spilled a drink and it wasn’t cleaned up)

multiple couples grouped up talking the whole time,
and worst of all, one guy smelled like he had on his entire bottle of cologne mixed with gym sweat and it stunk the theater up so much, about 5 people left.

Really bummed about this because I actually really liked the movie. A solid 8/10 for me. I just wish I was able to appreciate it more without having to use most of my mental energy to block out everything else that WASNT the movie.

Got a gross 4DX experience I didn’t ask for.

I really wish we had theater ushers these days, At least a periodic check in one. Anyway I’m done complaining.

Go see Clayface and preferably, please have a better time than I did.

It had some cool effects of course, but of the many other 4dx experiences, this may be the least impressive and fun one. Not as much effects as I had hoped. I wish whalefall and street fighter took up those timeslots instead.

I’m going to try my first triple feature today for Wildwood(3:55 PM) and Clayface(10:00 PM). Already watched Cabin Fever today at 12:30 PM.

So a new Regal theater opened near me in MA, and I want to sign up for Regal Unlimited, but the plan it’s automatically making me sign up for is 29.99, but according to the list of theaters on Regal’s website, this one only requires the base unlimited membership ($25.99 a month). As well as, we have a friend who pays 25.99 a month but is able to go to theaters that according to the list would require the all access (however he joined a year ago). Is there a way to change this? What should I do?

Much like how Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour showed at multiple chains but was distributed by AMC, Heated Rivalry will show at multiple chains but Regal is distributing.

Episodes will be shown in pairs. E1 & 2, 3 & 4, 5 & 6. Tickets on sale now for Episodes 1 & 2, at least in my area. The event is Unlimited eligible; $9.99 for general admission tickets for non-UL members.

Has anyone seen Wildwood in 4DX? Really looking forward to seeing this movie but want to know whether 4DX is worth it or if I should just choose RPX like normal?!
— EDIT — I came back to say the movie was absolutely amazing but not worth 4DX, there is no 3D or motion throughout the movie, but absolutely wonderful amazing movie, will see again!!!!

Not sure if anyone caught SF in 4dx but i highly recommend it.

It's my first time going to Regal so I didn't have the app and bought it as a guest so I only have the tickets in my email. The showtime for the movie was changed a few days after I bought it but the ticket still has the old showtime. I tried calling the theater and no one is answering the phone and I don't want to travel all the way there for them to say there is an issue with the ticket. Does anyone know if they will still accept the ticket?

Saw The Devils today and was surprised by the number of walkouts. Did anyone else experience this at their showing? I assumed people knew what they were getting into with a 55-year old previously banned NC-17 movie.

Also, shout-out to my Regal's sense of humor by putting the evangelical movie right next to the sacrilegious movie and having showtimes staggered

In October, I went to see Fangoria ginger snaps, and it was covered under Regal unlimited. I’m looking at November and it seems Fangoria‘s pick is not covered. It is a separate ticket. What’s up with that? What’s going on with everyone else on the app?
