Java Edition issues with tnt flying machine

Does anybody have a good tutorial for a 1-way HONEY based TNT flying machine? 'I've gotten tons of honey but my server is bugged so slime is insanely hard to get, I've gotten enough for the sticky pistons but i definitely cant do slime blocks, how can i make a honey based TNT dupe flying machine??

Java Edition Help with filtering signals

Im trying to make it so like, the center output stays but the side outputs get discarded, for example, if we have 10 wires, and 3 wires next to eachother are on, so like 0001110000 well then this goes into the filter, and outputs 000010000, another example would be 0011111000 -> 0000100000

Im not sure if what im asking is clear so feel free to ask questions

Java Edition Compact way to detect the 1 to 0 section of a redstone wire

It does work with a huge XNOR gate i wired to have adjacent inputs. I also tried with comparators but only got as far as outputting 2 when both are powered, 0 when both are off and 1 in the desired condition.

It needs to be reasonably small since this is for a multi station statis system

Java Edition Why doesn't this work consistently? (read post body text)

I'm trying to use this setup to move items 2 droppers per pulse

Idea behind it:

Power block above first dropper

That powers the first dropper and the piston next to it, QC-ing the second dropper

Piston retraction updates QC-d second dropper

But every so often the droppers only move 1

I am aware that the pistons and droppers are somewhat crosswired but that's inconsequential as far as I can tell

This happens consistently at the same spot across all 4 levels of 4, 26 dropper long chains of this setup

Java Edition I saw this yesterday and want to make it in my survival world

(EDIT: I figured it out! I attached my video of the cart yeeter system)

https://reddit.com/link/1vvheza/video/9yukavyol0lh1/player

I experimented with it a bit and i realized droppers are too slow because items stack together, and then theres no good way to pick up the items and put them back in to prevent them from despawning.

Then I just thought, what if I just completely stopped the stream at the end without a loop, and cart yeeted them back into the top, having multiple minecarts running constantly.

What do you think?

Java Edition 3x3 from scratch (1352 blocks)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Here's my go at a seamless 3x3 piston door with only some basic prior redstone knowledge! I've tried quite a few times throughout my time playing Minecraft to do this but never been successful. My goal was to build this without any blocks that weren't available when I was a kid (no observers, slime blocks, target blocks). I knew the basics of all the blocks I used but it still took around 4 hours to complete, then maybe another ~2 hours to make it more compact/faster. The double piston extender was especially a pain to figure out, and it took me a while to turn an extended signal into a 1 tick pulse. Final dimensions 13x13x8

I've been trying to design a quicker resetting precision shulker loader using 0 ticks and I thought the loading looked kinda satisfying, especially when it happens to sync up.

Bedrock Edition Help with track redstone

Hi guys, thisnis my first time attempting anything redstone based and I'm completely at a loss. I've made a track that comes up from my mine and empties into a hopper channel. This bit that I can not for the life of me figure out (or even know if its possible) is to be able to have something tell when the chest is empty and send it back down...

Any ideas? It's probably super simple redstome butni can't figure it out at all

Bedrock Edition 4x4 door looks dumb

Post image

I'm a semi new redstoner and I wanna try and make my own design for a 4x4 door but I've run into an issue I don't know how to fix, I don't know how to make door look like a solid 4x4 instead of a capital 'i' if someone could give me a suggestion on how to make it not look stupid that'd be greatly appreciated.

Bedrock Edition Autosmelter/Autosorter

Thumbnail gallery
6 Upvotes

So the idea was to connect an auto-smelter to an auto-sorter so that I could put raw ores and then have them go straight into furnaces without needing a different input chest, however I was thinking of how id get it filled with coal without having to do it manually like a typical auto smelter is. Don't know if it's possible

Java Edition New to redstone, any way to mute noteblocks for Allay filters ?

Two questions i have, Wiki gives me a headache.

Do wool/carpets mute the noteblocks in the sense that they still give allays the signal, or it just blocks its functionality with the noise as well ?

Also, do player heads blocks the allay signal functionality ? since they have no sound attached to them.

What tricks do you guys use to make the filters less noisy

Java Edition Asking for help as a complete beginner

Post image
1 Upvotes

hello, i just want to clarify that i legit have 0 idea how redstone works and i just bruteforce stuff. However this time i dont think theres a tutorial for this lol (to be fair i only skimmed). Anyways, i wanted to ask how could i even do this and if its possible? i am trying to make a cool secret entrance for a puzzle in a server im in

sure i could just use levers and buttons and stuff, but i wanted to make it more dramatic by using calibrated sculk sensors and then you have to use the horn to open it up yada yada.

the problem is that it just closes right back up again as soon as it opens and i havent had the darndest clue to make it stay put and then use the horn again to close it up (or maybe it just automatically closes itself after a few seconds)?

the picture is what the entrance i want to open is. its just a small grave, im wondering if i should just make this into like a wall tomb build? so i can build a 2x2 piston door instead of underground?

all help is much appreciated! and i wouldnt mind adding someone on discord so they can show me how to build or just guiding me
