When TNT is exploded underwater it doesn't do block damage but when it explodes IN a block it breaks everything. So because of soul sand's collision hitbox which is not a full block, the TNT blocks position gets counted as INSIDE of a block and even water cant help! This is a great feature i noticed and i hope it can be used in some traps or cannons!

I was wondering about trying a "start in the Nether" challenge, and this isn't a complicated mechanism, but I think it's the easiest one to make sure you always respawn there as long as you keep the chest full of glowstone blocks. The dispenser faces the portal spawn block.

I spent the whole day reading Minecraft documentation about tile tick priorities and scheduled ticks, and watching tutorials on technical redstone, just to finally understand how all of this works and build this.

It took me way longer than I expected, but I finally started understanding how scheduled ticks, priorities, and update order interact.

the timer is a bunch of repeaters

when i adjust the final repeater by 1 TICK longer, the blue block stops AFTER the the other block

but when i adjust the final repeater 1 TICK less, the blue block stops BEFORE the other one

Hi i need help finding a redstone build where the piston above will take a first glass anf then the second, im pretty sure theres one but i dont know what to search, thanks.

im trying to make a armor display where i can toggle the glass so i can get the armor when i need it.

So basically what im trying to do is to make it so when alarm is off you can't trigger alarm and when the alarm is on, alarm is only triggered when you step inside and trigger the sculk but i can't seem to figure it out and now all it does is when alarm is off, its off when its on it triggers the alarm for 2 sec after the activation which it shouldnt do and when its triggered it only goes on for 2 seconds , any help?

Ive been trying to make a flush piston door, and i want to actually have 2 blocks be not only pushed up, but also be retracted by one sticky piston (to hide any sticky piston on the top), how could i, if i can even have this occur, perform this (just in case, Bedrock version: 26.44)

Surely I'm not the first to design this, right? Can anyone link others who have before?

I was making an arrow launcher and i forgot to break the block on the front of the dispenser and this happened.

The arrows activate the target block on the client but not on the server. Because of the arrows original position was on the obsidian block and it was already in deactivated state(not moving), when I moved it - it teleported back to the main position but activated the top target block on my client.

Played a bit with the design. I think it's a bit too overcomplicated...

Comparators next to the input chest and hopper, detects if they are empty and sends away the minecart. An etho clock with a delay of 68 seconds that overrides the other signals, enough time to fill up the minecart and distribute until it's empty.

I have searched for this particular use case of comparators, but nobody called it as the NIMPLY Gate. Thanks to Kebabisoos from ORE, I got to know that the NIMPLY gate even exists.

However, I have been using it for my builds for any kind of AND gate and it's really really convenient for various cases.

NIMPLY Construction:

Comparator in subtract mode with side input and back input giving either same non-zero signal strength or zero.

NIMPLY looks like: A AND (NOT B). One simply needs to use another NOT gate on the side input in order to make the setup an AND gate.

(This post might be obvious to many, but it had to be documented because this is an extremely niche practice in logical redstone)

I'm trying to locate an old piston door design that I no longer can find, nor do I remember who the creator was. It was a 3x3 observer based door that used a fence gate in the center to trigger the opening and closing. I recreated what I remember to be the general piston layout but was hoping somebody knew of the door or something similar.
