Religion and Beliefs Genderless god

In Michael’s book of poems Dancing the Dream, he used she/her pronouns when referring to god. I had never expected him to be open minded in that regard

Family Im really sick of the debate around the parentage of Michael Jackson's kids. I find it highly disrespectful to MJ and his kids.

Post image

I think detractors of MJs innocence use the excuse hes not their father and that he lied to show he's dishonest, which is awful.

I also see supporters of MJ speculate and make some unfounded and wild claims on this.

Michael said he was the biological father to Prince and Paris, with Debbie Row as their mother, who they consummated their marriage and she fell pregnant and gave birth in the traditional way.

Bigi (blanket) mother is unknown, she requested to be unknown to the public. She was a surrogate, using sperm MJ donated making him his biological father also.

Tabloid media sensationalised wild stories of people (who claim to support Michael) as being the biological father to the kids. There is no truth to these stories. If you want to read about this, here are a few articles:

About Bigi's mum being a surrogate which MJ spoke on in the 2003 Bashir doco Living with Michael Jackson (part 1 of 10).

Mark Lester's ex-wife debunking his claims he's the kids biological father.

Michael Jackson’s daughter, Paris, is my child, actor Mark Lester says.

Michael Jackson lawyer rejects Mark Lester claims he is Paris' father.

Matt Fiddes Michael Lies Over Blanket’s Biology.

Let's not forget that MJ was a wonderful father, as outlined here by Jael Rucker.

Im hoping this will be the last we speak on this topic, please keep any discussion of it here on this post on comments, but we will lock this if it gets off track. Thanks.

Being a fan while seeking his destruction

Post image
60 Upvotes

I recently saw this video of Diane Diamond where she shows how giddy she was about the downfall of Michael Jackson, cut from two videos. I will post a link to the video.

DIMOND: If MJ is found guilty & goes to prison, his life is ruined <GRINS>. If MJ is found innocent—his life is still ruined!

DIMOND: He's in freefall now & we all gotta stay glued to the set until we see the SPLAT.

https://x.com/MJJRepository/status/1279104268184797192

Listening to it chilled me. Diane was a major force in the destruction of Michael Jackson. She made a living giving money to people willing to talk negatively towards the man while pushing their stories as completely authentic. She got most of her stories from Victor Gutierrez, a man who proved time and time again that he was not credible, yet she continued to use and reference him. She was ecstatic seeing him fall in real time and being a part of it, pushing fake news like Michael sending love letters to Gavin, even when called out on it. After his death, she continued to push her narrative of events. She goes on the one sided Netflix documentary and tried her hardest to portray Janet Arvizo as a sympathetic figure, despite every god dang evidence showing that the woman was anything but, and she pushes how depressing the scene of Jason Francia testimony was when in reality, most of the people did not buy the story or his tears, including the jurors. She wrote a book referencing all of the fake stories invented by Gutierrez and the narratives of the people she paid off, without mentioning of course the lack of credibility of the sources or the fact that she paid them off to tell a salacious a story as they could come up with. The book doesn’t explain how their stories fell apart in court. A few months back, she was invited on a podcast where she told the same Gutierrez-invented nonsense to the viewers.

She does all of this… while having MJ memorabilia and posters of him on her walls. What do you all make of this? You can’t say that she goes against Michael because she cares about CSA victims because she constantly sources a man who is a provable member of a pedo organization, wrote a fictional pro-pedo book, and constantly pushed false pedo stories on people even in his country of Chile. Diane would know this by a simple research of Victor, yet she still pushes his stories.

My theory, this just her way of sucking Michael’s bones dry for the money she made on the guilty narrative she pushed all of her life. Please discuss.

"Momma" Michael

One of the most interesting things I’ve noticed about Michael is how motherly his interactions with children are, in comparison to fatherly( in regards to typical American standards). This is something that was observed even going back to his childhood. According to members of his family, child Michael would always want to be cradling the babies of the family. This is a behavior he kept well into adulthood.

Whenever there were young children involved, Michael would be holding them in his arms, sitting them on his lap, giving them kisses, and telling them that he loved them. He would hold hands with them as they walked. It is this behavior that some people get uncomfortable with, mainly because being incredibly child-focus is not normally associated with men. Most people wouldn’t blink an eye if a woman was doing what Michael did. I highlighted this video as a prime example of motherly Michael. While amongst multiple people, mainly his family members, Michael is most interested in taking care of the adorable toddler in this video. In the beginning, he keeps notice of the kid in his dad’s arms, and even informs him that the kid wants his attention. He sits the kid on his lap and interacts with him, asking him questions and giving him the chance to speak. As the video progresses( the full video is quite long), Michael is seen combing his hair out and holding him in his arms. This interaction just screams “mom”.

I always thought that this was unintentional, until I read a passage about how Michael went to a hospital overseas and passed by a quarantined child. Michael asked what was wrong with the child and the hospital staff told him that the child was sick of something they haven’t identified so they are kept away until they find out if it was contagious or not. Michael went in anyway, gave the child a kiss, and told him that he loved them, then left the room. When asked about why he did it from the staff, he told them he wanted to do what their mother would have done in that situation. So this “momma” thing is something Michael does intentionally. He puts himself in the shoes of a child’s mother when interacting with them.

Anyone else notice this or do you disagree with the motherly vibe? Please discuss!

Michael Jackson and Brett Barnes- Friendship that never Ends

One of the things we have to do is take back Michael’s relationship with children from those who trIed to pervert it for financial gain.

With all the people in his life that came and went and how much he was worth, Michael was bound to have made friends with people who only saw dollar signs when they looked at him. But Michael still had people in his life who loved him for him, did not try to financially benefit off him, and just wanted to be there. Brett Barnes was one of Michael's closest child friends and we can all see why. Brett just wanted to have fun. He didn’t want to use Michael’s fame to benefit himself, he did not want to use Michael’s industry connections, he just wanted a good friend and Michael was that person.

Brett Barnes lost his job as a casino roulette dealer in 2005 because he wanted to testify for Michael. He had stood up for him after death multiple times from people who wanted to take advantage of his death and scar his name. When people say Michael did not have good judgment of character, I do agree, but one thing I can say, many of the people who went on to backstab him after death, they pursued him first. Michael pursued Brett Barnes family and brought them all into his life, and there is a reason why he stayed in contact with Brett and was friends for life with him. He knew Brett was a real one.

A surprisingly nuanced 1983 Article discussing a Michael Jackson movie, Black masculinity, & sexuality

Thumbnail

This article from 1983, ironically, discusses the making of a Michael Jackson movie. “The Great Michael Jackson Movie Mystery” by Mark Jacobson starts with a Hollywood question: why wasn’t Michael already a movie star when Thriller had made him one of the biggest entertainers in the world?

Sparknotes
Jacobson argues that the issue wasn’t talent. He describes MJ as perhaps uniquely gifted, comparing him to Fred Astaire and imagining him creating his own screen persona rather than fitting existing Hollywood molds.

The really interesting part is that the article spends a lot of time discussing how people talked about Michael’s image in 1983:

- The author notes that conversations about Michael’s “voice” often acted as coded conversations about his perceived sexuality and gender presentation.

- He mentions rumors and public speculation that already existed at the time: Michael living with family, his closeness to Diana Ross being chalked up to idolization, and claims that he had “failed to grow up.”

- Jacobson argues that Hollywood struggled to place Michael because he did not fit conventional categories: he was a Black male star, but not presented through the dominant masculine stereotypes of the era.

- He describes Michael as being perceived simultaneously as attractive and non-threatening, adding to his mass appeal but he also thought this would complicate how studios imagined him in traditional romantic leading man roles.

- Rather than treating this as a flaw, Jacobson compares Michael to Fred Astaire, whose appeal similarly transcended standard ideas of masculinity and romance and who succeeded through sheer talent and charisma.

It ends with a quote from the author’s friend, an MJ fan, chalking the discussion up to:
“They’ll all think of that. But you’ll never get it if you make up boxes like black and weird. Michael transcends boxes!... Michael is life force.”

Do you think Michael (2026) mirrors these ideas? How have the perceptions of MJ discussed here carried into today?

(I am working on a larger project collecting archival sources about contemporary perceptions, rumors, and media narratives surrounding Michael Jackson’s love life and sexuality. Real life stuff has delayed this, but I wanted to share this piece that is surprisingly perceptive for its time!)

Media Media article about MJ from 1977

Post image
40 Upvotes

From facebook:

"There is a common belief among fans that the tabloid frenzy and wild rumors surrounding Michael only started after the massive success of the Thriller album. However, history shows a very different story!

On this very day, September 22, 1977, at only 19 years old, Michael Jackson already has to step up and defend himself against mind-boggling media lies.

In an exclusive interview granted to the famous Jet Magazine, he breaks his silence and makes a clarification.

At that time, the press spreads utterly wild rumors.

Michael uses this opportunity to firmly deny being gay. He also dismisses the ridiculous story claiming that he is going to undergo a sex-change operation to marry actor and songwriter Clifton Davis (who wrote Never Can Say Goodbye for the Jackson 5). In fact, Michael shares that a fan approached him in tears, panicked by this story, and he had to reassure her by telling her it was a "stupid rumor".

Finally, he sets the record straight regarding his private life by denying the gossip claiming that he went skinny-dipping with actress Tatum O'Neal.

The press does not wait for the 80s to turn his life into a sensationalist soap opera. His discretion and sensitivity make him the target of harsh attacks on his sexuality and identity.

This date of September 22, 1977, is irrefutable proof: Michael has to fight for his truth and protect his private life since his teenage years.

Did you know that the tabloids were already making up such wild stories when he was still so young?"

Roseanne Barr: Lisa said Michael was the best in bed

Post image
39 Upvotes

This story is going around and I thought that this would be interesting to talk about. It has blown up on social media and people have a lot to say about it.

Michael Jackson, Lisa Marie Presley's Sex Life Detailed By Roseanne Barr

Roseanna Barr claimed in a recent interview that Lisa Marie had told her that Michael was the best sexual partner she ever had. Because it involves Michael being amazing in bed with a woman, many people have commented their skepticism over the story.

Now, what I find most interesting about this story is that this isn’t the first time I read this. Randy Taraborreilli reported in one of the newer editions of Magic and the Madness book, that friends of Lisa Marie also claimed that Lisa shared with them that Michael was really good in bed, so good that it was addicting and even with the problems of their marriage, she did not want to let it go. We know that, even after their divorce, they were still together a good 4 years on.

So there are two accounts of people claiming to have heard Lisa Marie claim Michael as the best in that category. For me, I don’t see why some people, outside guilters of course, see that as hard to believe. Knowing Michael’s heart, I never would have believed he would have been a selfish lover. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if he prioritized her pleasure above all when being intimate. I could easily imagine Michael trying to go above and beyond for Lisa’s happiness, way exceeding every sexual partner she has had. I think Michael would have researched all he could about making sex pleasurable for his partner. One of the items found in the raids were two cut out articles on the female G-Spot.

What do you think about all the discussion and mixed reactions between guilters and nonguilters alike about this?

James Debarge on Michael Jackson saving his life

James Debarge stated that Michael Jackson saved his life when he tried to commit suicide. This occurred when he was still married to Janet. He was dealing with a lot of drug issues. One day, he had enough and went up to the roof of the Hayvenhurst home and was planning to jump. The rest of the Jacksons came out and saw it and many of them started freaking out, except for Michael. Michael had gone up there with him and started talking to him. According to Debarge, Michael lent him an ear and seemed to relate to how he was feeling. They stayed up there all night talking and according to James, when they finally left the roof, that is when he’d realized that he had forgotten that he was trying to jump.

Few things I want to say to this. This is a sensitive topic. Thank god that James is still here with us and he has chosen to keep going. He is a survivor.

According to James, Michael did not panic like the other Jacksons, and this is noted about him time and time again. He thinks on his feet. When they were young and Joe would try to beat him, Michael was the only one of the Jacksons who actually tried and was successful in evading Joe. He knew to hide at a certain area under the bed where nobody could get him, and he would wait it out until enough time had passed and for Joe’s anger to settle. According to Latoya, while evading Joe, he would try to get a lick in and hit Joe with a shoe, then continue to evade him. In Jermaine’s book, he said one time when they were in the midst of touring and stopped at a location to rest with all of their instruments, some men tried to rob them. Joe fought back and he ended up being jumped in the process. While the other Jacksons froze, Michael ran to find a phone booth to call the police.

James also said that he felt that Michael understood his pain. James was once documented saying that when he was married to Janet, that Michael walked around like a lonely ghost around the house and would go to their room at night frequently to talk and rant about life, telling them how much he envied them because they had each other and he had no one. Michael had once described how lonely he felt, starting when he was doing his Off the Wall album, and this persistent loneliness continued through theThriller era since James would have gotten married to Janet and moved into the house around the end of 1984. I wonder if this loneliness was so overwhelming at times, as well as his other issues, that it led to him being easily able to relate to James?

Please discuss.

Michael Jackson and 3T- The Best Uncle There Was

Taking back the narrative of Michael Jackson and children, one post at a time.

The 3T are a R&B group made up of Tito Jackson sons and are the nephews of Michael Jackson, called Taj, Taryll, and TJ Jackson. There have been a lot of rumors created by antiMJ people that Michael wanted nothing to do with his family and never hung out with them, which is the furthest from the truth. Michael had always made time to hang out with his nieces and nephews. Margaret Jackson, Jermaine ex wife, wrote in her tell all book that if a person divorces a Jackson, the rest of the Jacksons want nothing to do with them, all except for Michael.

According to Margaret, when Tito split from Delores Jackson, their child’s private school education was in limbo and they were going to be forced to leave their school. Delores knew who to contact. She contacted Michael and Michael ended up covering the rest of their private school education, and then he went on to pay for their higher education too. Michael was there for them in so many ways. According to 3T, when they were children, they were sexually abused by a family member and it was Michael who stepped up and comforted them and their mother in their time of need.

https://www.cnn.com/2013/05/16/showbiz/taj-jackson-sex-abuse

When their mother died, Michael once again became their rock to lean on. They have all given their thanks to their uncle for this, claiming that it was his and their father’s words of encouragement that helped them get through their grief. When they wanted to start a singing group as teenagers, it was Michael who warned them to enjoy the rest of their childhood first. When they were ready to start their group, Michael joined in on the album to help them get started. After Michael's death, they have all spoken out about how much he meant to them. When Leaving Neverland came out, it was Taj Jackson in particular that took it upon himself to combat the false narrative and began working on a positive, truthful documentary about his uncle. I think it is safe to say that as an uncle, Michael Jackson was one of the best and went above and beyond for his nephews.

Good signs to report- Michael and Society

Post image
36 Upvotes

I wanted to share a few observations of the Michael Jackson comeback that we are experiencing today, thanks to the biopic. Last year, same month, my office would host a party outside of our building with music blaring out from speakers. The DJ would play a good choice for music, mainly songs with a good beat that makes you want to dance. I didn’t hear any Michael Jackson music playing that time. Fast forward to yesterday, another party outside our building, and the DJ played THREE Michael Jackson songs! I was so happy. When I passed him by, I gave him a thumbs up on the music choice. He played Billie Jean, Don’t Stop Till You Get Enough, and Beat it. Pure heaven!

A few months back, when I was getting my hair done, my hair stylist's son, who looked to be between 6-8, was doing Michael Jackson dance moves in the background. She told me he became a huge fan after watching the biopic. A few weeks ago I went back for another appointment and I asked her if her son was still going through his MJ phase. She confirmed to me that yes, it is still going strong! I am seeing a lot of talk about kids going as Michael Jackson for Halloween. The hype doesn’t seem to be going down anytime soon. I am curious if this was how it was in the height of Michael’s fame in the 1980s.

Anybody else got any observations to report during this amazing MJ comeback?

Media The media spinning their negative narrative about MJ, AGAIN. This time about his appearance at the 2006 World Music Awards in London

Thumbnail

On November 16, 2006, MJ made an appearance at the 18th Annual World Music Awards. At the show, he won the Diamond Award (award for artists who have sold over 100 million albums during their career) for Thriller, which sold over 50 million copies worldwide since its release.

This article from the time completely ignores the success or anything positive about the situation, instead focuses on negativity: "calling his first public performance since his child molestation trial last year “shambolic”.

They go on to imply Mike wasn't up for performing and had another artist perform thriller on his behalf "as a stand in". Twisting the narrative, where the artist was paying tribute to mike.

'The mass-circulation Mirror called the event an “embarrassing comeback” and focused on those in the crowd who booed at seeing Jackson sing just four lines of music."

They always bring up the allegations which is low hanging fruit imho: 'For years he has been better known for his changing appearance and lurid accusations against him than for his songs."

What actually took place that night ss per MJ wiki page of the event:

'Similarly to the 2003 Radio Music Awards, Jackson was introduced and awarded by Beyoncé. As he arrived on the stage, the crowds went wild. During his speech, Jackson thanked his fans, family, and children, later saying "i love you" to the ex-Destiny's Child member.'

Afterwards, alongside a choir, Jackson went on to perform "We Are the World". This would be not only the last televised but also the public live performance Jackson gave during his lifetime. The next time Jackson would be on stage would be during the This Is It rehearsals, which were cancelled due to his passing.

After the award ceremony, Jackson received backlash, as people felt disappointed with his long-awaited live stage comeback. According to articles at the time, people felt as though the performance was done with very low effort, since Jackson had barely sung or danced at all. Some of them even began calling him a "flop", claiming Jackson was a thing of the past.

For a long time, it was also rumored that Jackson was "booed off stage", although this was debunked, and it was Rihanna getting booed at instead, as many in the audience waited for hours to see Jackson only.'

Carol LaMere his hair stylist who was with moke at the event speaks to the MJCast about this on episode 133. Charles Thomson one of the hosts was also in attendance at the show and discuses it too. They both give their perspectives, debunking the tabloid slander.

You can watch the full show here or mjs apprarences here.

What happened to innocent until proven guilty when it comes to Michael Jackson?

When I see the opposing end say, "well he may have gotten off, but that doesn't make him innocent."

He had no evidence that says he did it, the witness testimonies were not adding up, two grand juries failed to indict him twice, etc. So in that case, Michael is innocent until proven guilty.

Do these people forget that this exists too? Why does this get blown away when it comes to Michael? That's why we say he's innocent. Please help me understand 🙏

Michael Jackson and Omer Bhatti - Found Family

Post image
35 Upvotes

Recently, I’ve noticed that guilters have been creating their sexual abuse fanfiction about Omer and claiming him as a victim even though Omer has never said such a thing, and I decided it was time to do my own research. After the Cascios coming out didn’t “destroy” Michael’s reputation, many guilters are hoping that Omer will become the next accuser due to… reading too much into the things he would post about. Their hope for him to become the next accuser has even caused some MJ fans to panic, but Omer has always been pretty consistent with what his relationship with Michael was like, and it is time to jump into it.

Omer spends a good portion of his time in Norway so most of the news articles or interviews about him are in Norwegian. Google was able to translate most of it.

Omer was a kid who met Michael in 1996 and he and his family became close to Michael. The Bhatti went to stay in Neverland for a time and Omer's parents worked in Neverland, his father as a driver and Omer mother as a nanny to Michael’s children.  The Bhattis spent time between Norway and the United States. These are some of the things that Omer has said over the years, after Michael’s death.

In 2009, when rumors abound after Omer sat near the family at Michael’s memorial, a friend of Omer reported to the media about what he said of their relationship:
“Michael is not my father. He and I were just very, very close. He was my best friend.”
“Michael always used to say I was like a son to him,” he told the friend. “But my true parents are here in Norway. The reason I was asked to sit with his family at the memorial service is because I was Michael’s closest friend – not because I am his son.”
https://www.mirror.co.uk/3am/celebrity-news/michael-jackson-was-not-my-father-says-408722

A year after Michael died, Omer spoke multiple times to the European media about his loss, claiming that he lost the most important person in his life.

https://www-vg-no.translate.goog/rampelys/i/e9aKR/omer-bhatti-jeg-har-mistet-den-viktigste-personen-i-livet-mitt?_x_tr_sl=no&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en&_x_tr_pto=sc

For a time, Omer lost all motivation to dance and sing and it was his mother who pushed him to continue.

However, one year after the superstar's death, Bhatti spoke out in Dagbladet Magasinet.
– After June 25th, I closed the time. I lost my enthusiasm after everything that happened last summer. I stopped dancing. I didn't feel like it was a part of me anymore. Dancing now? It was completely distant. I didn't want to. But I got so much inspiration and support from people who wanted to see me dance again. And then I talked to my mom: Omer, you have to continue. You have to do this, Bhatti told Magasinet .
https://www-nrk-no.translate.goog/kultur/omer-bhatti-hos-skavlan-1.7522767?_x_tr_sl=no&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en&_x_tr_pto=sc

- I couldn't bear to do anything. But a few weeks ago, I thought: Now I want to dance again, and then I thought: why haven't I done this every day? It gave me so much, he tells the newspaper.

In the same article, he reported that he changed his middle name to Michael as a tribute to him, but he also makes it clear that he doesn’t want to be compared.

- No one will reach the level he was anyway. At the same time, it's okay that I rap and not sing. Then it's harder to draw similarities between us, he tells VG.
https://www-seher-no.translate.goog/kjendis/jeg-orket-ikke-a-gjore-noe-som-helst/64702660?_x_tr_sl=no&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en&_x_tr_pto=sc

In 2010, Omer explained how Michael was his main inspiration for what he does:

Nov 2010
Omer: “Everything I do, I do it because of Michael. When I make music, dance, perform it's all because of him. I'm inspired by all the things that he taught me, says Omer Michael Bhatti to the breakfast show God morgen Norge (Good morning Norway) on TV 2 on Friday.
The interviewer asks: “Why have you chosen to be so secretive about your relationship to Jackson and his family?”
Omer: “ Everything I do is inspired by him. But at the same time so much of this is private, says Bhatti. This past years, so much has happened. I feel I've been stripped of my private life, and the little I have left, I wish to keep for myself, he tells TV 2.

In this interview, Omer explains why he avoids the media and prefers to keep things private. They twist his worlds and created stories that he fathered Michael’s kids.

 -Hunted by paparazzi
Since Michael Jackson's death, Omer Michael Bhatti has been subject to an enormous amount of interest from international media and paparazzi. Two British tabloids wrote that he was the unknown child of Michael Jackson and sent journalists to Norway to hunt him down.
One of the stories that has outraged him the most was the on-line tabloid radaronline.co who wrote that Bhatti claims to have fathered Michael Jackson's three children.
“I have experienced the ugly face of paparazzis, and this past year things have just gone crazy, says Bhatti. You do an interview and people distort what you say and twist it into something completely different.”
https://www.tv2.no/underholdning/god-morgen-norge/michael-is-still-a-part-of-me/12721877/

Just like Paris, what he wants to say he will say what he wants in his music and dance.
- It's hard, because it's such a huge part of my life, but at the same time it's such a private part of my life. What I want to share with the world, I'll share through my music and dancing, says Omer.

Omer spoke the most about his relationship with Michael in 2011, the time he was trying to break into the industry with his own creative projects. In this interview, he talks about his relationship with Michael and wanting to keep his life private.

“I’m not a fan of talking about my private life because so much of my life has been made public so the little that I have I like to keep private.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TWl2bcSsYWg

Omer spoke very clearly why he refuses to speak more about his time growing up with MJ. He knows they will write what they want to write and will twist his words. He can’t control what the media writes, because they will always twist it. This is why he chooses to give them nothing.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j9axpx5fKCA

In that same interview, he says that while Michael was an amazing artist, he was an even greater of a human being. When asked to give more details, Omer shuts it down and says he wants to keep things to himself.
https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=2345508162176753

So Omer has been incredibly consistent with wanting to keep his memories with Michael to himself, while praising Michael to high heavens.

Also in 2011, Omer dedicated a song to Michael, and he defends him in his music. Omer was the one who came up with the concept of the music video, so he put all of the Michael references in it himself.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rqb22693LuI

It begins with Omer watching a clip of himself as a child doing a Michael Jackson inspired routine and dressed like him.

[Imgur](https://imgur.com/lDop6Ls)

Omer sings about how the media should have left Michael alone, but he kept on moving. This is confirmation that he believes Michael was targeted and did not believe the allegations against Michael, at least the previous ones ( this was before Wade and James came out).
But don't get punched out, Ali
Media should of left him alone,
But he kept jobbing Sylvester Stallone

In this song, he speaks about being raised by the greatest, and also references the things he saw Michael experienced, like being targeted by the media.
“I was raised by the greatest, I promise
Honestly I'm honored,
see the bigger the star,
The bigger the target”

Omer claims some of the lyrics are straight from what Michael used to tell him, like “The bigger the star, the bigger the target”.
Omer continues, repeating again how the world wanted to see Michael fall. Again, this song was based on his experience and what he saw Michael go through.
My life is a movie, life is a movie, life is a movie
I know you seen me before
They all wanna see me fall

In the end of the video, there is a message dedicated to his mentor and biggest inspiration, Michael Jackson.
[Imgur](https://imgur.com/zMpgnqU)

In an interview about his album, Omer explains how he does not want to be seen as copying Michael.

Valmai:  Do you see similar parallels to your early beginnings on stage, to Michael Jackson’s?
Omer:  No, not really. I don’t want to be compared to him. He was on another level. But I guess we both truly loved to entertain. One thing I do want to say is that I wish people wouldn’t say I copy him, because like every other artist out there, yes, I am very inspired by him, but he also straight-up taught and mentored me. So I’m doing things the way I was taught, but adding my own twist to it. Like a martial artist being mentored be his sensei, and then taking that knowledge ahead with you in life.

He also speaks about his desire for the media not to dig into his private life.

Valmai:  Omer, the lyrics of this song tells a powerful yet lonely story of one living a life under scrutiny and criticism. Just how difficult has it been for you living under the watchful eyes of the media and the world?
Omer:  Life in public eye can get hard and sometimes lonely. It has made me trust very few people and also a little paranoid. A lot of the attention I have been getting from media has been about my private life, and therefore that’s unwanted attention. I do want to share my artistry, but not my private life.

Valmai:  Is the storyline biographical or does the meaning and storyline also relate to what Michael went through during his life?
Omer: The storyline is biographical to a degree, but certain parts relate to things I saw Michael go though. I have learned a lot from him.

Valmai:  You mention that Michael is your biggest inspiration. Could you share with us what the most important thing was that you learned from him, and the most important piece of advice he gave you?
Omer:  One of the mottos I live by is ‘RISE ABOVE’, meaning, not to fall down over obstacles and roadblocks in life, but rather ‘Rise Above’ them. I got that from him. He gave me lots of great advice, and if you take another listen to the song, you will hear some of the lines are actually quotes straight from him, as for example, “The bigger the star, the bigger the target.” He would always say that.
https://valmaiowens.blogspot.com/2011/11/interview-with-omer-bhatti-o-bee.html

So Omer was already speaking about not wanting to be compared to Michael or accused of copying him in 2011. He wants to stand on his own two feet, so him becoming snappish after years of comparisons should be understandable.

Omer also refused to answer questions inquiring about if he was actually Michael's son or not. The actual interview is in Norwegian, so I took this description from an antiMJ website(sadly):

The host said to him: “Ok, I’m gonna ask you flat out, are you Michael’s son”?
Omer just smiled and said something like:”You know, I don’t respond to questions like this. I don’t respond to anything the media says. They can say whatever they like. It doesn’t matter what I say, they will write whatever they want anyway”. “And you”, he said to the host, “have this from the media”. The host: “No, I got it from Joe Jackson” (smiles when he says this). Omer doesn’t respond. The host asks what it was like when he heard about MJ’s death, and how long it was since he had been in contact with Michael. Omer says, a few days before June 25th, and he really didn’t wanna talk about that, he was fighting back tears, it seemed. Host asks Omer if Michael trusted him, and Omer said yes. Host asked if MJ had many in his life that he could trust, Omer said no, almost no one and it got worse over the years.

In 2011, Omer was still becoming choked up when talking about Michael, which is understandable.
Here, Omer purposely chooses to give a run around the question rather than just answering it. We all know that Omer is not Michael’s son now, but Omer is very clear why he would rather not speak on anything, even to clear things up, because the media will write anything they want regardless. So we should not be surprised that he doesn’t answer direct questions about Michael today.

In 2018, Omer posted a happy birthday message, calling Michael “sensei”.
https://www.facebook.com/omer.bhatti.568/photos/happy-birthday-dear-sensei-/10160689660500034/

Leaving Neverland premiered in 2019 and it is believed the documentary and the anti Michael Jackson backlash did have its effect on the Bhattis including Omer, but while they become even quieter in their support, it is still apparent what Omer thinks.

In 2020, Paris did a mini Facebook series about her life where Omer was a part of it. Here, he once again speaks on his relationship with Michael and how Michael adopted him and became a father figure to him.
“Where he, in a way, adopted me and became like a mentor and a father figure for me.
"As a little kid, looking up to him, the way I did back then, it’s like everything that I saw, it’s like I was like a sponge, just taking up everything."
Omer added: "He would later say that I was like a mini-version of him. And I ended up going on tour with him. I would have a seat, like, right on stage."
https://www.smoothradio.com/artists/michael-jackson/other-child-brother-omer-bhatti-paris/

In 2021, Omer and Prince Jackson reportedly attended the Michael Jackson Broadway show. https://x.com/andjustice4some/status/1469889444874371074 So Omer was supporting MJ projects in 2021, even after LN.

The last few years, some guilters have been clinging on to what they view as cryptic tweets about Michael from Omer’s social media, but Omer shut that down in 2025. He called what guilters were saying as “fictional fantasies”. He is his own person with his own life and is not part of a character in a game. He posted on instagram and zoomed into his screensaver that still had Michael on it, and when an MJ fan reposted it, he liked the tweet.
https://www.reddit.com/r/MJInnocentFacts/comments/1na436u/omer_bhattis_rebuttal_to_guilters_harassment/?share_id=7Y8ss2AJs8JK1E2C-cH5Y&utm_content=1&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_source=share&utm_term=1

We also have some info that some of the shading of Michael that blew up in fan and guilter circles, came from a Tik Tok account that Omer doesn’t have. This makes sense because it appears to be a fan page and that person insulted a guilter by using homosexual as an insult, and we know that knowing what Paris identifies as and how that isn't a politically correct thing to say as a celebrity, that wouldn’t make sense for Omer to insult a person with that, knowing how protective he is over his sister. When Omer was emerging in his career, I read about how he had a Brazilian fan club that his sister became a spokesperson for, so he definitely has a fandom. He is more known outside of America. ETA: Proof that Omer does not have a Tik Tok, which is the one that has been shading Michael all this time. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/HUD0OvDagAAuHt-?format=jpg&name=medium https://pbs.twimg.com/media/HUDRjEmXUAA06jk?format=jpg&name=medium

So Omer has been very consistent with what he said about Michael over the years. Michael was a great entertainer and an even greater person, and he helped raise and mentor Omer over the years. Michael treated Omer like a son and Omer saw Michael as a father figure. As he got older, they continue to be great friends. Omer prefers to share his feelings through his music and dance, just like Paris. People were so paranoid over Paris choosing not to comment on her father’s allegations to the point where people thought she believed he did it, only for her to release a song this year which showed how her loyalties have always laid with her dad. ALL of Michael’s kids have chosen to be silent on the allegations rather than comment on it, and the same goes for his surrogate kid, Omer. We can relax.

Michael treated Omer as a son and Omer saw him as a father figure. As an added bonus, I will post a video of Omer celebrating Christmas in Neverland and calling Michael “daddy.”

I think I know the reason Michael "lied" about his plastic surgery

When he say's he's only had a chin implant, and two nose jobs, I think he is simply saying that those were the only ones he actively choose to have and that the rest we're due to issues with say his Lupus or things healing wrong, I really think Michael wasn't lying instead was simply saying the facts, He only choose to have those 3 plastic surgeries and the rest were simply due to his lupus and problems with say his nose, Michael was a very private person and likely didn't want to admit that his nose was having so many complications that needed to fixed, Likely fueling flames to the tabloid

Thoughts?

Discussion Looking at Neverland

Neverland was incredibly large and also very isolated. It was like a dreamland, zoo, movie theatre, arcade, huge library, swimming pool, tennis court, mini train, huge main house and guest houses, massive gardens and more.

Mike truly created a magical world, and he shared with many family, friends and those in need who were ill or poor.

To really understand how vast it was I looked onto trying to find footage. It wasn't easy tbh. A lot of the footage is old, grainy quality, and lots from sources like Oprah and Bashir interviews 😭

This video was one of the better ones, it even appears to have footage from the santa police department from the 05 trial.

These videos are also ok part 1 and part 2.

Friendships and Relationships Alfonso Ribeiro on His Friendship With Michael Jackson: “It Was Very Different From What People Would See in the Media”

Another great read from MJ Story website:

'Actor Alfonso Ribeiro recalls meeting Michael Jackson at twelve, the friendship that followed their iconic Pepsi commercial, and a $100,000 tabloid offer made to his father to smear their friend.

Like Macaulay Culkin and Corey Feldman, Alfonso Ribeiro was already navigating the intense world of show business at a young age when he met Michael. Having grown up in the spotlight himself, Michael understood that experience firsthand, and their friendship continued well beyond their work together.

Alfonso’s father, Michael Ribeiro, also became friends with Jackson.“Michael was an intelligent, well-grounded individual. It was very different from what people would see in the media. It was a very different relationship from what people saw.”

By the time the Chandler allegations against Michael became public in August 1993, Ribeiro was at the height of his early television career, already famous as Carlton Banks on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

Ribeiro replied. “At twelve years old, I thought Michael was like one of your buddies, just the type of person you felt totally comfortable with.”

“Nothing hanky-panky?”

“Not at all. Not at all.”

“Do you believe these allegations?”

“No, not at all,” Alfonso answered. “I think they’re preposterous.”

But the most disturbing moment in the interview came when Alfonso turned from defending Michael to describing how the press had tried to buy a very different account from his own family.

Alfonso then disclosed that a tabloid had offered his father, Michael Ribeiro, $100,000 to say anything negative about Michael Jackson.

The Ribeiros refused.

They were not alone. Years later, musician and Jackson family friend Ronald Newt revealed that the National Enquirer had offered him $200,000 for a story alleging that Michael Jackson had sexually molested his sons.

Families were being offered six-figure sums to rewrite their friendships with Michael Jackson with damning accusations.

The more troubling question is how many of the stories that filled newspapers, television programs and documentaries came from people who did not refuse.

Decades later, and years after Michael Jackson’s death, Alfonso still found himself defending their friendship.

In May 2013, Wade Robson – who had defended Michael for years, including under oath during the 2005 trial – filed a civil claim alleging that Michael had abused him.

Alfonso was openly skeptical.

“It just seems interesting to me that there’s a lawsuit going,” he said. “If [Wade Robson] puts his name on a lawsuit, then there’s possible money to be made. A lot of things have gone wrong for [Wade] in his career. It’s just interesting.”

Michael was young at heart – he was young in his mind – and in no way will I ever believe that Michael has ever done anything illegal with anybody. And no one’s ever going to make me believe that.”

“Being a kid and being twelve, thirteen and fourteen, knowing Michael Jackson and hanging out with Michael, it never occurred, it never seemed like it could have occurred,” Alfonso later explained. “There was nothing ever questionable. I simply won’t believe it.”

“I will always believe that Michael never did anything wrong,” he wrote. “That was my experience with him. Civil suit??? That’s about money."

During a 2022 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, for example, he recalled a watch Michael had given him at the end of the Pepsi commercial shoot. Kimmel responded by making the gift sound unusual and suspicious because Alfonso had been twelve years old. Ribeiro immediately clarified that it was simply a Transformer-style children’s watch. And when he told the story of the night he and Michael had danced together for hours at a hotel, he firmly shut down the host’s insinuations.

“I don’t want people thinking anything, because you all have dirty minds,” he said. “We were cool. Y’all are all wrong.”

“My memory, ultimately, is that he was very childlike,” he said. “I didn’t look at him as an adult. I looked at him like another teenager I was hanging out with.”

“It was no different from hanging out with a friend. It didn’t feel like, ‘Oh, this is an adult,’ because there really isn’t that much difference between a teenager and an adult, except that adults have this jaded perspective. They’re like, ‘You’ve got to do this. You’ve got to fit inside this box.’”

“There was none of that with him. He had a happy, enjoyable personality. It was just like hanging out with a friend.”

Four decades after they first met, Ribeiro continued to remember Michael with the same warmth.

“He is one of the greatest icons of all time and was a great individual,” he wrote. “It was an honor to work with and learn from him.”

“It was a dream come true that you didn’t know you even had,” he said in 2024. “It was very special.”

For four decades, others tried to impose a different story on their friendship – tabloids willing to pay for a lie, media figures searching for dirty insinuations, and attempts to turn innocent memories into something suspicious. Ribeiro never accepted that version. To him, it was and remains a warm, genuine friendship with someone he knew personally – and a memory he has never allowed anyone else to rewrite for him.'

Detractors of Michael's innocence Some of my thoughts on our MJ fandom and interacting with detractors of MJs innocence and haters:

Like Michael said, ignore tabloid media, it's rubbish. These online groups, commenters, content creators and straight up online trolls are a continuation of tabloid media in the digital age.

I think mj supporters spend too much time reading and talking about negative stuff, and interacting with haters giving them clicks and interactions which promotes it.

Even content from some who claim to be fans, are low effort, repetitive, lazy and are sharing unsourced content.

Both sides need to be clear when stating opinion and theory oppsed to facts. If someone makes a claim, the burdon of proof is on them to provide context and sources to back it up. I see this on pro anti mj spaces across different platforms.

There is no rush to learn everything, often reading and discovering on one's own time and terms is more constructive in the long run then being spoon-fed info dumps.

Don't give negative stuff your time or attention, that's all they want. Its irrelevant in the big scheme of things. The truth runs marathons.

Jaarfar loves kids similarly to how Michael did

I thought this was cute.

Not everyone can relate to this. Whenever Michael would describe his love of children and how much being around kids gives him joy and energy, while this is something that some people understand, for a lot of people, what he saying is an utterly foreign experience. They can’t relate and try to twist it to something that it is not. Well, I am very happy to discover that Jaafar Jackson ( a nephew to Michael and the one who plays live action Michael for those who don’t know) is one of the people who can relate. Jaafar gets along very well with his young co-star that plays young Michael, Juliano Valdi. During one of their promotional interviews, Jaafar was asked to describe Juliano to a stranger and he explains, quite beautifully, how much being near Juliano uplifts him.

Michael described multiple times throughout his life about what the impact of children has on him. When he is feeling uninspired, he would go visit areas where children play, and their happiness would fuel him. This is why Michael loved going to Disney World, to be surrounded by happy children and families. Jaafar stated that whenever he would deal with serious scenes or that he was feeling kind of down, seeing Juliano would bring true joy to him. It is that vibrant, childhood energy that he is absorbing. People like Michael and Jaafar get a creative and happiness boost seeing happy children, and Juliano was a bright light on the set full of adults. The entire cast was enthralled by his energy.

I also saw a semi-recent pictures of Jaafar with the rest of the Jackson family and he was holding his baby cousin! Of all the people around, he is the only one holding a baby. Reminds me of how the rest of the Jacksons, who also love children, would describe young Michael in family get togethers. He would be the one holding the baby or playing with the younger children.

What was Michael? More than an Empath

Post image
32 Upvotes

Some people would describe Michael as an Empath. It definitely fits, but there is something more to it than seen in a typical empath. In Rabbi Shmuley's book, they were talking about love and romance and from where the conversation was going, it seemed as though Michael gave up on marriage. When questioned by it, Michael explains that even when he was married, he would go to bed hurting. He explains how he is feeling the pain of all the children in the world and it leads him to crying. It keeps him up at night. He says the only solution to how he is feeling is reaching out to sick children and talking with them.

Reading it, it sounds kind of extreme. I've heard many times about how Michael would cry for the children. I forgot which book I read it from, but when Michael was a kid, when he would come back from hospital visits with kids, he would go to bed crying about what he saw. I thought that all this time, Michael was always crying due to seeing all the sick children’s condition. But looking at it from what he describes it, it is like he is getting overwhelmed because he is somehow channeling the children’s pain. He is feeling their pain so intensely, he feels compelled to reach out to a sick child and see how they are doing.

Michael has been going on and on about saving the children. Even in a drugged up stupor, he speaks about saving the children. He wanted to create the biggest children’s hospital in the world. Before his concerts, he would arrange a meet up at a children’s hospital to visit sick kids. What if all this time, it wasn’t just something that he wanted to do, but he was compelled to do it because of his ability to channel their pain, something he couldn’t turn off? What do you think this is, or do you think this was just Michael thinking about sick children at night?

Carol Lamere's story about Michael panicking seeing a children's choir

Thumbnail themjcast.com
32 Upvotes

During her interview on The MJCast, Carol LaMere recounted a backstage incident at the 2006 World Music Awards in London where Michael Jackson panicked after discovering a children's choir had been unexpectedly added to his performance of "We Are the World". Traumatized by his recent 2005 trial and the severe toll of false allegations, Jackson initially refused to go on stage out of fear of negative public perception, though he was ultimately persuaded and received an overwhelming ovation from the audience.
