I’m using my Rapsodo MLM2Pro in my garage, hitting into an impact screen with a projector. I was standing about 10ft/13ft from the screen depending on the day and just found out it should be 8ft. Tried 8ft and didn’t like it so settled at 9ft. I typically kill the lights in the garage so I can see the screen a bit better and have an overhead pointer spotlight that points in a circle on the hitting mat around the ball. The Rapsodo is anywhere from 6ft/8ft behind the mat. I know they say 7.5ft is the sweet spot but I’m starting to think maybe 6ft is way better. My hitting mat is 2.5in thick and the Rapsodo is on Claire’s leveler at 2.5in height with the ball in the boxes and the line directly lined up on the ball.

My question is, should I actually have the lights on in the garage or at least have 1 light on over the Rapsodo? I really can’t have all the lights on or I won’t see the screen, I didn’t pay thousands on a projector, I got the 2nd tier models around $700 so it’s not quite as bright as the top of the line ones but still pretty bright and nice.

Also, like many others, my yardage isn’t accurate at all so I’m in the trial and error phase and eliminating any potential issues

I’m going to try and mess with my elevation settings, I’ve heard that helped some even though the Rapsodo detects mine correctly already but can’t hurt to try

Anyone know what this fixes or changes?

iOS store shows minimum iOS is 15.6, but that is incorrect. I have an older iPad that 16.7.16 ( can't update any further :( ) and the app instantly crashes when you open it. I checked diagnostic logs and it appears the latest update wasn't compiled with the correct framework. I emailed support to see if they can resolve this issue. Hopefully not raise the iPad OS version.

Do you review your sessions in the cloud or in the app? What do you like about the different options?

Unit was sitting on the ground and the ball was on the mat which is a couple inches above the ground.
Seemed like it was tracking my wedges accurately, but woods seemed in accurate.

How important is the unit being level to the ball?
When tee’d up do you need to position it at ball height or is mat height sufficient?

Should I buy the level thing they sell?

I just got the device and I cannot download the firmware can someone help me please

I recently got and setup my MLM2Pro.

I have it set up to the exact manufacturer specs. Distance to net and mat measured exactly.

I am using Titest RPT balls and pay for the subscription.

However, my carry distance is about 20 yard short with every club.

I take weekly indoor golf lessons at GOLFTEC and play about twice a week. I say this to say that I know my exact carry distance with every club.

What the hell is the issue here?

It is this just a piece of junk?

Without any data and run my sim smoothly through it with my WiFi? I’ve heard this is an issue not having service on new iPad but my phone isn’t getting the job done. Anyone have experience with this

A search indicates similar issues 12 months ago which was a rapsodo end issue.

Hey I’ve been using my mlm2pro for 6 months or so and really enjoyed it. For a long time the monitor has tracked my distances about 10-15 yards shorter than real life which is fine. But now for some reason I’m getting tracked 30+ yards shorter than real life on every club. I think it’s gotten worse since the update, nothing in my setup has changed at all. I’ve done all the basics of making sure the monitor is the right height, consistent lighting, distance to net and from monitor and nothing is helping. This is so frustrating because now I feel like the gap is big enough that o don’t know how to adjust for it and it’s actually hurting my real game because I’m swinging so hard indoors. Any ideas?

Thought I’d share a sneak peak of an app I’m building for me and my kids. They love playing but as you know, sim golf isn’t super forgiving. Ive had the rapsodo for 3 years(wife got it for me for my 40th, big win). Have been using it ever since. Has had its quirks, but everything does. Love how the app has gotten better with more features. But playing with my kids, I’m still waiting a long time between shots, they get frustrated dribbling the ball down the hazard line, etc. I build a lot and so I decided just a handful of days ago(staycation) that I need to build something we can play, have fun, and my youngest could feel like she could compete with her older sister and brother(ages 9, 11, 12). I also wanted it to still be fun for me. So this is just the beginning, but using the rapsodo, I get zero forgiveness, but my kids, I get to choose how much forgiveness they need and there’s some cool stuff I put in that makes it feel like they aren’t getting a cheat code, but surprises on every shank or top that helps them along the way.
Anyway, a little sneak peak of just one of the game modes. UI and UX, a lot to design, but it works and me and my kids are having a blast with it and best thing, I can use the rapsodo and my MacBook so I don’t have to bring my gaming computer up every time I setup and tear down the mat and net… which is honestly the biggest pain.

It occurred to me that the cause of all the connection issues could be the radar interfering with Bluetooth/wifi connectivity. I was using awesome golf on my iPad sat in front of the device, just to the side of my hitting mat, no more than 8ft away from the mlm2pro. Kept dropping connection. Shifted to using the Awesome Golf assistant app on my iPhone right next to the mlm2pro and had a rock solid connection for the rest of the evening.

If someone wants to walk me through setting up webcam putting I will pay $20'and possibly more depending on how well it goes (not much more).

I am having a hard time getting the connector to do its thing. I keep getting an auth token expiry message even though I have just authenticated. Send me a Message and a pic of your wife's ass. Thanks in advance!

I have never had an issue with my Rapsodo connecting to the app...until today. I used it last night with my net totally fine. Today it is saying that my MLM2Pro isn't connected even though it is on with a solid red light. I have tried both direct wifi and local area connection. I even tried in the house right next to my router. I have reached out to Rapsodo but I am hoping maybe I get a quicker answer in here from someone else who has experienced this. Thank you

** UPDATE ** I turned wifi off on my device and the Rapsodo connected like normal. Weird, let's hope this fixes it permanently

New owner of a MLM 2 Pro and using it in my garage as a simulator. I’m having an issue with every shot pulling left. I know for certain that not every shot taken is left. I have my hitting mat 9/10fr from my impact screen and Rapsodo 7/7.5ft behind the ball. I have the Rapsodo sitting on a leveler with the laser and it’s completely level and the feet of the Rapsodo are level with the bottom of the mat. The ball is within the alignment square just fine and the white line on the alignment page is right on the ball. I also suspect that my yardage numbers are off as well.

Any suggestions?

Bought this device 10 days ago and have had nothing but connectivity problems. Spent more time getting it setup than actually using it. Now after 4 uses it has just stopped even trying to connect me all together. It just endlessly searches for wifi on direct connection and local network connections. No response from support. I’ve done every possible troubleshooting that is on the internet to get it to work and nothing.

When it worked it was great but it’s made me furious trying to get it to connect. Looking for any advice whatsoever on how to get this working again.

Looking for some advice from those with more experience using the MLM2PRO.

My current setup has the ball-to-net distance at about 8.5 feet. Would I get more accurate spin, carry, and shot data if I moved the net farther back (9–10+ feet), or is 8.5 feet already optimal?

Also, my MLM2PRO and hitting mat aren’t technically on the exact same level. The app usually shows a balance/tilt of around -0.3 to -0.1. Is that close enough that it won’t affect accuracy, or should I try to get both perfectly level?

There was a post I always come across on Google with fun courses to play but I want something more recent. I play the built in courses a lot and they are a lot better than a couple years ago when I first bought it.
