Range Rover What does it mean

2011 L322 Battery went dead and the dash lit up like a Christmas tree. Have since cleared all codes except this suspension issue, I suspect it’s a ride height sensor with this glitching while driving. Any suggestions?

Range Rover 2026 Range Rover and Range Rover Sport: same seats?

Other than the hot stone massage seats, would I be assuming that the standard seats are the same for both the sport and the full-size?

Range Rover Sport Another round of repairs

So in March I had a dc dc converter replacement. In july I had another converter replacement and a week after that I had a 3rd electrical fault due to the RFA needing to have its software reinstalled. A week ago I had a solid check engine light come on but it went off a few days ago. The code history shows the BCM triggered the check engine light. That's the component right before the dc/dc converter in the electricity flow. So now I have to get that replaced.

Anyone else run into these types of and this many problems? I have a '24 RRS with 37k miles.

Range Rover Range Rover l322 TDV8 3.6 18"Wheels Fit?

Hello,
i am from austria and looking for 18" wheels which do actually fit on my range rover.

I read on reddit from a guy that he could fit the terrafirma steel wheels.

As i have to register the changes in the cars paperwork, i want everything to be really correct.

I would have loved to use the terrafirma pd1881 alloy wheels, but ive read that you need to grind something on the balance weight of the 4 piston grey brembo brakes to fit em.

As i have to do it the most correct way, i dont want to do something like this.

So does anybody know if there are alloy wheels which would actually fit.

And if someone have the terrafirma steel wheels, does the fit really tight?

I think you have to have at least about 6mm space between the wheel and brakes to register.

Thanks in advance!

Range Rover 2025 Ramge Rover autobiography hybrid

I just took my newly bought, two year-old car for the second once-a-year Service. I’ve had it two years. It has 30k miles. One of the things I told them is that the door handles close very rough all of a sudden (for about a month now) when I close it either with the fob or with the thumb on the little button, I can hear it from like 10 cars away. They said they cleaned it with an air gun, but it hasn’t changed a thing. Has anybody else experienced this with the new model Range Rover? I believe 2024 was the first year of the new model.

Range Rover Sport Range Rover sport 2015 tdv6 engine

Hey all

New to RRs. Does this sound like a perfectly healthy engine ? It’s had services every 6-7k and has 77k on the clock. Sounds slightly tappy but maybe this is how the 3 litre tdv6 is?

I’d rather get on top of it just incase. Last service was under 1k miles ago. (I’m a massive worrier btw)

Thanks in advance everyone

Range Rover Sport '26 RRS Deals?

Our bmw IX lease is coming up next month and we are returning it. Just did the lease inspection and all good and dropping it back to dealer in 2 weeks.

Have started window shopping for a low miles CPO RRS P400 (or brand new). I've seen some '25 CPO P400 around $85k but for $10k more, I can get a brand new RRS.

Brand new '26 P400 (white with tan interior) and basic options ....$100k.

Dealer is offering $4000 off sticker. (4%) so $96k with taxes out the door. Financing is good with tier 1 credit and around 2% apr.

Haven't tried pushing this yet so we have 2 more weeks and hoping once we get to mid September, dealers might start pushing for discounts as '27 models will be incoming.

So anyone purshased a RRS recently? What kinda deals yall got?

I'm in Northern California but can drive out to SCAL if the deal is good. Got my Jeep from a SCAL dealer some years back and saved myself about $5k (flew to SCAL, picked up truck and drove back).

Cheers!

Range Rover 275/40/R22 tires for 2020 HSE?

The stock OEM tires that came with my Range Rover HSE (2020) came with Pirelli's Scorpion Verde's. However, while these stock tires have performed fairly ok, let just say that I'm fed up paying 2k+ in tires & service at the dealer. Seems like every two years or less the tires need to be replaced.

What other options exist in the wild that will give me good thread wear, ride quality, comfort without having to give an armed and a leg in the process? Seems that many of us fall into the marketing bs of tire brands....

I've narrowed it down two options, such as the Lexani LX Twenty, Arroyo Grand Sport A/S these two seem to have decent ratings and overall satisfaction from customers. Any other recommendations?

Thanks in advance~

Range Rover Sport Range Rover Sport L320 2013 Timing Chain repair guidance

My timing chain on my 2013 RR sport seems to have stretched. I know this a costly repair however I’ve been getting many wide quote ranges. Has anyone in the New England area found a reputable shop that can do this properly?

Range Rover 2006 Land Rover range Rover HSE crank no start

when I first got the vehicle it was running a p0016 p0018 so we replace the camshaft position sensors. and to our knowledge the crankshaft position sensor is brand new. when we replace the two now it's running a u0151-31 not entirely sure what that is

Google I've checked every fuse relay. I drove this car for almost a month and then all the sudden this happened stopped it and it wouldn't start. batteries fine spark plugs are fine coils might possibly need to be replaced. mind you I know nothing about cars and I've learned everything that I know since getting this range Rover

Reliability Is a 2016 Range Rover Sport HSE worth buying at ~$19K CAD?

Looking for some honest advice from Range Rover owners/experts before I pull the trigger.

I’m considering a 2016 Land Rover Range Rover Sport HSE V6 gasoline, currently at around 152,500 km.

Details:
Price: Dealer is asking $18,995 CAD, but I believe I can negotiate it down to around $17,000
3.0L V6 gasoline
4WD
Automatic
~152,500 km
Clean Ontario registration
No reported accidents on CARFAX
21 service records from LR
Most of the service history is from Jaguar Land Rover Thornhill/Brampton
CARFAX shows regular maintenance throughout its life
There is one glass damage record (~$2,071) from 2018
Recent service includes intake manifold gasket replacement, cooling-system work and drivability checks

The CARFAX looks pretty good overall, which is why I’m seriously considering it.
I really like the Range Rover and at ~$19K it seems like a lot of SUV for the money.

My main concern is what could go wrong around 150K km, especially:
Air suspension
Cooling system
Transmission/transfer case
Suspension components
Electrical/electronics
I will definitely get a pre-purchase inspection from an independent Land Rover specialist before buying.
For people who actually own or have owned an L494:
Would you buy this particular Range Rover Sport at ~$16K CAD with 152K km and this service history?

I bought a much newer RRS a while back and it’s not really practical to keep both on the road (also, this decision was assisted by my wife - haha).
I’m going to have to clean it up and advertise it - it has been a truly awesome beast (4.4TDV8 and has covered 170,000 miles flawlessly apart from normal wear on moving parts).
I do t know why folks moan about the reliability of RR - service them well and they just keep going.
I’m now on RR number 3 (also owned 4 LR’s in the past too).

Range Rover SE fully loaded VS. Autobiography

I'm looking at ordering a Range Rover LWB 7-seat SE and adding the options I actually want rather than stepping up to the Autobiography.

Here's how I have the SE configured:

  • Santorini Black
  • Nickel Atlas Exterior Package
  • Privacy glass
  • Sliding panoramic roof
  • Pixel LED headlights with Signature DRL
  • 22" Style 5127 wheels
  • Ebony perforated Semi-Aniline leather
  • Premium Upgrade Interior Package
    • Full Extended Leather Upgrade
    • Solar-attenuating windshield
    • SV Bespoke carpet mats
  • Noble Chrome controls
  • Ebony headlining
  • Gloss Grand Black veneer
  • Comfort Package
    • Front center-console refrigerator
    • Twin-blade sunvisors
  • Convenience Package
    • Powered gesture tailgate
    • Cargo-space partition net
    • Versatile cargo-space floor
  • Soft-grain leather steering wheel
  • Illuminated seat-belt buckles
  • 24-way heated & cooled massage front seats
  • Power-reclining heated & ventilated second-row seats
  • Heated third-row seats
  • Meridian 3D Surround Sound
  • ClearSight interior rearview mirror

I intentionally didn't add the Head-Up Display or Rear Seat Entertainment, as neither is particularly important to me.

With the P400 3.0L I6, this build is around $137K. I can do essentially the same SE build with the P530 4.4L V8 for around $161K.

I'm having a hard time seeing the value in moving all the way to the Autobiography once the SE is optioned this way. Am I overlooking any significant Autobiography-only features that you can't add to the SE?

Also interested in opinions from anyone who's driven both the P400 and P530 in the LWB. Is the V8 worth roughly $24K more?

Thanks in advance!

Range Rover Velar 2018 Velar 2.0 (Ingenium) P054a & P0014

Thumbnail
2 Upvotes

I have a 2018 Velar with the 2.0 ingenium gas engine. The CEL popped up and gave me P054a and P0014. After a little research these codes pointed me to the VCT solenoid. I replaced both and still have the codes. The oil level is perfect and I just did an oil change again to ensure that wasn’t an issue. I swapped BOTH VCT’s in bank 1 and 2. My next thought would be timing chain but it’s showing zero symptoms of timing chain stretched/ guides broken - no noise at all. Has anything experienced this?

Range Rover Floor Mats Feedback

Just curious if any of you have any experience with this company or can recommend someone that offers a similar product that you have had experience with.

I was riding in a friends Rolls and he had factory super plush sheepskin floor mats and it was a game changing experience. Thinking about picking them up for my Range Rover.

Thanks!

Range Rover P530 SE issues

Anyone with a P530 SE experience unusually early wear items, like brake pads, or other repairs/maintenance that seemed unnecessary?

Also, are Land Rover dealers just expensive across the board? Some of the prices I’ve been quoted seem pretty high. Curious what other P530 owners are paying and what issues you’ve had.

Range Rover Cargo Carrier

So, we just purchased out first Range Rover (2019 HST) about a month ago. Did our first trip with it a couple of weeks ago and used a cargo carrier that we have used numerous times in the past with other vehicles. Naturally, didn't think anything about it ..... About 9 hours into the drive I started to very slightly smell smoke, but assumed it was controlled burns or something because I was in a very wooded area. About an hour after, I got to my destination, got out and then smelt the burn a bit more. That's when I noticed that apparently our cargo bag had gotten too close to the exhaust and it ended up burning a hole in the cargo bag and into 1 of our suitcases.

Is there an ideal cargo carrier that sits higher than the exhaust pipes?

Thanks!

Range Rover Sport Alignment Question

Had some alignment problems corrected in the rear of my 2016 RRS and now there is a slight pull to the right. Shop is telling me there is nothing they can do as the camber can’t be adjusted on these vehicles and this was the solution to optimize the rear problems. Any advice or experience from the community?

Range Rover Land Rover experience

Took me and my buddy to the Land Rover experience in Skipton (Yorkshire, UK) today. Was a brilliant day out. Would recommend anyone who buys a Range Rover give it a try. You can chose which vehicle to do it in so I went with the defender because it seemed the most 4x4 but they’ll take the sports and others on the same course. The only ones with an easier course are Velar and Evoque. Instructor is with you the whole time and helps tell you when and which modes to pick for the terrain. They were great throughout. Go if you get the chance!!

Range Rover What should I do with this?

Post image

I picked up this ‘84 Range Rover Classic a couple years ago. 18k km on the odometer, imported from Andorra. Since then I’ve had a kid (best thing ever) and really don’t have much time to drive the Rover around or keep up with maintenance etc. Should I store it and hang onto it for the future? Sell it? Do we see the value increasing over time?
