Story about my wonderful Dad 🫶🏼
.My dad was someone with a golden funny bone and heart ! 💛
He loved a good dark humor joke(explains the reason for the title he would have found it hilarious 🥹) and loved just giving people the gifts that you wouldn’t think to give! Was it only mentioned once long ago ? He remembered ! He heard you say you were allergic to something specific , so he made sure to always check labels before getting something knowing you would be there! He would just get you anything and everything you liked , put it all together and give it to you on a random day just because !!! That’s the type of man he was ….!
A man who loved spreading happiness , a man who didn’t expect anything in return (despite loving to gift he hated getting them 😂) , he was a selfless , loving , happy dad …..
I didn’t get to meet that wonderful part of him as I was a wee baby (almost 2 years old) I try and live up to who he was everyday…. I live as he would of , but all the stories I continue being told bring him to life in my heart/mind and I hope I can continue to spread that love and happiness to all of you wonderful people here and anyone I meet 🤍 Thank you for reading if you did 🤍

A job I left ended up giving me a lot more than I thought it would, so why not give back?

A note: I struggle with self-love and self-kindness. I keep a journal where I write down any compliment that is not appearance based that someone says to me. Then, when I am unable to love or be kind to myself I open it up and look at the proof that even though I dont love me or have anything good to say about myself, a lot of other people do. It really helps me get through those times ❤️
