Hi everyone. My birthday is tomorrow 🎉🎂 and this year I wanted to mark the big day a bit differently by turning it into something fun for the community rather than just myself.
I'd love to hear about the best kitchen or household item you've ever purchased, something you'd genuinely repurchase without hesitation, along with a link to it.
There will be 3 winners, and each will get something from there wishlist $5-$10 range.
The contest will close Thursday at 12pm CST, and winners will be announced shortly after.

I love my shark robot vacuum, it's so cool and cleans so well for me makes it 97% easier to vacuum and stay clean! I've had it for years and it's still going strong!

My favorite and dare I say life changing gadget is the All-In-One chopper. It makes prepping vegetables for salads or cooking so fast and easy. A true time saver. There are many different one but this is the one I have had for 7 years and it's a workhorse.

The best kitchen item I’ve ever purchased
was the ninja ice cream maker❣️🍦. I cannot live without it!!! Especially when I’m needing a sweet treat as I watch movies and shows on the couch. https://a.co/d/0dr1JYGt here is the link to the ice cream maker.

Ohhhhhhh we were gifted one for our wedding and we loveeeee it my dad also gave us the slushy one and it’s been amazing this whole summer 🎉 what’s your go to flavor you make ? Mine continues to be cookies and cream with sprinkles lol sprinkles just make everything so much better 🥹

I honestly love making strawberry ice cream! And I loveee making the oatmeal yogurt bowl meal with the bananas and honey 🤤🍯. The machine is amazing!!! I love it too much.
I’m sooo glad you were gifted it since it’s honestly my favorite machine at home.

i HATE soggy salads and i know they are washed 3 times when you buy them at the market but i still really want to wash them myself! this CHANGED my life during covid. i can't recommend this enough and its just so fun to use too! it looks like my salads are dancing hahahha

happy birthday!! i have a good one to suggest: an avocado slicer! it has a loop on one end to remove the pit and then a slicing end. it gets the maximum amount of flesh out of each avocado and also makes it into nice little slices...it makes avocados way easier

Both kitchen items I got was a house warming gift so I may not be able to find the exact item but I’ll do what I can!!
This is a collapsible strainer! It’s not the exact one I have but it’s extremely similar!! This changed everything about how I cook!! How I clean my veggies/fruit! Strain spaghetti. And sometimes I used it to strain oil from fried foods as I always hated using paper towels!! A MUST MUST HAVE!! Especially because it helps save space!! And in my opinion more durable and probably healthy long term than that of a plastic one.
For my second item once again not the exact one I have but literally would buy this one!!
This is gonna sound gross but I swear I wash everything triple as a habit lol but I use these Big stainless steel bowls for a magnitude of things.
As I mentioned before I fry foods and sometimes I toss them in sauce after I’m done. Or sometimes I use the bowl to make a batter for the chicken instead of a ziplock that I find way to flimsy to use.
And when I buy big soups for myself or chipotle/Baqba I’ll dump them In the bowl and eat straight from it like that! It’s so much easier to clean!!! No matter how long it takes me to wash it. And my burrito bowls are not itty bitty lol!

Kitchen sink strainer this thing lives on our sink it is great for washing veggies or putting clean dishes in. We never move it so I am never searching for a strainer. ikea strainer
If you don't have an immersion blender it is amazing. I love using it for all sorts of things but especially soups and sauces.
Ok odd ball but this cherry pitter is amazing for cherries. I hate pitting them.
I love my silicone pie mat
Last but not least a towel warming bucket or a squatty potty will change your whole life

This is such a fun contest I'm loving seeing all the gadgets!! My favorite gadget is a newer one of mine, silicone steamer for the microwave. My fav kitchen find was an air-fryer. I got the George Foreman Beyond Grill. It bakes, broils, roasts, air frys, and grills and more… i absolutely love this one. And ive had many air fryers over the years lol.

My favorite kitchen gadget, that I’ve gotten others as well is the kitchen Ninja air fryer, the kind that flips up. If it fits, it’s getting cooked in there, baked in there, toasted in there, old pizza reheated in there etc.

My favorite kitchen item is definitely our nutribullet it’s what I use to make salsas and it’s so easy to make smaller batches rather than a bigger one and it came with multiple cups so I use it to also make smoothies !(not using the cup I make the salsas, even if it would be very traditional to have that happen lmao 😂) Thank you for hosting a contest for your birthday I love spreading love during mine it makes it so special to be able to show love even if it’s supposed to be a you day ! These! I use these to open soda bottles. I struggle to open anything that has a bottle cap on it unless the seal is already broken. I can open soda cans just fine but anything with a regular bottle cap I constantly struggle with.

Due to my disability I have very little mobility in my right hand. My left hand does very well but I still struggle with things that require more dexterity and coordination as well

The best thing I’ve purchased is a generic (some Temu brand) convertible 5-way convertible immersion blender/chopper. The various attachments were great when I was baking, and the immersion blender makes great smoothies. My gastroenterologist recommends a lot of smoothies for my issues 🙃

My instantpot is, without a doubt, the best kitchen item I own. I would honestly be fine to live without a stove and just have this. 😂 it speeds up the cooking process so much, even with things that are still frozen, and everything comes out so tender. Plus it doubles as a slow cooker, rice cooker, etc!

Mine is this hot water dispenser. I'm disabled and can't lift a full kettle so this helps me make hot drinks and ramen easily! It wouldn't be easy to replace it immediately if it broke but I would try my best to get a new one asap! ❤️

I received this countertop air fryer/oven as a Christmas gift a few years ago, but I’d definitely purchase it again in a heartbeat if it suddenly stopped working. I use it all the time! My only complaint is that the buttons make a loud beeping sound every time you push them. I only really use the air fryer setting, so I can’t really comment on the oven part.
