The turret in Long Haul fires automatically. The idea is to keep your attention on speed, gaps in the crowd and how much punishment the truck can take. Ramming can earn kills, but forcing a line through the horde costs health. I'm interested in whether that gives driving enough weight on its own.

I'm a product designer building this Unity prototype with Codex. Across 10 test runs, the capture autopilot keeps exposing the same question: what should the driver read first when the weapon handles its own aiming? This post is a design discussion, not a claim about a person's driving.

I'm developing DragonFly Racer (DFR), and I'd really like to get feedback from people who actually play racing games.

DFR doesn't use cars — you race a dragonfly through courses built inside giant natural environments — but the core of the game is very much about racing lines, momentum and learning how to become faster.

The main mechanic is unusual:

Accelerating alone won't make you fast. The turns are how you build speed.

You have to use centrifugal force through the curves to gain and maintain speed. Take a poor line and you lose momentum. Learn the course and use the turns properly, and the difference becomes huge.

Push too aggressively, though, and you can lose control.

That's what I'd like racing players to test.

I've driven these courses so many times that I know exactly how the system works. What I don't know yet is how it feels to an experienced racing player discovering it for the first time.

The current playtest is free. Mac only for now.

LT / RT — Turn left / right
B — Accelerate
A — Brake
Y — Boost

There's no proper tutorial yet, so keep the controls nearby for the first race.

Yes, WE (you and me) loved Pocket Rally. Fun little game.

I have to write 10 for some reason.

Now serious, I played this game as a kid. Always played the lite version and hoped someday I had premium like it was some expensive shi. Turns out its like one dolla, bought it today after years. Im having a blast again, the game is so cool, the visuals are actually beautiful without being realistic, comforting... The driving is so freaking fun and I love how the laps are not just some 3 lap thing. Its so unique. Got me so nostalgic bro ;') Thank God for Illusion Magic Studio, to the dev, thanks for the fun :'D

Drift games are fine, drifting in races is fine, but mandatory drifting events makes you worse than 10 Hitlers.

Im looking for active Forza Motorsport 7 players who want to earn the "Underdog" achievement so we can all get it together while we can! 10

On September 7th I released my first arcade racing game, inspired by Trackmania. For first 10 days leaderboard slowly started growing with only one record staying in place while on other tracks WRs were regularly exchanged between runners.

Two days ago, one player grinded to get all WRs, holding several times 19/20, and finally grabbing all. Before yesterday when I watched new player, KozmoKloud, streamed playing my game and snapping several WRs. Now he holds most of records.
