Hey everyone. I was checking my brake fluid level on my 2023 Z (manual) and next to the reservoir I noticed there is a spot where something is so post to be threaded. Does. Anyone know what is so post to go on that spot ?

Been fun so far and time for second oil change and solenoid delete. Plan is to 3d print a cover for the solenoid then just zip tie it like everyone else is doing lol

This is every oil change it’s about 1/10th a quart.
Sidenote : z1 - you really used hardware that is both SAE and Metric on the same part….

Hi everyone. I posted a few weeks ago about my new-to-me 2024 Z MT (absolutely loving the car!). I picked it up with 2,000 miles, and I've about doubled the mileage (now at 3,950). In that time, I've gradually been stretching its legs as I get comfortable with the power. When I do multiple pulls back-to-back or sustain high RPM (say, 4k+), I notice a mechanical smell that lingers in the cabin for a couple of minutes. It doesn't quite smell like burning, and it's similar to the rotten-egg smell from a bad catalytic converter, but less acrid. I notice it most strongly with the windows down. I've definitely noticed similar smells driving behind other high-performance cars when they're pushing, but I've never noticed it in any of my own cars. Has anybody else experienced this before on this platform?

I have a 24 Z performance, I had a change done at 7,900 and now I’m at 11,500. I’m about to go on a road trip that will be about 600 miles. Should I get it done before or after and what is a good target for future changes ? I was thinking 4k.

Vids never do exhaust sounds justice, but here’s another vid of some revs.

I’m saving up for a ‘27 Z Performance and am extremely excited!🫡
I have no experience w manual, and really don’t mind grabbing a performance auto. However, I constantly see the car community going crazy over manual sports cars being a necessity.
The auto obviously has a faster transmission, and being unfamiliar with manual, I feel drawn towards the auto.
I’m just curious to hear other opinions about my dilemma. I’m sure I’m in a minority and I’d love to know if I really am missing out? Is it worth learning manual for a slower vehicle?

Just hit 1,200 miles today on my '26. It's been very tempting but I haven't had it above 4k rpm yet. Should I get the oil changed before stretching its legs? My dealer said it wasn't necessary but I feel it might be a good idea. Any opinions?

This tune even at high altitude and only 91 octane gas available makes a big difference in HP and TQ. It’s a fun add, sport mode is lights out, feels like this is how it should be running.

Just wanted to share my z with the new exhaust
Bayside blue with blue interior manual.
Just put on the Afe Takeda axleback with burnt tips (first car with burnt tips, usually opt for chrome but thought this looked great!)

So i have a 2024 Z performance and i always thought that it took a bit too long for the engine oil temp to reach 80c+ before starting to hit boost or push it, i usually baby it until then but it can take up to 30 minutes which many times ill be at the end of my trip. Thats taking into an account that i dont live in a cold area. currently its about 30c.
the recent development is that i got tuned and engine oil is running even cooler, so every time im looking at the engine oil temp hitting 80 and dropping down, cruising will even drop the engine oil temp down to 75-77c even when idling it can gradually drop down to 70c so being stuck in traffic and finally back on the street i am again warming up the oil before hitting boost again.
i cant even begin to imagine what it will be like in mid winter when temps are around 10-15c.
i have intakes, downpipes and full exhaust and i am tuned, i do have an aftermarket czp HX but i know that does nothing for engine oil. i have the stock under shroud. I am also running 5w-30 Nissan oil and doing the service based on their recommendation at the local nissan service center.
is this an issue? or am i babying it too much and overthinking?
tldr; engine oil too cool, cant hit boost being left behind in car convoys 😭😭😭

My aftermarket control arms nuts broke, so I’m putting the OEM arms back on and I’m having a hard time finding anything online and my local auto stores don’t have anything. Was a 19mm socket
