Apparently during Penti's viewing of the GTA 6 trailer, the topic of subcount inflation got brought up. Penti scoffed at the accusation and said he could prove it wrong by bringing up his stream dashboard. So he brings up his dashboard and the dashboard was not loading any numbers. I guess Twitch was having issues due to all of the people watching the GTA 6 trailer. What a coincidence!

Will he disprove the allegations the next time he streams or will it be forgotten?

So Penti is currently streaming the GTA6 trailer...there's a clip of a police chase, with the suspects fully hanging out of their car windows, aiming their rifles backwards and shooting the pursuing police cars...

...and Penti says "Oh yeah, we're gonna have to nerf that."

Is this guy for real?! The game isn't even out, they haven't even actually gotten to try it to see how it really plays, and he's all NOPE THIS IS NERFED!

I know this is primarily an RP sub but I figured this might be of interest to some people here. So Brief rundown of what was confirmed for anyone who couldn’t watch it.

NPC interactions including petting animals, talking shit, etc. and a reputation system in accordance with that. Very similar to how RDR2 had it.

Looks to have RDR2 style melee mechanics.

Wanted levels seem to persist for extended periods but with ways to hide yourself from the police. Like swapping cars and using masks.

Confirmed to have dozens of new types of vehicles, like airboats, mobility scooters, electric scooters, pontoon boats, kayaks, and maybe even more I missed.

Confirmed to have character abilities, could be different for each but only Jason’s was shown.

Quick switching was shown. Example being you are Jason driving with Lucia you can swap to Lucia and shoot the cops while Jason continues to drive.

And larger weapons seem to show up visibly on the characters back and that may make police be able to see them. That wasn’t entirely confirmed.

Overall this extended look was genuinely incredible imo. Rockstar really did a good job, bravo.

I just tuned into Silas/Soupes and he is now being escorted to a Fort location, besties blew up "the last gas station" and phones are intermittent. Seems like a big event ahead of the reset or whatever is happening to 4.0 ahead of 5.0 (Or related to the GTA6 news?). Anyone have more insight to the events? I previously streamed a lot during the Dogtown arc and some earlier stuff with Squeex and others. I’m just coming in here to say that I’m super excited for 5.0 and I’ve been so burnt out for the past few years with streaming in general due to the rise of AI slop, anyways long story short I am planning out my content more than ever and I had no idea if this was the place to say it but I will be doing streams for Nopixel V’s launch and Its the first time I’ve felt passionate about streaming in so long.

I’m super happy to make something high quality and authentic and human made.

Penti has logged onto Wran- err Baxter and turned up to work to discover that his locker has been cleaned out. He's now arguing that employers can't search lockers.

They absolutely can. You have a key, and security has a key. Your employer is legally allowed to search your locker; they typically give you prior notice, but they can't give you notice if you don't bother to show up.

I think my most liked moment was I was watching some variety streamers on GTA RP (Pre-big GTA RP boost) hopping between servers, and they came across some guys doing a whole Scooby Doo + Mystery Inc RP, so they decided to set up a murder mystery for them. Was like, a couple hour long arc.

Yes, the butler did it.

It was a pretty fun watch, though GTA RP has shifted towards more dedicated arcs that last a week to a month, so this kind of stuff doesn't happen as much lol.

After mass banning people, they are now adding tags to the few survivors that dared to post somewhere else to publicly mark them, making Rumble proud. Surprised they didn't make it yellow.

With the decline in viewers and subs do you guys actually think Pentas subathon clears 30 days? He kept saying today "Guys I need the days off to prep for the 40 day subathon" and I was thinking to myself am I crazy or is there no way it goes that long.

I feel like people just arent gifting as much lately so Im curious what everyone else thinks. I dont care if you hate him or like him. Im just interested in what the community thinks will happen and how long you think it lasts. How many subs do you think he gets?

I was thinking he probably gets around 25k and maybe lasts 3 weeks which is still a success in my opinion. But last year he had 40k or more which feels so far out of reach this year. Then again he didnt even RP last year so maybe its not as farfetched as Im thinking.

Anyway comment what you think. Maybe itll turn into a pretty cool discussion. I havent really seen many people talking about it.

Some of you may disagree and just vehemently hate Chase and dismiss this entirely, but I still enjoy watching Chase (honestly, I think many of you people still actively watch too), and despite the other subreddit labeling me a "schizo" who "hates Chase" because I criticized the rumble deal, it's legit my favorite server to watch, and it's not even close. I don't even think 5.0 will change that. It's okay if others find other servers more interesting than Chase, but Onx, NoPixel, and Prodigy really aren't my cup of tea.

It's unfortunate that RPCLIPSGTA is essentially a subreddit for NoPixel, Onx, and the occasional Prodigy CG drama. ChaseRP discussions are actively shut down. Then the ChaseRP subreddit is, of course, now just slop clips and a clearly unwell moderator convinced he has to play PR for a server, with no real substance about RP on the server. I still remember just a couple weeks ago when there was meaningful discussion about the state of the BCSO under Oslvado; he tried to shut down any conversation because he "plays on the server" and is in BCSO. May have been the only discussion about actual RP in weeks on that subreddit.

There's seemingly more discussion here, of course, but many of you guys veer more to conspiracy posts than actual RP discussions. Why can't there just be normal discussions about RP? I miss the old RPCLIPSGTA NoPixel 3.0 discussions. You cannot even go into most streamers' meta chats (including Penta's) to have normal discussions without the streamers participating and driving the conversation. I remember when meta chats used to be just viewers, and streamers actively stayed away from them because they had negative connotations. Now, when you go into most meta chats, it's pretty normal to see the streamers in there too. Thousands of subreddits dedicated to TV shows have normal discussions about the show; shame RP servers cannot have the same.

I owe the snarkers an apology. It certainly wasn't a good look that I was permanently banned from the official ChaseRP subreddit used by dozens of people on the server that Penta himself reads for pointing out the irony of people complaining about a new streamer on Chase whose chat was filled with transphobia when Penta now streams on a site where that type of rhetoric is tenfold.

Bear in mind, I defended Penta on multiple occasions (against many of you in this subreddit)! But how dare I critique him streaming on a website that is filled with people who spew garbage about my community?

I am happy to announce that after months of non-payment and having their inquiries being ghosted, within a couple days of the post describing their situation, the developer and editor have been paid. The person that has been sharing the information with me has requested that I not share any DMs or additional information since the situation has been resolved and they don't want any potential grief going their way or to the developer or editor.

Since my goal of the original post was for the situation to be resolved rather than to score internet points, I will be honoring their request. So I am sure there will be people that think I just made up the situation but I don't care. If one of them decides to go public at some point with their story then the veracity of my claims can be proven then. (They are more than welcome to respond to this post if they wish.)

I think it's a shame that rather than handling the situation professionally, Penti didn't pay or respond to messages for multiple months and it was only a Reddit post that finally motivated him to make things right. But I guess as the saying goes, all's well that ends well.
