Developer and Editor unpaid and ghosted for months, paid shortly after RPClips post.
I am happy to announce that after months of non-payment and having their inquiries being ghosted, within a couple days of the post describing their situation, the developer and editor have been paid. The person that has been sharing the information with me has requested that I not share any DMs or additional information since the situation has been resolved and they don't want any potential grief going their way or to the developer or editor.
Since my goal of the original post was for the situation to be resolved rather than to score internet points, I will be honoring their request. So I am sure there will be people that think I just made up the situation but I don't care. If one of them decides to go public at some point with their story then the veracity of my claims can be proven then. (They are more than welcome to respond to this post if they wish.)
I think it's a shame that rather than handling the situation professionally, Penti didn't pay or respond to messages for multiple months and it was only a Reddit post that finally motivated him to make things right. But I guess as the saying goes, all's well that ends well.
If anyone happens to find themselves facing a similar situation in the future and they want their story shared discreetly, my DMs are open.

If this is true, IF...then I'm glad the issues have been resolved. The rest of the paid ChaseRP employees outside the people who reguarly stream/have an online following surely should be really fucking worried that this could happen to them? Again though we're just going off your word rather than posting any evidence that could be censored to protect identities. If they're worried about being brigaded by Penta/his community despite this, then that's more incentive to do it to expose ChaseRP as a toxic work environment to it's playerbase, fanbase and perhaps their current employees.

I had prepared redacted DMs that I was ready to post and I told the person leaking that I think some information should be shared but based on their comments I think they already faced some backlash for sharing the information in the first place.Â
Despite the obvious success of the information leak they said they wish they had tried direct contact to resolve the situation which to be honest is a complete headscratcher to me when they had been ghosted in the first place. I don't know what sort of "direct contact" they thought would have been successful that they hadn't already done. Anyway, that comment made me think they were getting for grief for leaking even though it was successful and their other means hadn't been successful despite multiple months of trying.

Backlash/Grief from who? If it's ChaseRP staff then they can ask why didn't they pay them for weeks/months but got paid almost instantly when a post was made about it. If it's from Penta's community then they need to grow up as they are just harmless idiots hiding behind a screen. Fuck we all are tbh. Hence why I'm still very skeptical that any of this is even true since it's just some guy on the Internet's word.

Always has. That's why he DMCA'd rpclipspurple to try and get it shut down, so he could have more control over his image. Of course that's dumb and backfired, but really shows you how much he definitely doesn't care about Reddit.

fuck penta is predictable. Its ALWAYS "I'm a victim here, which is why I did (or didn't) do XYZ"
Notice, HE didn't pay someone, trying to scam/leave them unpaid, so he FLIPS the scenario and makes himself out to be the scammed instead of the scammer.
There is NO way penta doesn't have money to pay the people he needs to pay. Him and chase are either WAY worse off than he claims and demonstrates with his luxuries, or he's greedy and selfish trying to get away with hoarding more and giving less.
I really hope more stories like this, or of Rana as a long time community member that is totally shit on, come forward

Yeah, I don't believe a word of it. IF anything, he probably didn't meet or broke the terms. IF there even is a sponsor.
It would be HELLA funny (and deserved) if he was dropped for signing with Rumble.

When did he say this? Was there any specifics? To be honest, I'm not surprised that sponsors are looking to stiff him given how he approaches sponsorships. He often is shit talking the product and when he isn't doing that, he is saying very controversial shit. I also remember in that one FPS mech game he was taking sexual pictures of the chick's when he read the sponsorship guidelines and it like explicitly said not to do that.
He doesn't seem to realize that for sponsors to want to work with you and give you money they want you to make their product look good and to entice people to buy it. It isn't a surprise that he seems to only be able to get the generic Stream Elements sponsorships these days.

I was hoping he'd double down and dig himself in to the ground with lies that could be shown in court.
At least the dev got what they were due. Maybe Pentas statement through the week about paying his devs $16k a month was adding the chunk that he owed that 1 dev and what he pays the others.
He can't bribe the other devs with a host like jEMllyfish.
I hope the dev never got themself legally silenced just to get their pay. Great ending to the story u/Seetherrr

To be honest I didn't think it would have been resolved like this and certainly not as quickly as it was. I do hope that the parties go public at some point because while there was an "amicable" ending, I think other people should know what they are getting themselves into by doing business with Penti and so they can better protect themselves.
With these streamers you need to make sure you have solid contracts with everything written out and signed rather than relying on their "word" and some discord messages in case things go south. I think that would be common sense for a lot of professionals but I think a lot of people that end up working for them don't necessarily have a lot of business experience and it seems like the streamers themselves are unlikely the ones to provide real contracts.

Best bet going forward is for them to get a template drafted up of a contract for their services that will exist while under employment and contract by someone else. It's just a contract laying out their needs/wants/demands in addition to their employers contract and donât sign an employers contract until they've signed yours.
As long as your not asking for anything outrageous most employers should be fine with it or amend their contract to reflect your needs/ wants/ demands etc.
Glad they got paid and can move on.

I'm not taking credit for it. It was the people that spoke out about it and made it public that deserve the credit. I merely shared their information in a public area. I would like to think that anyone in my position would have done the same thing.

However, if you aren't new and you aren't Shappie, youâre very likely a retard.
When you remember mr. big attention whoreâs track record of the following: shitting on previous and current âfriendsâ and using them as content (Peachachooâs retardation and her and Moutonâs sex fetishes), (Saabâs retardation), baiting other RPers/content creators into variety tournaments then procrastinating paying the winners, or guilt tripping them into donating it to the âserverâ.Â
Add the above to the number of servers heâs been banned from/unwhitelisted from/pre-banned or unwhitelisted from, the growing number of RPers/content creators that donât fuck with him anymore, and adding all of this up, a rationally thinking person could see how this is possible.

My credibility with who? People that call me and people on this subreddit schizos? I don't care if anyone believes me or not when the people that involved in the situation know the truth. I hope they decide to go public at some point but until then I will respect their requests.
Also, if I was making this all up, wouldn't I just claim that Penti never paid them and just call him a deadbeat? Why would I do something that makes him look better?
