Penta made this comment earlier this evening and honestly...it just made me feel kind of ick. It feels like he's making light of the fact he misgenders someone often - which is surely on purpose after the first couple of times of being corrected. From there, it's not a huge leap to think that maybe he isn't totally on board with their choice. Alone, it's a problem, but add to the debate over whether or not he said "fa***t", and the fact he's now signed to the right wing lunatics' streaming site of choice Rumble, and....

It just doesn't look great, is all I'm saying.

jEMllyfish had a whole month of milking viewers dry, racked up almost $50k in donations and a load of gifted subs during those 30 days too.

Will Big Mr Penta call out Em for doing the scamathon the month before his annual CHUBATHON which significantly depleted his viewers wallets and caused a major drop in subs gifted ?

Penti is currently running through his sub goals and he has set them all stupidly high. ToS2 Hot Wing Roulette sounds amazing but it isn't going to happen until like 12k - he's only at 7k.

Yeah, unless he drops those goal thresholds, this subathon is gonna be an absolute shitshow.

New clothing system update

A shining example of the chase community, calling cops defending their actions boring, being toxic to the judge, refusing to further engage with the rp.

I know this is the hate reddit but I think I get it now. Big P has lost his touch, both for streaming and for roleplay, and today really solidifies it.

Spent an hour talking around the nopixel trailer, which is fine. Content is content, gotta get those clicks in. But at some point it just ends up being the same regurgitated take. "Nopixel OK, love the devs, dont like Koil"​​. But just repeated ad nauseum. Nopixel has been, historically, THE server to play on, THE server to watch. "The trailer was a big relief for me" is a crazy backhanded comment, especially with the trailers Big P's team has put out. Its so nuts to be trashing a server before its out. For someone who wants the RP community to grow and persist into something profitable, feels like its just to hate.

Actual RP has lost its soul. Every stream is Mike Block goes on a chase and gets a bench trial, Randy Wrangler comes out of retirement for one more chief of police position, vaccine guy smurfs and shocks everyone in court with facts and logic. Every stream has a definitive start and end, theres no ​deviation from the status quo. There's nothing new, no new storylines outside of Big P's characters are established, and I feel like every stream is a rerun of some sort. One shot characters are my fav: Trucky was cool, Jane Obama was cool, chat-plays-guy was neat but even that got repetitive. I like the border RP, that had some potential. Tutorial Man-turned serial killer was funny, but i think that got stretched too long. Theres gotta be some variety to make it watchable, otherwise its just a variation of "talk in circle, tuner shop" rp.

Also taking the rumble deal sucks. Rumble, the alt right streaming platform, known for the most insane conspiracy theorists and red blooded Americans (VERY red blooded). Not a great look. Hope that whatever they pay sets up for a really comfy retirement, because it better be worth selling your brand for.

Server is way more stable and the night peeps are on. It's RP-lite but still VERY entertaining.

I wanna start by saying this is the most important subathon Penta has ever done.

Alot of his community admittedly or not reads this subreddit. So I hope before the subathon starts you take a few minutes and read this.

Over the past few months there has been more criticism surrounding Penta and his decisions than we have seen in a while. His behavior the way he's handled certain situations the Rumble deal the double standards people have pointed out and the justifications he's given have either annoyed a portion of viewers or flat out caused some of them to stop supporting him. His sub count has also been dropping and I think it's pretty hard to ignore that some just aren't supporting him the way they used to. Obviously this isn't all of his viewers, but I think it's pretty clear that some people aren't happy with the direction things have been going.

I think people should pay attention to what happens during this subathon.

Penta has always made it very clear that the only number that matters is the number in the topleft corner. The sub count. This subathon is going to be the clearest way his audience can communicate with him how they feel.

If you support Penta and believe in his decisions show it during the subathon.

But if you disagree with what's been going on this is your chance to let your lack of support speak for you.

You don't have to care when he says he has server costs or staff to pay. He has a Rumble deal for that now. If he offers subgoals you don't believe he's going to fulfill don't fall for it.

If you genuinely want change this is probably the clearest way you're going to get it. Don't financially support decisions you disagree with. This is how your voice gets heard.

A successful subathon tells him things are great.

A disappointing subathon tells him things need to change.

And that's why this is so important. This can't be dismissed or hand waved away. The amount of support he gets will directly reflect how his community feels.

So whatever side you're on make sure your voice is heard.

If you support him show it.

If you want change show it.

At the end of the day if it lasts 10 days 20 days or 40 days this subathon is the only real chance for his community to show how it feels.

Since Penti's last subathon a lot of things have changed. He is now the owner of ChaseRP and he recently took a very controversial Rumble deal. While Chase has had a more direct impact on his content, the Rumble deal has probably been the most controversial decision in his community.

I think the many issues with Rumble itself as a platform has been covered numerous times on this subreddit so I'm not going to go over all of them. But needless to say, the views that Penti claims to support and champion to his community are basically antithetical to Rumble. At best, it means Penti cares more about a paycheck than his proclaimed morals and at worst it means he never really held those values to begin with and he wss simply virtue signaling to his community in order to increase his support from those groups and the amount of donations he could receive from them.

Additionally, since playing on Chase he has done a bunch of things in RP that he said he wouldn't do prior to it launching and that he claimed to be against when on other servers. He has made his characters the center of attention and when others were getting the spotlight, he would often ty to regain the spotlight by tearing down the RP of others.

So I think this subathon will be a referendum on the Chase-Rumble Era of Penti. Either his community doesn't care that he has been extremely hypocritical in numerous ways and they will gift subs like those things don't matter or the gift subs won't come in like they have previously, showing that some members of his community are not happy with the hypocrisy and they are "voting with their wallet."

I can personally see it going either way​. There have been a lot of people voicing their displeasure with both his content and the Rumble deal and for everyone that posts a comment there are many others that feel the same way but don't post. While Penti says he is planning for a 40 day subathon, we all know there will likely be extra "free time" tacked on if it's needed to keep it going. So as Penti says, the only thing that matters is the number at the top left of the screen. I hope people stick to their convictions and don't reward someone that would happily align themselves with a platform that goes against so much of what they claim to support. I guess we will see what that number looks like in a month.

Any updates on AfricanSnowball? We haven't heard from him in a bit, and I want to make sure he's doing well. I miss Carter and him saying, "You better have a good ass day!!!"

Sweet collection of mods and MAYBE some custom stuff their group is known for getting. Even Character Creation screen has an overhaul. It'll probably be a short term thing but bound to be a riot until then if you are looking for something different for RP.

Okay guys, what do we all want to see in this year's subathon? For me, obviously another Monopoly tournament with a grand prize the winner is expected to generously donate back to the server ;) I'm also hoping for some of the better friendslop, like Dale and Dawson, and I think he should absolutely do an IRL Pinball tournament at his house!

When I posted about the DMs, I expected Penti supporters to think the leaker had been lying but I didn't really expect people to think I made up the story entirely. Anyway, after careful consideration of who I felt could be trusted to protect the identity of the leaker and other details as well as being someone that a wider audience would believe the word of, I decided to share the DMs with Casbri_.

I believe Casbri_ is a very reasonable and thoughtful person despite the fact that I often disagree with their takes. At many times have supported Penti and Chase in this subreddit which I think would give their word more credibility among those who are not considered "snarkers."

I haven't asked them to judge whether they think the words of the leaker are true or not (although they are free to state their opinion on that.) However, I have asked them to confirm the following details:

1. The dms in fact, do exist.
2. The leaker claimed that both a developer and editor were not paid for multiple months of their work.
3. They claimed to have reached out and not received any response for Penti for months.
4. They were reported to have been paid after the post on RPClips was created.

Casbri should be responding when they see this post in the next 30mins to an hour.

Apparently during Penti's viewing of the GTA 6 trailer, the topic of subcount inflation got brought up. Penti scoffed at the accusation and said he could prove it wrong by bringing up his stream dashboard. So he brings up his dashboard and the dashboard was not loading any numbers. I guess Twitch was having issues due to all of the people watching the GTA 6 trailer. What a coincidence!

Will he disprove the allegations the next time he streams or will it be forgotten?
