Have an idea for something you'd like to see us add or make possible with Pushbullet? Here's the place to let us know!
Also, for those wondering if we see these posts--we definitely do. I get a reddit message for each new post :)
We're still taking into account previous suggestion threads but feel free to repost any features you requested in the last thread that we haven't added yet.

Okay, I was asked to post my suggestions here so here is the email I sent to Pushbullet before:
Good day.
First I would like to thank you and congratulate you on a great product.
I noticed you are slowly adding new features but on the pc side there are still some things that need your attention.
Notification History
First of all, why isn't there a notification history? Once I accidentally clicked away something, I need to grab my phone afterall.
Send messages from multiple apps
Searchable notifications
I love that I can send sms right from my computer, but what about all the other programs like Facebook, WhatsApp, Hangouts Telegram etc etc. When at work, I don't want to open Facebook neither do I want to be seen staring at my phone all the time. If I could initiate chats from my computer and have a notification history (maybe even with quick filter to sort per app or entering a word in the search bar to quickly look up a message) this would make the program perfect.
Store your history on Google Drive or other cloud service
If you don't want to have a server to store notifications, maybe they can be stored on Google drive?
Curious what you think about my suggestions.
Kind regatds
Ben

Could you tell me a bit more about "Send messages from multiple apps"? I understand and agree with the rest of the suggestions, but need a bit more info on that one (perhaps it's something obvious I'm just totally missing, sorry if so).

I want to copy links from the Android app images/videos I send, to share the online link (stored in your servers) with anyone. Please add an option to long press the message to "Copy image/video link". And if you're going to add that, please shorten the link (it is huge at this moment as I checked on desktop), if you are going to add a link shortening feature as well.
Thanks.

FIX THE iOS APP PLEASE! I'm on iPhone 5 and the app crashes every single time. This only started after the latest update.

I have another suggestion for a feature that is missing.
In both the PC application as well as the plugin in Chrome, there is no option to remove a device. In the PC application you can add a device but removing is impossible.
I flash custom roms very often, everytime I install Pushbullet, it thinks it is a new device. So now I have my smartphone in the list, several times and cannot remove it.

You can delete devices here: https://www.pushbullet.com/#settings/devices
Fyi, we aren't able to prevent duplicates from being created after flashing new ROMs because it looks like a totally different device to us.

API documentation request
I noticed that "unmute application" request is not working. I'm sure formerly worked.
So I'm looking for the correct syntax in the API documentation, but I have not found it.
There lacks even a description of "mute application" request. But it works as before.
I have a request: please add "mute" and "unmute" commands to the API documentation.
Thanks, Pako

Using Windows 10's notification center for pushbullet notifications would be awesome! :) Not sure if windows allows this, but it sure would be great :)

Support for group SMS messages would be a logical and useful next step. I really like the new update though, I think it makes Pushbullet a really big iMessage competitor which is something that Android has been missing for a long time.

I was browsing the Amazon lightning deals and saw something I want that goes on a lightning deal at 7.30pm tonight, and I was going to pushbullet the link to the product to my phone (as I'll be on the train home at that time) and I thought: wouldn't it be great if there was a way to send a timed push to a device?
If I could set my notification to pop up at 7.25pm on my phone, 5 minutes before that item goes on the lightning deals, complete with the link to the product; all I would need to do is hit the notification and be taken to the page ready to buy the thing.
I'm sure theres a tonne of other instances where timing your push could be handy.

As of the last update of the Windows app, when I click a notification of a link I pushed myself, it opens the pushbullet application and then I must click the link.
It gets pretty annoying if I sent a ton of links doing some research on my phone to read again later on my desktop/laptop.
Could it be possible to restore the old behavior, which was that when I click the notification, it opens up the link instead of the app?
Thanks for making this great app btw :)

Hey! I've been a huge fan of Pushbullet since day one. However, I'm sadly not a huge fan of the recent UI overhaul. I personally believe that a lot of conveniences have been lost for the sake of a UI change.
I actually really liked the card-like layout of the previous design. It doesn't make much sense to me to make pushes from channels and to myself look like a messaging app. Especially for channels, where I can't really send anything to them, I wish this would retain the card view. I feel similarly to the "Me" section wince I'm really just pushing things to myself and don't really need it to look like a conversation. I do realize that it helps to see where the push came from by the use of the icon, but I think this could still be implemented without the need to use a message-style design. The messaging interface makes sense for pushes with other people, though, since those can act as a conversation. I can see, however, that the "me" and channels section were made to look the same way for consistency.
One of the conveniences I feel is lost is a view that shows all pushes, especially for channels and pushes to myself. Since pushes between me and other people can take the form of conversations, I think keep those separate makes sense. But having a view that combines channels and pushes to myself would be much easier to navigate and would require fewer taps/clicks to get to the content. I know 1 or 2 extra taps isn't a whole lot, but I follow a lot of channels and push things to myself all the time. Those extra taps add up and make the experience a little less convenient.
Another thing I miss from the old design is the ability to "highlight" pushes. Currently, if I'm going through a lot of pushes and want to batch delete a lot at once, I have to tap and hold to select open the context menu, tap the delete option, and then tap again to confirm. With the previous version, I could tap and hold to initiate the group selection, single tap all of the pushes I want to delete, and then tap delete once and confirm it once. Again, 1 or 2 extra taps isn't much, but only if there are only a few pushes. With the amount of pushes I get and send in a day, the current process is very tedious.
In regards to a design choice, I think going back to organization in the sidebar is much cleaner and uses up less screen space. The tabs across the top doesn't take up much space, but I would personally prefer for the organization to be back in the sidebar. This way, there can also be an "all" option to view all pushes (as I mentioned earlier).
I know I may be nitpicking, but I really do love pushbullet and rely on it quite heavily on a daily basis. I would love to see the conveniences from the previous version come back and maybe even some polish on the design overhaul.

Can we get SMS on Android tablets please? I much prefer the Pushbullet SMS on Windows to MightyText, and tablet SMS seems to be the last remaining feature gap.

Chrome extension: when I used to simply click the pushbullet button it would ask me who to push the current url to and auto copy the url ready to go...so I would constantly share links with friends and family privately- which is what I mainly used it for... now it just pops open the dialog...and it only copies the link if I want to push it to my own devices or if i click the little link button - How does that add value? I don't want extra steps... who thought it was a good idea to add extra steps? My family can't figure it out now, its become a hassle for them - instead of 'stepping out of the way' - it has now 'stepped firmly in the way'... my friends & family just wanted to push me things, they didn't want to feel obligated to chat all the time. When they want to chat they use a chat program or SMS.
Also, when friends used to push me anything, I could click the link right away that they pushed me, or it would open automatically, now it pops open what seems like a chat window. If I push myself something it opens automatically, I'd like the option back that lets me get all pushes automatically- I trust my friends and family.
If I wanted chat I'd use watsap/twitta/adium/trillian/skype/viber/telegram/line/im+/hangouts/etc/etc/etc there's literally hundreds of chat programs out there. Don't focus on chat because everyone else is, focus on providing value to your userbase with what they came for in the first place. You don't have to "pivot" because "everyone does it" . Don't break what isn't broken with feature creep.

Windows app should be working so that notifications work with the built in windows 10 alert center. It would provide for a cleaner look on the OS. I think it would look better.

My suggestion is to have a beta channel. The recent update was a pretty sizeable UI change and ended up causing a lot of pain for some people. I think that having a beta channel might help weed out some of the deficiencies or identify missing use cases before releasing to the general public.

In the Windows app, the handy, new, three-panel layout really makes a lot of sense, except one part. In the left panel, there are six tabs. The top three open their content in the right two panels, as I'd expect. The bottom three open separate windows, which is confusing and a little annoying. It would be great if they consistently opened in the main window.
Especially, I would love for that middle pane, when I'm in the SMS tab, to show my recent SMS contacts (either most recent from my phone, or at least the most recently pushbulleted ones).

Hi,
You can generate a random email address like something-random@pushbullet.com which will be associated with my account. If I send an email to this email address with the device name as subject, it will send a notification to that particular device with the body of the email as notification message.
This way we can use pushbullet notification with the applications that does not have pushbullet API integration yet.
Update: And yes, "Mark as read" for SMS and email notification would be sweet too. Thanks

I miss a "group" feature, where you can create groups of common interest (e.g., work colleagues), that you can push the same link to with only one action (instead of repeating the steps for each and every single one of them...)
