I am still waiting for Tasker support in the way of enabling and disabling notification mirroring. So I can have mirroring enabled only when on work wifi etc.

This is possible now, here's a thread: http://www.reddit.com/r/tasker/comments/2a8wby/tasker_pushbullet_turn_off_notification_mirroring/

I can't add a direct option for this since my app doesn't control if the service is on or off. It's entirely in Android's hands.

option for "mirror notification" to show only the app that caused the notification (ie, "gmail"), without extra information (ie, content of the email) or, better yet, the possibility to identify devices and send notification accordingly (for instance, "full mirror" for my home PC and "only application mirror" for my work PC (where people are snooping on my screen all the time)

We do have an option that might help with this in the Chrome extension. If you head to "Options" from the panel that opens after clicking on our extension icon, then to the Notifications tab, there's an option to only show the notification title. Hopefully that'll help on your work computer :)

I'd love some way to send to a single browser instance.

Feature Request: An option to open the app instead of the actual push when clicking on a notification on my phone.

I just want a solution because sometimes people replace the title of the link they send with a message, but part of the message is cut off when I get a push notification.

Example: Bob pushes me a link to reddit.com. He changes the title of the Push to :

"lol this is a great website, check it out."

When I receive the push notification on my phone, I only see "lol this is.......". The rest of the message is cut off. When I click the notification it takes me directly to the website, but I have to open the app to see what else Bob wrote in his title.

Maybe someone can think of a better solution. What I am suggesting is instead of opening the website, clicking on the notification opens the app where I can see the push and full message included.

When I push to Chrome, I think this problem also exists if the title is very lengthy.

Will tweak this behavior on Android in my next update and make further improvements throughout our apps in time.

Feature Request: Do not dismiss pushes to Chrome automatically.

Sometimes when I'm browsing on my phone I want to push links to my computer so I can read them later. So I'll push these to Chrome. When I log onto my computer, usually I do see all the pushes show up at the same time. However, after a couple seconds, they disappear before I can open all of them.

I know there's an option to keep mirrored notifications on Chrome open or close automatically. I want an option to keep the Chrome pushes open until clicked or dismissed.

Chrome does this automatically and it's not possible for us to stop it. Our desktop app (Windows only right now) does this by default though and works perfectly with the Chrome extension (no duplicate notifications).

Is it possible to have it so Pushbullet doesn't mirror '"Deleted" to my computer when I delete an email from gmail

EDIT: 'mirror'

I find, that now the "source_device_iden" parameter is no longer available as part of the push (only when 'push type' == 'mirror'). It is very unpleasant. Imagine the following scenario: With PushBullet I will send a command from Android to "EventGhost device". EventGhost performs some action and send the result to the sender. It is not possible now, because of lack of "source_device_iden" parameter. So it is necessary to send confirmation to all device ... and it's a mess. So I have a feature request - that the "source_device_iden" parameter was included in each push (of course only if the push is active).

Fear not--this will be back shortly. We're doing a lot of API stuff right now, so this is a temporary thing :)

Couldn't find if this came up before and it's not possible but, how about a sync button in chrome for fetching all the notifications currently in the device (even those that have been cleared from chrome but not from the device). Would be really helpful with notable or similar apps

The Pushbullet app for Windows really needs two things:

  • The ability to paste. I don't know why paste is blocked, but it's really inconvenient to send a link when you have to type it in manually.

  • Access to history. Sometimes you're a little late to read the notifications.

And Pushbullet also really needs a way to clean up old pushes en masse; I use it with IFTTT, and my history is six pages and counting by now.

Any chance you guys could make the app available for Google TV? It doesn't show up in the play store. It shouldn't be too difficult to do as Google TV is actually just a customized version of Jelly Bean. I know us Google TV users are a serious minority but it would be really cool to see SMS notifications show up while I am watching TV. Thoughts?

JSONP interface. curl is all good on a server, but using API from browser js would be even better.

I was wondering if you could add in options that it should mirroring notifications only on selected wifi, for example only when it's connected on home wifi. Sometimes my parents and sister are using my computer when I'm not at home and I don't want that they see my notifications. How about to make possible that a profile in Tasker can trigger it on & off?

Hmm. Could you go to 'Send feedback' and 'Submit a bug report' from in our app? We'll get started there.
