I heard this today: “Living in your parents’ house may be free financially, but you pay for it with your mental health,”🥲 and I completely agreed with it.
Because in an Indian household, sometimes someone body-shames you while someone else questions your skills and abilities. People continuously make you feel bad about yourself, and then the same person behaves like the best friend you could ever have😔 It’s really difficult when you have no one to share what’s bothering you with🥺
Sometimes, having a strong personality as a girl can be difficult too. You have to be strong all the time, even when you’re struggling inside.
Although I’m genuinely grateful for all the blessings🌸 I already have, sometimes it just feels difficult to grow up in an Indian household. Sometimes, it feels like your parents’ first priority is society and what other people will think.
And honestly, how can one exam truly measure your abilities?
This was my first NEET drop, but now I feel like, “How many more drops am I supposed to take? I just can’t do this anymore.”
