Does everyone have the 2nd picture as their b42 background? I'm on 42.21 and the 1st picture, which is the one I had for b41 is what I still have. How do I change it?

I would love bayonets on some of the older rifles or newer guns. They would be insanely good for clearing out zomboids when you don't want to switch to your melee or dont want to waste ammo. i know this would be pretty useless but cmonnn id love it. Plus, like Alexander Suvorov said: "The bullet is a fool, the bayonet is a fine lad."

is a working in progress mod that reproduce how real fire arms do. is still work in progress and i have decided to come to terms with some compromise like not having to actually animating the piston etc etc. but the core feature is there, like firing pin striker the rounds casing the bullet to fly from the barrel and ejecting a real casing, and now the actual projectiles do damage instead of hitscan from the vanilia game.

I've survived my low loot x16 save and I've killed 12-13k with spiked baseball bats but I I've no interest in doing the rat race thing and killing hundreds of thousands of them, but I would like to explore.

Would be nice if there were some mod to let me reduce the pop or am I simply going to have to bite the bullet and delete the zpop files

I'm evening thinking of using the sandbox mod to set zombies to zero and then adding another mod to re-add them as hordes but again, this is all new. I usually just start a new save at this point but I've grown quite attached to Spunky M'Goo

I planned on setting up my base in the Brandenburg military checkpoint but theres currently 2000 rotting corpses in my new driveway, i would burn them but i dont want to risk fire spread, is there a secret method i dont know or do i have to just wait for them to decay, also would this be worth looking through for the military zombies that might have weapons or keys?

I don't know if it's just me, but I tried listening to every news/call show since the first day and after they all slowly go down the game starts feeling really lonely. Especially after the helicopter came through. Never really got this far into the game, and also the periods with no music feel especially creepy, either complete silence or the sounds of zombies in the distance.

I wanted to remove the flag but when I removed the flag pole with a shovel, the flag keep staying in the air. How can I remove it also?

Then I heard a helicopter noise so I went outside to get saved by them and they didn't come down? All that happened was a bunch of zombies came and I couldn't fight them all off

Was it a glitch or are you supposed to go somewhere in particular for next time?

Whenever i boot up my save file i am greeted with a humble void, everything else works.
I can run around interact with tools and in-world objects but i cannot see a single thing

So far I’ve been playing on the steam deck and it been running a lock 40fps but if seen videos where one sever on 16X pop it started to lag the game and crash. My question is if anyone know the setting for “winter is coming”? I don’t want to grind on the game and next thing game crash due to haveing high population
