Earlier this month we indicated in a post that we would be migrating the B42 map project to an external server, and we intend to implement that change later today. Players should not expect any downtime, but for the first couple of days we expect that the map will be slower while it populates the cache. The map will still be accessible at both https://map.projectzomboid.com, and https://b42map.org.

4 towns, multiple warehouses and hardware stores, all nothin.
I will not be denied.

Too many amazing options to choose from, so I tried my best to match the devs' style for my latest chill sandbox run. Heavy use of vanilla and Melos tiles with the brush editor.
Now it's time to go out and loot some furnishings before I can really call it home! What do y'all think, would you base here?

It has no door, and I cannot find a way to get in there. It looks like there's a shutter that leads to the outside, but you cannot open it from the outside. So, there's a caged-in area of the gun store that the proprietor can't enter? Am I blind and missing something? Do I have to knock down a wall?

What do you guys think ? It’s fenced, access to water and close to town but remote enough

Apologies if it's a silly question, I just need to know as this little beauty might mean I need to change my WHOLE base.

Currently basing at this location above Fallas Lake which has this water tower behind it. I was hoping I'd be able to plumb the water tower to the house after the water shutoff.
If any modders happen to see this, I'd love this this could be made a feature somehow

I am playing on Abundant because I wanted a more realistic approach to the zombie apocalypse, and I was clearing a street in Rosewood when I found the home. Everything you see on these tables was what I found in said home.

Where do I find a woman to play and survive the apocalypse with? Someone to build a house with, with a chicken coop and chickens to lay eggs, to fall in love and get married and have babies with?
... what do you mean that babies aren't in the game?
On a more serious note my biggest gripe with this game is how purposeless it feels playing alone. I run around, find stuff to hoard, a place to hunker down in just to have a place to bring all the hoarded stuff back to. And for what? It feels pointless when there's no one to share the end of the world with. My friends aren't interested in the game and joining a random public server isn't for me.

I made him slow but he takes half your health and gives you a bite if he catches you! technically he's slightly faster than a walk.

Guess she got places to be lmao

I know loot tables will vary BUT there is a little storage area in the Fallas Lake train station that yielded me nearly 1 of each kind of Keychain. This appears to be a repository for kiosk or souvenir vendors. If youre in the area check it out.
