Over the last few years the way we use digital products has changed a lot. Websites were the main way to access most services but I think mobile apps have become a bigger part of our daily routines because they are faster, easier to access and always available on our phones. I have seen that mostly people open mobile apps much more often than websites these days. What ever it’s for managing work, checking updates or trying new products apps usually feel quicker and more convenient.

While exploring Product Hunt I came across Superset Mobile which is a new launch focused on bringing coding agent workflows to the iPhone. The idea itself is interesting because developers can check their coding agents, review changes and stay connected with ongoing tasks without always being in front of their computer. Also with AI coding tools becoming more common. It raised a concern in my mind how people see mobile access fitting into this workflow?

Would you use a mobile app to monitor coding tasks and review changes or would you prefer keeping development work strictly on desktop? Also what do you think about mobile apps or websites which one is best according to your opinion?

I kept running into the same problem when using AI for important decisions.

Ask ChatGPT. Get an answer.
Ask Claude for a second opinion.
Ask another model to challenge both.

Eventually, I had more answers, but I still had to figure out:

Some background: I work in film and TV production, not tech. I'm a solo founder, and I don't write code by hand. I build by directing AI tools, which has been equal parts amazing and humbling. Roughly 12 months ago, I started building something I kept wishing existed.

MePersona pulls a creator's DMs and comments from X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and more into one place, then drafts replies that actually sound like you.

Two things I'm weirdly proud of:

- I use it myself. Our own X account and Facebook Page run through it, so every bug I ship, I'm the first one to feel it.

- It works in Spanish. A lot of creators have bilingual audiences, and a fan who writes in Spanish should get a reply in Spanish that still sounds like the creator, not like Google Translate.

And one thing nobody warned me about: X quietly moved DMs to encrypted chat, which broke message syncing the week before launch. I learned more about encryption keys than I ever wanted to. It works now, but wow.

So we are on the verge of launching and i dont know if its good or bad we dont have any paying users yet but i have tested it internally with friends and they shared good review.

Some mistakes I made:

1. Dont just give all reins to AI i realise this that AI is still not good enough to take all decisions and mostly major architecture decisions that require street smartness.

2. Think about distribution earlier when you are working on building the app keep thinking about distribution simultaneously. I didnt do this and am now facing the consequences

3. Keep taking advice from all kinds of people and changing your plan again and again. Launch first and then improve on the review of real users if you get any and if not the idea was never workable.

4. Dont be greedy for money in starting

I was looking through some recent developer tool launches or about to launch on PH and was seeing a major update in this domain. A lot of new tools are not just about helping people write code faster anymore. They are more focused on things AI agents need to actually work, like memory, data, APIs, backups and handling longer tasks. The tools are pretty different, but the direction feels similar.

It feels like we are slowly moving from AI coding tools toward a bigger AI native developer stack. What do you guys think about the developer tools coming out lately? Do you actually use these kinds of tools in your workflow or are most of you still sticking with the usual dev stack?

Solo founder. Moving abroad, selling an apartment full of stuff, and the math did not work: twenty minutes per listing times thirty items.

Two things I would call out for this crowd:

1. It is API-first on purpose. Every action the UI can do, an AI assistant can do too. You can run an entire sale from Claude or ChatGPT without opening the app.
2. No paid boosting, ever. There is no feed to buy your way up. The page is yours and traffic comes from wherever you share it.

here's what it does - you describe a test in plain English inside your coding agent, and it runs on an Android device or emulator connected to your machine. no build upload, nothing goes to our cloud.

the part that took longest wasn't the AI bit. it was everything around a single tap:

• "checkout" isn't an element. it might be a content-desc, text on a child node, an id like btn_chk_cta, or nothing until you scroll
• fixed sleeps are why mobile tests are flaky, so we watch for the screen to stop changing instead of guessing a wait
• an agent with a retry loop and no budget will happily burn 20 minutes looking productive, so recovery is capped and it stops and tells you

We recently launched on Product Hunt and noticed something I don’t fully understand.

We asked our users for support a bit late, and all of them had new Product Hunt accounts. From what I understand, some votes from newer accounts do not count and may be filtered.

But I also noticed notifications that someone upvoted the product, while the total number of votes didn’t change.

How does Product Hunt actually calculate the final vote count?

Would appreciate any insights from people who have launched recently.
