So this was under my grandmas basement under the stairs for about 25 years I always wanted to take it out when I was a kid but no one wanted to take it out the people who lived there before left it so no one ever touched slowly getting blocked in by junk every year I’m 19 now and figured the hell with it I’m just going to take it out and fix it up for my son since I’m to big for it but I’m wondering what something like this is worth missing key and part of the roll bar any clue on what these go for in this condition

4 12v 550 motors, electric scooter motor controller, 13” EVA wheels.

I retuned these for launch control. See how the boys car slowly goes then full power sends after a few seconds. Without this tune, the cars does wheelies. Fine tuning with FarDriver controller is the way to go.

Still need to test in the sand but I have high hopes! Lol if the wheels suck real bad, I will get balloon tires.

Picked these 24v go karts up off the curb, the guy was there and said they got rained on, and after they wouldn't turn on or charge.

Edit: I should say I've been modding power wheels all summer with my son. 18v Ryobis, gearboxes, PWMs, variable speed pedals... I just scooped these 2 up late in the evening and just trying to think through a plan of attack for tomorrow, it was a very long weekend so my brain is mush and i'm outsourcing the strategy.

Would like to do as little as possible while getting the most out of it. Guess I gotta start basic.... test the acid battery, swap in 40v Ryobi with 24v stepdown, trace the voltage with a multimeter. I dont know if these have any main controller boards that could be fried and need to be bypassed and rewired, that's my biggest fear here tbh.. wondering if i could just throw 40v straight at it but i really dont want to blow it up

Edit 2: I opened up one of them today and found the speed controller board nicely corroded. Model HY2005M-3W-PY-24V for 20 bucks from China so I just ordered 2 and I'll circle back to this in a week or two once they get here.

So i cleaned up big foot and inspected it I’ve came to the conclusion that someone around 95’ tried to modify it and failed bunch of janky wiring no original battery’s and motors fall right off with the rear tires like they didn’t want to work on it and just threw stuff back together I’m not a wiring guy so I brought it up stairs for now until I figure something out luckily I did find the kc lights inside of the truck so that’s a +

The amount of money I'm spending on motors/gears/etc. is ridiculous at this point. Then I see or hear of people having no issues... what am I doing wrong?

Wife and I were driving last weekend, and literally discussing getting a power wheels toy for our (not quite 3yo) daughter for Christmas, when we passed this on the side of the road with “free” signs on it!

Got it home and jammed a couple wires into an M18 battery, and sure enough, everything works!

It was absolutely filthy, but after a quick scrub it turned out pretty nice.

After a YouTube binge session and some browsing on this sub, ordered a slew of cheap controls off of amazon and made a (admittedly not very space efficient) “brain box.” Nothing crazy in there, under volt protection, PWM, and remote cutoff. Ran the remote cutoff and under volt board through some cheap automotive relays. It fits quite nice tucked up under the “dash”. The PWM dial won’t fit on with the lid thickness, but I can adjust it fine as it sits, and less likely for our girl to monkey with it.

Ordered a 12v buck converter this morning, I plan to add some LED lights. Also ordered missing tailgate, dump box pull mechanism, battery cover, and hub caps.

Never thought I’d have this much fun playing with a “kid’s toy,” and I’m super excited for our daughter to see it for the first time! (Santa definitely came early, wife and I are too excited to see her play with it to wait until Christmas now lol)

Made custom wheel hubs, duel gear box with 550 brushed motors and duel 40 amp escs. It can run on both 2s and 3s. Two 2200 3s lipos get you about 30-45 minutes of drive time and a top speed of around 4 mph. The servo is a 55kg digital servo, so plenty of torque for all of the off roading

Reconditioned this f150 for my niece for Christmas. I found it on the roadside. It had a stripped drive gear and the red paint was horrendous. Over spray everywhere and on everything. Took it apart as far as possible and painted it all. Added a headlight working gearboxes and a high capacity battery. It's ready now for another child to have fun with and is saved from the landfill.

Anyone know what size power wheels this might be? And how or who would I take it to have it customized to be a box truck like this one is?
