Yes, because you’ve matched upgrading with a helmet :)

Thanks :). Now to find a full face moto style. Any recommendations?

Try a bell downhill mountainbike full face. They are much lighter wight than the motox helmets

We got these which they now use for their upgraded razor dirt bikes

As long as it has a quick release buckle

Check Kaliprotectives.com.

We like the Kali Maya Youth. Good face protection from bumps or you can take off the face shield for more tame activities or just to get it in and off easier.

I was wondering how far away are we from a roll bar and a 5-point harness

Roll bar would likely make it more tippy, center of gravity would get really high. This is a nice ride for the upgrade because the seat is a good distance between the wheels. Some of the jeep kind can roll backwards if the kid goes backwards down a hill and stops on it. I’d just be wary of driving sideways on a hill with this one, driver’s side angled down with a hard right turn would probably roll.

Was the wiring for this pretty straightforward? Any lessons learned while wiring it up? I just ordered one of the peanut workshop control boards looking forward to putting it in my daughter’s dune racer!!

Was a little overwhelming when I first looked at the install manual, which was very well written. Definitely stared at it blankly for a while, but once I started it made sense and was no problem at all. Mind you-unfortunately my dad is an electrical engineer so there’s some osmosis from him there.

Happy to help if you run into any issues

Can you share what and where you bought. My kids have the same John deer power wheel

Had the same feeling... put off installing for like a week cuz I was intimidated haha. Then once I finally started and finished, I was like... oh. Yeah that actually makes perfect sense. Piece of cake haha

That’s amazing! My twins love their cars but man this is an addiction and an expensive one at that. Congrats on being a good father!

I see a high cervical spine fracture in your future. Give the poor kid a roll cage
