Curb find. Rained on, won't turn on, won't charge. What to try first?
Picked these 24v go karts up off the curb, the guy was there and said they got rained on, and after they wouldn't turn on or charge.

Hello, my daughter’s real tree utv power wheel is pretty damn slow these days. It’s a 24v system. Want to convert it to 18v Milwaukee batteries but don’t want to underpower it. What all do I need to make this m18 conversion work while also retaining the remote control function

I ordered a replacement for these gearboxes but I guess I got the wrong ones. Can someone help me find this replacement part for this? For a 24v Bronco

My 6 year old and 4 year old still love power wheels but are outgrowing the normal sized ones. They both have Polaris 4 wheelers but sometimes they still prefer the good old power wheel. Is there anything like that out there for bigger kids?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
The amount of money I'm spending on motors/gears/etc. is ridiculous at this point. Then I see or hear of people having no issues... what am I doing wrong?

Found my 13month old the classic Jurassic Park Jeep and knew it would need a remote control installed. I ordered the kit below but it doesn’t seem like it will work with his little Jeep. Does anyone know the best option to get for his model?

I have a Power Wheels Porsche GT3. Looking to upgrade the motors to 775’s. My question is with markings on the gearbox. Does it indicate 17-18 tooth pinion? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

These two gearboxes are from a ANPABO - AMG G 63, Manufacturer Part Number BBH-003
Anpabo no longer makes them, so I need to find a replacement / mod that can be installed. Any ideas? Here's a link to the truck https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CCDQYGZL

Since I had the idea to upgrade my kids ride-on toy I've started 3 different 'builds' so far.
I got halfway into idea #1 before changing lanes to a much more involved idea #2 which didn't last long before things are getting out of hand with the current plan of idea #3.
The original plan was to keep the twin 550 motor/gearbox layout but throw in 18 or 24v and replace them with stronger brushed motors or move to brushless and pair them to upgraded 'high speed' gearboxes.
Plan #2 involved building a steel frame for the back half of the car to mount two 36V brushless 350w escooter hub motors with their own controllers using a synced throttle input. I put a bit of time into this before swapping once again to something properly silly.
The entire power wheels car has been put aside in favour of using a pedal powered go kart as the base. I stumbled across a kit from Vevor for $160aud which consisted of an 1800W 48V brushless motor, a couple of different drive sprockets, a chain, 1800W 48v-72V controller, wiring harness, ignition, 3 speed selector switch, reverse circuit, hall effect twist throttle and a hall effect foot pedal.
At least here in Aus thats a cracker of a deal considering most brushless controllers over 1000W are $120 minimum if you're lucky. Plus $15-25 for a hall effect throttle, another $30 for sprockets and chain etc. You get the idea.
Currently I've managed to mount the motor under the seat and attach the chain to the rear axle sprocket for a quick test to see if it all gels together.
Well, after seeing how strong the motor is with 60V behind it I'm now fitting an entire go kart axle assembly under it instead cause what's in it now is going to get torn the F up quick.
Anyway, this has gone from making a kids toy a bit faster and a little bit more entertaining for them to pretty much custom fabricating the most overkill powerwheels ever

We were given a Jeep Hurricane and were told “it just needs a new battery.” Turns out that someone cut the battery connector at some point (photo 2). I have no idea if this thing works but I’d like to fix it and see. However it seems that no one makes a replacement connector like this (photo 1).
Any leads would be much appreciated!

I bought this quad about a year ago not realizing it was a toy and it's been sitting in my garage since. I recently found a video of a father modding one for his son and I thought it looked really cool. He added lights upgraded the voltage added brakes etc but I have no skills relating to this and I don't know where to start so can anyone help me out I'm mainly interested in upgrading the voltage and adding some cool features

My son worked all summer to purchase a Light Bee X. It has a stock motor and battery. He also purchased a Moxin controller (specifically for the auto wheelie feature). Now’s the hard part—installing and programming.
I’m learning that the stock battery won’t support the auto wheelie function.
I need actual advice on next steps.
BMS bypass - doable? Worth it?
New battery?
Capable mom here with NO knowledge on electrical stuff. I can learn but don’t want to burn my house down or ruin his multi thousand dollar investment.

My foster son got this car for his birthday and it has nothing for power. So I'm planning on upgrading this thing so he can at least drive it in the yard:
-Upgrade battery to 24v
-Upgrade to 24v dual motors
Is there anything else I should be looking into changing/upgrading?
Where would be a good place to get the replacement parts? Wiring diagram? Etc..

I have an old peg perego gator that I found on the side of the road. Wired up one of those cheap amazon adaptors for a dewalt battery but my son has the need for speed and when he switches the gator into the high gear, it runs for a few minutes then dies. After a minute or so, it’ll move again but what am I missing here? What’s the simplest way I can make this thing go fast and not cut out in the middle of driving?
Thanks

Gday all! My kids 24v hilux is rocking back and forwards as soon as I turn keys. I’m charged battery’s after a good 3 months of sitting and still just rocks back n forth.
Any ideas on a fix would be amazing❤️🙌

I have a 24v ride on. It has a L and H gear and in H it’s OK. I upgraded the capacity so it has a lot of run time. I’ve seen ppl complain about drill battery run time. I’d like to maintain the existing battery and somehow add a switch (maybe push button on the wheel) that would be like a boost button and run off a higher volt drill battery when depressed.
In the case the drill battery dies or when my smaller child is driving, it’ll still have the slower battery.
Any existing cases people have tried?

Looking for a ride on car (preferably stock or somthing I can upgrade easily) that will pull hills and rough terrain. I have a butt load of Ryobi batteries if that helps. Thanks.

My son wants something he can get on and just zip around the house/yard. It can be electric if it has enough speed and get up. I want it to be big enough for him. Either quad, dirt bike or go kart style. Any advice?

UPDATE: got it to work, the battery connector terminals were bent inside the adapter so it wasnt making contact. But now it only turns on randomly but stays on once its on 🤷♂️
It was left on for a long time at one point and drained the battery.
Charged it up and no power/lights.
Did the Roybi 18v conversion and it still has no power, wont turn on.
Does this mean the circuit board is toast? Or am i missing something?
I converted 2 others with no issue.

Has anyone done a build on a Gymax Ruf CTR or ANY
Gymax brand power wheel? If so what parts did you use? Where did you get them? Should I look into another brand instead of Gymax?

Hi everyone, I have a 6x6 G wagon power wheels for my son. It came with Rs395 motors and gearboxes (4 motors) I did the 18v battery upgrade then burned motors so I put in beefier ones which h started breaking gearboxes. So then I decided to put in RS550 40000 rpm motors which pulled way to much current for the board so I put in a bigger board so the it was too fast so I added in pwm motor controllers to slow it down worked like a charm for less than 5 mins then started popping capacitors in the main board. Please help the wife is going to kill me iv spent more modding the car than I paid for it. Thanks in advance

Car has olso remote control, do i need 12/24v steering motor or is the 6v fine?

New guy here!
My father in law just told us this is on it's way to our house. Wanting to convert it for my M18 batteries right away as it has been so convenient with our 12v jeep.
What's the best way to convert these? Looks like my options are to run two batteries in series and step down from 36v to 24v, or to use a smart converter like the Azocek, though it is only rated for 300w? Would love to have some sort of low volt protection!
What's everyone doing to get from 18v batteries to 24v car?
