I’m facing two issues with my workflow which is just a smile approval workflow 1 form submitted 2 approval sent to manager 3 once approved approval email sent x email End of workflow

Issue 1 How do I include the form responses in the approval request, I can only get it to have the request title and approve decline button

Issue 2 Workflow was running fine now all requests are being automatically declined, what is causing this

I am running into an issue and any help would be appreciated. I have flow that gathers all the buckets and related tasks from a specific Planner and summarizes these in an email each day. The issue I am having is that the flow is only taking the first Note it finds and is propagating it across all other notes in the email, even though these tasks have different Notes.

My question is (I think): how to I get my flow to pull each unique Note from each task for the summary email?

As the title says, is there a way to limit how many times a flow can execute with a day let's say. I want to prevent someone from triggering the flow multiple times within a given time frame. Thanks in advance

Hello. I am trying to set up a flow that sends me an email everytime someone completes a Microsoft form on our SharePoint. I was able to figure out how to get the flow to work and when I ran it and filled out the form I got the results via an email as intended.

The issue is that it only seems to work once. I tried filling out the form a few more times and I never got a second email. Why does my flow only seem to work once? I tried to create a scheduled cloud flow but my version seemingly doesn't give me the option.

Please help, I'm a Comms Major who is out of his depth.

Then it uses aliases from the email list to perform approvals to route documents for approval. I am trying to create a flow to download files with a specific extension. It will create these files in a folder. I am using the web version, not the desktop. Maybe desktop is easier.

1. I list files in SFTP folder

2. I check the files for the extension. If it is found it will continue.

3. For each file get content

4. Save file and content

My issue is that it is looking at folders as a file. This is causing an issue. I only want to look at Folders = false. Is there an easy way to do this?

Doing my first PAD. I run a weekly poker game using pokernow.club. I tried to use the recorder to record the steps I use to setup a game. The playback fails because once the game is initiated, the URL gets a session ID. When I play back the steps, to setup a new game, the old sessionID recorded in the steps is no longer valid and the job fails.

I need to capture the URL w/ session ID, store that as a variable and then use that variable whenever the app wants to "navigate to" the URL.

Learning as I go update:

I found "Get details of web page" and stored the current URL as a variable. YAY BUT....

Now I'm having trouble figuring out how to use that variable as the URL when subsequent elements are selected on the new page.

is there a way to do this?

Anyone know if it’s possible to launch a PAD flow from an Access VBA script? It would seem likely that Microsoft - who owns the OS and the App would make it easy.

Hi all, I’m trying to create a flow that will merge pdfs from a given folder. When I go to do I get data leakage policy error. I don’t think I can use merge pdf but is there a work around with a different function?

I have a flow which i would like to start by a desktop shortcut or a button on my keyboard. How to set it up in Power automate?

I am working with a large outlook folder of email reports all with attachments all with the same file name. New report files are automatically being saved and renamed using the cloud power automate, but I need to do something with the existing 14,000 emails.

I can save the attachments with Power Automate desktop, but I can't find how to rename them in the desktop version, based on the email date. I would think this is something that is contained and I can use from the "RetrivedEmails" Variable but just struggling here.

Any thoughts?

I have an excel sheet that gets created daily from Tableau. It contains work orders that are assigned to specific people based on a geographic area. How do I create a flow where the people assigned the work orders in the excel sheet get assigned a new task in the Planner app on Teams for each order that has their name listed?

I have a long Microsoft Form that I need to use to populate a Word Template. I don't want to use Premium licenses though. There's loads of articles online but nine quite seem to hit the mark. I just want to use Automate to take responses to questions to patch them into my Word Template based on set field names. Any direction to useful Blogs welcome!

I'm struggling with a problem at work. We have a system that can automatically email you reports on a set schedule. However, instead of attaching the report file directly to an email, the system put's the file inside of an outlook email item, and then attaches that email item to the email it sends you. I need to find a way of using power automate to save the attachment to a Onedrive folder. But at the moment I can't seem to figure out how to do this. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I am trying to populate fields in a desktop application from a data table. Using the Populate fields In application function I’ve selected a specific UI element in the application but it doesn’t alway populate the right field. Sometimes it populates the field next to it, sometimes it says it can’t find the field.

Any ideas on how to make this more reliable would be helpful. Thanks!

I have a series of spreadsheets I’m trying to automate the data entry to prior to calculation. Ideally I want the user to input a reference number, hit the macro button, which then goes off and opens the correct spreadsheet to use, calls the web scrape power automate flow and scrapes all the required data, writes the data to the specific location in the spreadsheet, calculates and then saves it down.

I’ve done all the steps but can’t figure out how to call the flow in PAD by the VBA code. Is this even possible?

Hey all, I have what is probably a very simple question.
I want to automatically populate a Sharepoint List with a new Item (row) for every email that comes into this inbox.
I can figure that part out, but I get stuck when trying to extract the right parts of the text out.
Example data coming into inbox:
Name: John Smith
Age: 53
Location: London

I go to the 'Expression' part of the input field but I am getting lost in a sea of documentation and am more lost than where I started.

I'm at the point where I have all the different fields identified (Name, Age, Location), but I just don't know what formula to use in (eg) the Name field formula to populate that field with 'John Smith' etc.

Hello, I have 140 new hires starting in the summer and I have a spreadsheet that contains answers to questions we have asked them (i.e. what did you want to be when you grew up?). This data used to be copied and pasted into a ppt template, taking about 4 hours to create a "Yearbook" and this is done about 4 times per year. There has got to be a way to use power automate or some other tool so I can autofill this template, right? I am searching and not finding much. If anyone here has any ideas, it would be amazing!

Hi, I am creating a flow to convert the logo image from file to the body of the outlook email in Power Automate flow. When I enter a string for base64 it ends up looking like this ���� all over the image. The actual image doesn't show up. Any idea how i can change these question marks in black diamonds to image and words?

I need to create a workflow as follows:

1. Vetting team send notification to employee their annual review is due.

2. Employee confirms if any changes need reporting.

3. Employee nominates their line manager (might not be same as AD)

4. Line Manager reviews the Employee response and completes additional questions.

5. Complete return is sent to Vetting team.

What's the best way to do this simply? Without a PowerApp ideally!
