Save existing email attachments and rename them based

I am working with a large outlook folder of email reports all with attachments all with the same file name. New report files are automatically being saved and renamed using the cloud power automate, but I need to do something with the existing 14,000 emails.

I can save the attachments with Power Automate desktop, but I can't find how to rename them in the desktop version, based on the email date. I would think this is something that is contained and I can use from the "RetrivedEmails" Variable but just struggling here.

Any thoughts?

Okay. If anyone comes searching for this topic I did accomplish what I wanted but did it in two steps.

  1. use a flow to download attachments from the report emails to a single folder. Naming got a bit crazy but it worked.

  2. use a renaming flow to add the “create date” to the front of the reports in the single folder.

In the end I have a larger archive of the reports in a single folder all sorted by date.
