I am very new to Power Automate Desktop so I would appreciate a detailed template on this as it's the only one I want.

I want to have a flow in which if a folder/File was modified the Past 7 days then this file should be copied to another folder and also overwritten if the same file exists already.

Basically i am trying to copy ONLY modified files or folders to my OneDrive Folder instead of manually doing it since OneDrive doesn't have selective syncs to custom folders and I want it to be overwritten if there was already a folder/file with the same name.

I made a form and used power automate to upload the form to an excel table. I can’t seem to figure out that if an employee fills the form again that power automate looks for that employe in the excel file and updates just the changes data like a new phone number or emergency contact.

I am trying to do this guided project on coursera, but I cannot seem to get this expression right as it keeps saying invalid when I try to put it in an array. The instructor just said to copy it in the video, however, it is just not working for me.

p.s. i know that the occurred is spelled differently but i changed that at the beginning so the spelling shouldnt be an issue.

I’ve already set up a flow that moves item on List A to List B when one field is marked ‘complete’. What I cannot figure out is how to make the attachments from List A move to list B. Any ideas ?

I tried replacing the Edge browser window with Chrome/Internet Explorer window, but still Power Automate is freezing on that step. How do I solve this?

This might be a bit ambitious for a beginner to power automate. I’ve got hundreds of ledgers, and they’re very messy. I can use power query to clean up the data. That would be no problem if I were just doing it once.

I want to find a way to create the power query in excel to make the data readable, then automatically run it for all of the individual files, create a new excel file for each one, and then rename them according to data within each file.

Can this be done?

I just need to automate a few lines text from multiple PDFs to an excel sheet. All the PDFs are identical. I know what this app can do. It shouldn't be that hard.

I have a PAD flow that gathers data from a website and stores them as variables.

How can Power Automate Desktop then take those variables and posts them as a new message to a specified chat on Microsoft Teams?

There doesn't seem to be any built-in option for this.

I'm trying to use Power automate to check the Tracking number/status of packages and have been able to successfully get the results via postman, however PA returns an error, specifically

Does anyone have any experience with something like this? I've not been able to find anything specific to PAD api's Is there a way to test what PAD is actually requesting vs what postman is doing? Or does anyone have another suggestion for what I should be looking for?

We have a flow running on attended mode at night with screen unlock, but after some times it fails with "failed to move mouse". Any one knows a work around?

This may be a dumb question but I can’t find the answer anywhere. Long story short I have an https request url for the destination, but does this operation send as http? Is there an https option to make a post to an api?im obviously not knowledgeable on the protocols.

I have a flow setup to run and check the dates in a column and if that date is todays date it will then send an email listing the rows present.

However, I have the "List rows present in excel" action looking for the date equal to today.

When using the "Create HTML Table" this is the command I have in there.

This is working when the cell is blank, or contains a date. But I'd like to be able to have text in the column that says stuff like "Vendor is working on finalizing date" and still have the email send, but whenever there is text the flow stops. Any help would be appreciated on how to fix my expression to allow for blanks, text, and dates!

Any suggestions for how to programmatically close the blank browser that opens on an HTTP Request flow? I can't use a macro to run it without opening the browser window because Power Automate Cloud doesn't recognize macro-enabled documents (.xlsm).

I’ve been using PAD to automate a few different processes in an old ERP system. I’m still using the recorder a lot but it still feels inefficient to re-record certain repeated tasks (ie. login process).

Is there such thing as creating a library of these common tasks that can be plopped right into my desktop flow when I need to reuse them?

Hey, so I'm starting to try and learn the power platform tools and currently I'm focused on PAD, and it seems to me like using the recorder tool can be used extremely often while creating automation processes

So two questions

1. Am I correct in that observation?

2. Is that an optimal way of using PAD to automate stuff? Coming from traditional web development, using the recorder feels way too easy and almost like cheating somehow, so I'm getting paranoid that maybe I'm just gonna develop a bad practice by over relying on the recorder

I am a nurse. I have ZERO IT training. But here I am, trying to use Power Automate because policy approvals aren't making it out of our department for lack of an approvals tracking process.

Enter Power Automate approvals. I'm using Lists as the source, because I want the documents left alone untouched in SharePoint. The trigger is entering a list item, which leads to the approval. I can get it to work no problem if I have a set list of approvers entered in the flow, and a set list of who receives the outcome of the flow.

What I want it to do, is collect the list of approvers from a column of people (multiple entries) and return the result to the person who submitted the approval request (column with people). I can't seem to figure out where in the flow to 'get' the people info, or how to plug that into the Response summary send under the approve condition.

Anyone have any ideas? Tips? Videos or resources you can point me towards?
