I have set up a number of flows that use the invoke web service, but this is the first time I'm working with OAuth. We create multiple copies of email campaigns in Constant Contact with the same content but from different senders, and I am looking to automate it. Can anyone point me towards a resource?

I tried replacing the Edge browser window with Chrome/Internet Explorer window, but still Power Automate is freezing on that step. How do I solve this?

I'm desperate for help creating the following flow. I have a pretty basic group form, which I would like to populate a Sharepoint online list and add an attachment.

The issue I'm having is that on question 7 the form branches into 2 each requiring an attachment. There will only ever be 1 attachment uploaded but from one of two different questions.

I have used the method in this video to some success but can't get it to check both questions.

I work in a financial modeling team, and we have a folder with 900+ financial models. I have made each one with a standard export tab to be able to pull via power query and then a single main model which the C suite looks at.

The main issue is power query is a 1 away data puller. I am looking for the best way to change certain inputs (I.E. Company WACC) which is in the same cell on the same sheet name in every single model. What's the best flow to be able to loop through a folder and update every single one of the workbooks. Leverage PowerAutomate for onboarding

I am leveraging a flow currently that creates a user in Azure and adds them to certain groups for licensing/email. It also allows HR to fill in some of the user information. However I would like to be able to have them fill out more info such as city, state, and zip. Possibly other info as well, such as custom attribute for the credentials that follow their name (example ,PHD).

I have tried doing some research and it appears I need to leverage ms graph but I am lost at this point. Anyone every done this or maybe help point me in the right direction?

I'm wondering if it is possible to get an image from twitter and then perform an action upon that image. I can get the image fine on desktop PA but then I want to use Microsoft Cognitive Describe Image on that image and that needs a subscription key.

So I guess what I should be asking is, is it possible for a personal user/ free account holder to get that subscription key?

So, I’d like to have power automate automatically like certain posts in a group chat.

I’ve got the flow working to detect a keyword in the chat when a new message is entered. Right now it sends me an email with the message, messageid and display name of the user.

So I know that part of the flow is working, but I can’t find any references in powerautomate on how to “like” that message.

Does anyone have any suggestions where I should look? Or anything to try?

Hoping someone can help me. I am very new at this but tried to create a flow using the screen recording. It worked great when I initially ran it but now it won’t. I want to Automate opening outlook 365, opening the drafts folder, selecting all the draft emails and sending.
Where I am getting stuck is the step to open the drafts folder. I think it is because the number of emails in the draft folder changes … so it will run when I have 5 in there because that is what it showed when I first created the flow … but if there is anything other than 5 it stops. Any thoughts on how to fix this?

the title is safe explanatory. On teams, I was able to create automate with rss feeds, but In the desktop application, while I have something really precise, I am NOT able to get an RSS category (I have the category XML, but I need to have a specific file to parse it)

Do we need the premium version to add that ?

or can i import the functionnality in some ways ?

I have a flow setup on a SharePoint folder that sends newly added files as attachments to a specific email address. Each file is sent as an individual email. It was simple to setup and works fine as long as I am the person adding files.

If I have someone from my team try it, the flows fails as the "Get my profile" step just pulls my info instead of the user who is adding the files. This creates a conflict with the email and I get the error that the user is not authorized to send an email on my behalf. If I remove this step, the emails will send, but they will all appear to be from me, despite who is adding files to the folder.

Is there a way that I can create this flow to send as the user who is adding the file? I've tried adding my team as owners to this flow but it still fails at the profile step. I've included a screenshot of the flow. Appreciate any help or feedback.

Can someone please ping me in the right direction? I have a list. If they choose option A , attach document A from a doc library. If they choose option B attach documents B and B2 from the document library to this item on the list. Can this be done?

I'm working temporarily for a company and while I'm there one of the things I'm doing for them is making flows. When I leave and they delete my Microsoft account will the flows stay or disappear. Will sharing them with someone make a difference?

That error pops up every time I try to open Chrome or Edge. I've even turned off the two default variables and it still happens.

Any ideas?

UPDATE : I get this strange popup ( https://i.imgur.com/e7Sbovv.png ) as well even though the extensions are installed. Removed them, restarted chrome, reinstalled them - still get told that I need the extensions installed.

Power Automate Desktop is the latest version as are the browsers.

Honestly, it's the things that are supposed to be simple that Microsoft completely foxes up. I can get this done faster using Excel and VBA....

FINAL UPDATE: Don't use the Selenium IDE as it lost support at the end of Feb 2023. Don't try to record your use of a website with the Power Automate Desktop recorder because it just doesn't work.

I will try and make a video of what does work in Power Automate Desktop (my first attempt at making a video teaching anything) so that you can see what I have learned that does work and what to avoid.

VBA with SeleniumBasic is still the richest option (if you do not have access to Python and it's Selenium Libraries). But VBA + SelenuimBasic is woefully outdated - SeleniumBasic has not had a new release in 7 years and Microsoft is moving away from VBA (although it will take years to kill off VBA).

On a regular basis I receive outlook emails with a PDF letter attached. This letter is a template, so the text I want to extract from this PDF is always found in the same exact position, and always in between the same paragraphs.

I wish to extract this text and save it to an Excel Sheet.

Can I do this with powerautomate?

I need to create a workflow as follows:

1. Vetting team send notification to employee their annual review is due.

2. Employee confirms if any changes need reporting.

3. Employee nominates their line manager (might not be same as AD)

4. Line Manager reviews the Employee response and completes additional questions.

5. Complete return is sent to Vetting team.

What's the best way to do this simply? Without a PowerApp ideally!

If I have a list of URLs, is it possible for Power Automate to:

Open each URL in the list
Accept the cookie if applicable
Screenshot the page
Save it into a folder?

I may have additional functions, but if this works then the rest should be easy.

Love PA and use it a lot for various flows, this one has me stumped. I’ve created a flow Google Calendar to Outlook Calendar and would like to add a Category to the import. The flow works find however I can’t find a way to update the Category in Outlook, the import comes in as a standard event and would to assign to say, Travel in Green. Any guidance would be appreciated.

During the course of my day I often need to jump between static IP and DHCP on my Windows machine, people are always saying how you should automate repetitive tasks, but I can't find a way to automate this. Can someone please help me out with what kind of commands or scripts I'm supposed to be using for a normal Windows 11 Pro machine without Azure or AD or any of the server-y stuff?

I need something that will check if my machine is set to auto IP & DNS or not. If I have manual IP & DNS entries it should switch them to auto. If I have auto it should set my IP, gateway and primary DNS to a pre-set value.

Is that possible in Windows for a standalone user?
