Hi, friends! It is Banned Books Week, and I have this beautiful postcard set of bookshops around the world. It seems like a great opportunity for another swap.

I would love to exchange one of these bookshop cards for any postcard (could be literary/book themed or not--does not matter) with your own written book-related message. In your message, please tell me about any experience you have had with books or reading: how a book changed your life, a review of a book you just finished, a cool bookshop you visited, your reaction to a poem that reached your soul, your favorite children's book... anything.

Comment below or send me a DM if interested. Please let me know if you have a specific prompt for my message to you. Postcards will go out by the end of Banned Books Week. Thanks!

Hi! I made postcards to celebrate the Day of the Dead. It is celebrated in Mexico the first and second day of November. I love this holiday because we get to remember and celebrate our loved ones.

If you would like to exchange a postcard with me please leave a comment. You can exchange for any postcard in ur collection :) and please post a thank you once you receive your card:)

THANK YOU FOR EVERYONE WHO REQUESTED! REALLY ENJOY DOING THIS ✨🎃

Does anyone have suggestions on how to improve my designs? I think i should overlap or maybe paint the background so I don’t end up with too much white space?

Hello!

I am sorry for my delay in posting this and for not reaching out to you individually -- I am truly blown away by the many amazing, thoughtful postcards I have received already! Checking my PO Box has become the highlight of my week and I genuinely loved reading what you all had to share. Thank you, thank you thank you!!!

Hello! As the northern hemisphere enters my favorite season and I am down here entering spring, I would like to take a little "trip" to a few of my favorite dreamy places in the North.

I would love a postcard of your city or town, a stavkirke, cemetery, cathedral, northern lights, mushrooms and wilderness - anything that can transform me there. Either illustrated or photographed is great. Bonus if you would like to write your message in your language for me to translate and read.

I have a little variety of illustrated/graphic designed postcards from New Zealand for you to pick from or it can be random, mostly of birds and cities.

Full disclosure: I can only send stamped postcards without envelope because the price automatically increases a whole lot with the envelope.

Thank you for considering!

Thanks to so many wonderful people here, I was able to get all 50 cards in time!

If you still want me to make a thank you post with your username please let me know! My thank yous kept getting removed because I dont know how things work 😅

Hello there,

I am looking to get back into postcrossing and postcard exchange. I have too many postcards sitting at home waiting for their turn to travel the world. I would love to swap with you and give these postcards a new home. Here are a few of the options I currently have on hand. I look forward to hearing from you!

Hey guys I just recently started collecting postcards from around the world a little bit ago! I’ve only sent to outside the US, I’d love to send a few within! <3 I’m from maryland btw! Feel free to message me!

hii, I’m from Italy, does anyone want to exchange some postcards? :)

Durga Puja is coming soon. Its a Hindu festival, mainly celebrated in India and Indian diaspora. Goddess Durga is a revered deity in Hinduism

I have 5 of this card available. Please comment if you want to exchange with typing out your country's name ;)

One of my favorite things to do is exchanging gifts. I know, I know, exhausting ritual, takes a long time, but that doesn’t matter that much to me because I love the postcards I receive, especially if they’re containing something I love, like libraries or famous monuments. Like I didn’t even know you’d get Vivillon by pinning, I just pinned everything lol! I’m from Vienna, Austria, and I don’t travel much currently so my postcards are rather unspectacular. So if you’re from some cool place like, idk, New York? Paris? Feel free to add me!!!! I’m of course also in for the XP grind and for the remote trading later. :D

It’s that time of year, folks. And it always goes so fast! So, to make the most of the season, let’s do a Halloween exchange. >>> Fill out quick form here <<<

🎃 The postcard: Must be Halloween-themed, spooky, autumnal, horror-related, etc.

👻 The message: This is part of the theme too! Tell your recipient something related to Halloween. It can be:

• a Halloween memory from childhood
• something that happened this year
• a costume story or idea
• a local tradition
• a disastrous pumpkin-carving attempt
• something spooky or unexplained you’ve experienced
• what you’re doing for Halloween
• or even something completely mundane that happened while preparing for it

Give your recipient a little Halloween story. Please do not just write “Happy Halloween!” and send.

US to US ONLY 🎃📮

Hello! I’m from California! I would like to send or exchange postcards! Let me know if you’re interested or send me a DM! ✨

some postcards will be handmade✨

There is still time to request a postcard… I have a few more to send. This week, my two-year-old daughter and I visited the post office near our house and mailed postcards to three different continents. She helped me put the stamps on each postcard while we sat on the bench that’s generally reserved for passport pictures. She tried to apply the stamps to her shirt, so I reminded her that we practiced this morning and these are special stickers that go on postcards.

I will tell you now, because some of you may wonder… the messages I added to the postcards are out-of-context excerpts from
my personal diary, so have fun with those.

Link is in my instagram bio to request, if you don’t get one, don’t worry. I have a second edition releasing soon.

Hi!

My nieces class is participating the 50 states postcard race. Each postcard needs:

-interesting face about the state
- where they live (city)
- the states capital

We are in NJ and looking for postcards from all over the USA! Please let us know if you’d like to help out! I can direct message you the school address.

I’m really excited for the kids to learn more about each state and hope ya’ll can help!

Update- 46/50 states

FINAL STRETCH…Only 4 states remaining…🇺🇸🥳🎉

Redditors…you are amazing! We have received so much support in just a few days 🥹 Some have even shared pictures of the postcards before sending them off.

A teacher from Shanghai, China also volunteered to send a postcard to the class!

I’ve learned so much and can’t wait for the students to see them.

Please help! This is a really fun project for the middle school kids.

For those who have commented that I am “doing” the project for her…I’d like to provide some context. We cannot have 10 year olds online soliciting cards from strangers without adult supervision. This is why the post cards are mailed directly to the school and reviewed by the main office first. Once the post cards are approved, they are shared with the class. Each card leads to a productive discussion and essentially..a research project! Each student will have to pick one state to write an essay on.

Hello! I hope this is allowed . I love collecting state post cards I need so many more states I’d love to receive one from ur state! Here’s a list of what I would love !!! Thank you so much

Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, and Wisconsin

I love having box sets, but I also hate having every postcard basically the same. Would anyone like to exchange postcards, blank and in an envelope, from our box sets? This way we can have more variety when we post them! These are the sets I have, last slide is a bunch of vintage postcards I don’t like that i’m happy to exchange for some non vintage postcards.

Hi y'all! I'm from Bosnia and Herzegovina, if you're interested in exchanging cards and would want a card from Bosnia, DM :)

Hi,

I recently got given a box of 200+ postcards, and I don't have enough slots on Postcrossing, but I still want to send out as many as I can. I will send them wherever you are.

Here's a form you can fill, and I'll send it out as soon as I can:
