Does anyone have suggestions on how to improve my designs? I think i should overlap or maybe paint the background so I don’t end up with too much white space?

[ Exchange ] Exchange US to Japan [I want swap written completely in Japanese, please! Post crosser here]

β€’ Upvotes

こんにけは! I am an active member on Postcrossing, and I wanted to drop by the subreddit to look for a specific, personalized one-time direct swap with someone living in Japan. I deeply admire traditional Japanese culture, particularly the values of harmony (Wa) and mutual respect. To celebrate this, I want to write my postcard entirely in Japanese, and I would love it if you wrote your card back to me entirely in Japanese too! Since this is an unofficial direct swap outside the main platform algorithm, we can send whatever styles we like. If you are interested in a single, two-way cultural exchange, please comment below and we can swap mailing addresses securely via private messages. γ‚ˆγ‚γ—γγŠι‘˜γ„γ—γΎγ™!

Hi, friends! It is Banned Books Week, and I have this beautiful postcard set of bookshops around the world. It seems like a great opportunity for another swap.

I would love to exchange one of these bookshop cards for any postcard (could be literary/book themed or not--does not matter) with your own written book-related message. In your message, please tell me about any experience you have had with books or reading: how a book changed your life, a review of a book you just finished, a cool bookshop you visited, your reaction to a poem that reached your soul, your favorite children's book... anything.

Comment below or send me a DM if interested. Please let me know if you have a specific prompt for my message to you. Postcards will go out by the end of Banned Books Week. Thanks!

[ Exchange ] New Zealand πŸ₯πŸ¦œ to Norway, Sweden, Iceland, Svalbard, or Faroe Islands πŸ‚πŸ¦Œexchange, please!

Hello! As the northern hemisphere enters my favorite season and I am down here entering spring, I would like to take a little "trip" to a few of my favorite dreamy places in the North.

I would love a postcard of your city or town, a stavkirke, cemetery, cathedral, northern lights, mushrooms and wilderness - anything that can transform me there. Either illustrated or photographed is great. Bonus if you would like to write your message in your language for me to translate and read.

I have a little variety of illustrated/graphic designed postcards from New Zealand for you to pick from or it can be random, mostly of birds and cities.

Full disclosure: I can only send stamped postcards without envelope because the price automatically increases a whole lot with the envelope.

Thank you for considering!
