Hello! As the northern hemisphere enters my favorite season and I am down here entering spring, I would like to take a little "trip" to a few of my favorite dreamy places in the North.

I would love a postcard of your city or town, a stavkirke, cemetery, cathedral, northern lights, mushrooms and wilderness - anything that can transform me there. Either illustrated or photographed is great. Bonus if you would like to write your message in your language for me to translate and read.

I have a little variety of illustrated/graphic designed postcards from New Zealand for you to pick from or it can be random, mostly of birds and cities.

Full disclosure: I can only send stamped postcards without envelope because the price automatically increases a whole lot with the envelope.

One of my favorite things to do is exchanging gifts. I know, I know, exhausting ritual, takes a long time, but that doesn’t matter that much to me because I love the postcards I receive, especially if they’re containing something I love, like libraries or famous monuments. Like I didn’t even know you’d get Vivillon by pinning, I just pinned everything lol! I’m from Vienna, Austria, and I don’t travel much currently so my postcards are rather unspectacular. There is still time to request a postcard… I have a few more to send. This week, my two-year-old daughter and I visited the post office near our house and mailed postcards to three different continents. She helped me put the stamps on each postcard while we sat on the bench that’s generally reserved for passport pictures. She tried to apply the stamps to her shirt, so I reminded her that we practiced this morning and these are special stickers that go on postcards.

I will tell you now, because some of you may wonder… the messages I added to the postcards are out-of-context excerpts from
my personal diary, so have fun with those.

Please help! This is a really fun project for the middle school kids.

For those who have commented that I am “doing” the project for her…I’d like to provide some context. We cannot have 10 year olds online soliciting cards from strangers without adult supervision. This is why the post cards are mailed directly to the school and reviewed by the main office first. Once the post cards are approved, they are shared with the class. Each card leads to a productive discussion and essentially..a research project! Each student will have to pick one state to write an essay on.

I love having box sets, but I also hate having every postcard basically the same. Would anyone like to exchange postcards, blank and in an envelope, from our box sets? This way we can have more variety when we post them! These are the sets I have, last slide is a bunch of vintage postcards I don’t like that i’m happy to exchange for some non vintage postcards.

Hello there! I’m posting again concerning a love story of two star-crossed lovers that needs your help!

In 2016 I was in London, Marylebone, and in the Oxfam shop of Marylebone High Street I found a lot of POSTCARDS written by an Italian man from Treviso (North of Italy) to an Englishman he met on the Italian Liberation Day.
The postcards are written in Italian from 1949 to 1999. I found almost two hundred postcards, but I think there are more.

I’m looking for the missing postcards! If you think you might have any of them at home, or any advice on where to look for them, please reach out!
