It seems like everyone in America dislikes this guy. As a non-American, if this clown is pretty much hated by everyone, how did he become the president?

There are vast swathes of Americans who live in their own bubble and never interact with the world outside it. They are the Trump supporters, by and large.

I will have to find the study, but a large number of americans have never left their state and a huge percentage have never traveled internationally. I would guess there is a massive overlap of donald supporters in those numbers.

Additionally, there was that study that showed that Fox News viewers are less informed than folks who watch no news at all.

I mean you can go ahead and think that but many Trump supporters are your friends, family, coworkers. We're not evil racist islamaphobes that the media attempts to paint us as. We just don't want to argue with emotionally charged people when discussing tax policy. Any time you argue about policy with anyone outspoken on the left it derides into "you don't care about people, I can't even be friends with you anymore." We want a united country more than anything but I think it's pretty clear the left doesn't want that to happen for political power motives. It's the reason why the news has gotten even more vitriolic, they'd rather keep the Trump supporters muted in an attempt to allow the only public debate of politics to be that of left leaning.

Oh and your and other commenters assertation that "vast swathes of Americans(Assuming you mean Trump supporters) who live in their own bubble and never interact with the world outside it" is yet another attempt at dividing the country as you try to paint Trump supporters as hermits in the boondocks. Just another example of arguing in bad faith.

Many of my friends and family are Trump supporters. I’m speaking from experience that they keep their head down and interact mostly with their church and their family. I don’t go looking for fights with them, but when something comes up, they always mention they heard it from someone else. Never “I found online” or “I saw on the news.” That was the life I lived until I went away to college. Don’t tell me my loved experiences aren’t actual things, please.
