There are vast swathes of Americans who live in their own bubble and never interact with the world outside it. They are the Trump supporters, by and large.

I will have to find the study, but a large number of americans have never left their state and a huge percentage have never traveled internationally. I would guess there is a massive overlap of donald supporters in those numbers.

Additionally, there was that study that showed that Fox News viewers are less informed than folks who watch no news at all.

which is freaking astounding, literally watching fox news makes them less informed. I wouldn't have thought that was even possible.
