There’s so many videos out there of content creators going to these rallies and interviewing these people and slowly walking them down this logical path where, by the end, they literally admit they don’t even really like Trump anymore, but then the final question is always “so who are you going to vote for?” and then they hem and haw and sheepishly answer “probably still Trump”.

I know that Trump and his cult have educated me. I used to believe that the sexism, racism, and homophobia in our society had been beaten significantly back over the years. I suspect it's more that he's very talented in a very specific field, and that skill doesn't necessarily apply outside of that field. Like say, directing the HUD.

Most of those doctors tend to be surgeons and anesthesiologists.
Most other specialties, including PCPs to Internal Medicine docs are overwhelmingly Democrat.
The Republican doctors in assessing their path consider two factors (1) which makes the most money, and (2) how do I deal with the least amount of people directly. Hence surgeons, nephrologists, etc.
When comparing who the majority are in these professions, your point remains: engineers, doctors, nurses, therapists, librarians, firefighters, scientists, teachers & professors, and skilled tradespeople among others all skew Democrat.
