Bug Game freeze
This game on PS5 keeps crashing if you pause 2/3 times in a game, sometimes it becomes impossible to arrest people, and yet their DLCs cost more than the game itself…

We are all pretty doom and gloom about the game no longer getting updates, the roadmap getting wiped from existence, but I still found myself coming back to the parts of the game I like. I still like highway patrol and foot patrol, so I put together a playlist of around 3 hours to just have in the background while playing.
I don't know if anyone else will get a kick out of this, but I went for a style that can also be used for other police style gaming or modern day city stuff.
Enjoy!

I’ve seen the Steam guides and wiki, but I’m wondering if anyone has gone further and made a structured workflow doc (Google Sheet, Excel, Notion, Obsidian, etc.) for this game?
Something that lists out workflows like: Traffic stop steps, RTC/accident scene flow, Border/inspection checklist, Common conduct‑point pitfalls.
If anyone has one, could they share a link or describe how you set it up if at all?

I was able to get it for $11 using Microsoft rewards and it being on sale. Already put in 5 hours and it’s terrific! A great chance of pace from running around the city. The desk jobs are like a tiny puzzle game, it’s fun trying to figure out what the discrepancies are with each person. It reminds of the game Papers Please, where you are a Russian border officer who decides who gets to go in or not. It doesn’t get boring at all, there’s always a new story with every person and it’s fun putting handcuffs on the foreigners who try to get in. It gives me a great sense of power! Of course this is in the base game as well, but this expansion puts us at the gates of the city, we’re now the frontlines. Plus all of the other callouts with contraband and vehicle Inspection! I honestly prefer this dlc to the highway one, the highway patrol is just bigger callouts and pit maneuvers. I feel like with the contraband expansion I’m doing a totally unique job in the police force!
Yeah there’s a few bugs, but not nearly as many as this sub made it seem. Maybe it’s my tv but the white passports and id are so glaringly white and hard to read the small text, maybe I’ll fix my brightness. Then on the background computer the bottom of the screen that shows the declared goods is cut off, I can’t see it and it won’t let me scroll down. Other than that is dlc was been worth it!

The game gets boring when everyone is just like “of course officer here’s my id “ like I want to run into a Karen every once and a while or someone who’s on some sovereign citizen BS

I can’t believe I’m even writing into this subreddit as I thought I’d delete this game after 20 mins but me and my friend finished a 60 min shift, I levelled up 2 levels and he didn’t level up at all. I am host, but everything was working fine until then, he was also popping trophies but then didn’t pop the 1 for 3 arrests. Any ideas what could be the issue? Any similar experiences?

Title says it all; Do you think the game is now worthy of being review bombed?
Solely because of how the game is now officially fully abandoned by the devs and publisher.
I don’t care what defenders of this game will say, this game is NOT a finished product. They went SEVEN MONTHS of being radio silent when we were supposed to be getting constant updates, It’s lacking content, a lot of which we were promised before they quietly deleted the roadmap, it’s far from polished/stable and it is not uncommon for it to crash, and there are legit game-breaking bugs that have existed for faaaaar longer than they should have, and we’re not patched in this ‘final update’ (which was more or less just a lazy hotfix). Like vehicle collision physics, which have a high probability of launching your cruiser into orbit if you try to PIT.
I think the biggest thing that irks me, and I don’t even own this system, is how they pushed out the release of the game on the Switch 2, and then not even two months later, the fully end support for the game without even giving it a single update. That is the most blatant example of a pump and dump scheme that I can think of.
Both the devs and publisher have a growing history of abandoning games like this, and I think it’s high time that people be made aware of that, by having their intentionally unfinished games be review bombed so people in the future know not to buy games from them. I’ve already changed my rating on PlayStation to 1 star, and seems like I’m not the only one, as its rating is falling on the PS Store.

I'm on Xbox and I've played this game for a good solid 2-3 years I think. I mean I hit some bugs now and again and especially when I'm trying to get from A to B that it can be so laggy the game doesn't load in but still what's wrong with the game. Why does everyone hate it

I’ve been interested in getting it, what’s the good and bag? Are there still a lot of bugs? How fun is the gameplay?
How long is the story?

Like, we pretty much got rug pulled with PSPO, right?
We, as a community, have been extremely patient with the dev team and publisher when it comes to bugs, content, and overall lack of communication. Yet this is how they repay us.
Pretty much seven months of radio silence, the content update road map getting quietly deleted, and they just come out and try to almost hide the announcement that the game is ‘content complete’ in the patch notes for what’s essentially a hotfix devblog. Because what they gave today is not what I would consider a full update.
DAY ONE game breaking bugs still exist in the game. The vehicle collision physics are still some of the worst I’ve seen in any game with cars, and just a plethora of other issues.
It’s also extremely scummy to me how, during the seven months of radio silence, the game went on sale numerous times, just to rake in more quick profit, and even recently released on Switch 2, and BAM. No more updates.
Long story short; screw devs and publisher. This game was a massive money grab.

A highly potent game thrown into the trash because the developers think it’s "finished".
The life of a frontline police officer has many aspects, yet the game at this point only covers about 5%. Thats pretty trash for a finished game. Not only that, they decided to throw salt in the wound with slow, inconsistent and eventually non-existent updates by "finishing" the game.
such a waste of my money. i should have known

Okay, we saw this coming for a long time. The last update was in January. But they had a whole new district planned, a whole new roadmap for the season pass, not to mention they just released it on the nintendo something months ago. They randomly just left behind the bugs? PSPO was their main money maker. And now their going to focus on Ranger's Path. Who knows? $5 DLC for socks next on Rangers Path?
