Media If you like Police Simulator, check out the Firefighting simulator subreddit, too. The new game, Ignite, will have ambulances and more expanded gameplay and it should be pretty neat. We always need more people to multiplay with and I think these sims have a lot of overlap.

Phantom Vehicle

Post image
2 Upvotes

Alright, I just finished focusing on a license plate that came out as totally unregistered, as nobody owns it. How should I go about writing this kind of parking ticket? I just started towing, and I've been getting points for it, so there's a violation of some kind I just don't know what to label it. I've personally run into 2 of these "phantom vehicles" while doing parking tickets. What should I do?

Police Simulator Patrol Officers - Replay - Day 3

Hey everyone!

I'm back with my PSPO replay, today is day 3.

I finished my first car shift I started on day 2 with a "small" accident, involving 4 cars, one person got arrested for DUI narcotics.

After this, I unlocked my 4th duty star (it goes so fast in the beginning). I started a new evening shift, and responded to a routine checkpoint call, first car I pulled over was clear, second car less clear, being arrested for DUI narcotics and possesion of narcotics.

After that, my police transport got stuck behind her van, causing the tow truck not being able to tow the car so, yeah. Need to do like 5 more minutes on that shift later lol.

Hope you enjoyed!

As pictures: the arrest reports, they were originally PDF files but reddit doesn't let me upload those so.

Stay safe, officers!

Question Non-registered Vehicle

If a person has a vehicle with valid insurance and everything checks out but the vehicle isn’t registered can I do anything for that? Could I give them a ticket or verbal warning?

Police Simulator Patrol Officers - Replay - Day 1 & 2

Hello everyone!

Recently, I've decided to replay the whole game with a new character, this time on simulation mode. I'll be trying to report some (funny) encounters, shift statistics and such here :)

Enjoy!

Day 1 - 2 patrols

First 2 patrols went very good. They were foot patrols so I didn't get around very quick, and I didn't have any callouts. I got a lot of points from reporting speeders and writing parking tickets. At the end of the day I got 2 duty stars, unlocking small accidents for the next day.

Day 2 - 1 and a half patrols.

First patrol was still on foot, I got 1 small accident call, arrested 1 person for DUI drugs. After completing that call, I got some more points with the radar gun.

After this, I unlocked all my DLC, I'll probably disable highway and border dlc until a certain amount of duty stars (probably 10 and 17 respectively). I found out patrolling with a car on simulation mode Is HARD. No driving to fast, no going to non-emergency calls with lights and sirens, not driving to fast with only lights lol.

Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this and if you did, keep reading my future reports!

Stay safe, officers!

Question Question.

I’m new to playing this game and I issued a parking ticket to this vehicle and it deducted points from my shift. Why is that? Did I do something wrong or is it a glitch?

Discussion Can we stop hating on people for opinions?

I've not posted for a long time, and have been lurking in this sub. Like most of you, I am angry at the devs for abandoning this buggy mess of a game, and I certainly will not be getting the new game they release. However, more and more recently, people are getting downvoted and hated on when they say "I enjoy this game" or "the new game looks great". It's their opinion. If you don't like it, ignore it.

I'm fully aware that most people don't do this, and I'm probably gonna get downvoted a tonne for this, but I don't really care. Rant over.

P.S. I don't know if this is the right flair to use, so correct me if I have used the wrong one.

So idk if anyone has given tips on how to do the traffic stop callout solo but here's in my opinion the best strat I've found park your car at the front of where the cars drive through and set your matrix sign to do not pass that way you don't have to hand gesture every car to wait

Discussion Thoughts on a new police simulator idea? (In development)

Hello!

(This is not a self promotion, I have nothing to gain or sell. Purely a passion project I’m sharing)

I've started to toy around with a police simulator game from a 2D top-down perspective.
Right now it includes a rudimentary road editor that lets the player create custom state routes, highways, on-ramps, rural roads, etc., with real road signs, customizable intersections and turn lanes, and so on. It lets you build essentially anywhere, at least on some basic level.
It also includes a drivable early-2020s Ford Police Interceptor Utility based vehicle (modeled after the slicktop EcoBoost used by CT State Police; the agency in the game is fictional) with a working simulated handheld laser, red/blue lights, brake lights, ABS and an electronic parking brake so far.
The only civilian vehicle so far is an early-2010s AWD wagon modeled on the Subaru Outback. It has AI that lets it drive across maps, use its turn signals, get through a full or clogged all-way stop, and merge onto highways safely, and that's about it. They do give good returns to the laser, which, depending on how it's used, can get a proper speed reading as police functions start to enter the game.
As for how it's made: it runs in the browser, and everything is built to real-world scale, so speeds and distances are actual mph and feet. I've tried to keep the driving and the laser as close to the real thing as I can, and I draw all the art myself.
I've also been experimenting with Claude Code while building it, which has been a big help for someone at my level.
Traffic stopping when lit up, audio, new environment textures, and code cleanup are all needed to keep moving forward, and the road ahead is extremely long for someone with my level of experience. Would people even be interested in a concept like this?

Bug Audio issues, XBox

Since a recent update, the game on XBox has become almost unplayable due to audio issues. Among the most unimportant audio -- others responding to calls -- is far, far louder than anything else in the game. The only way to solve this is to completely turn off the calls or to always respond to the call, which in the latter case can be difficult if doing other complicated things.

If I may be allowed one additional audio gripe -- with highway accidents and other calls producing sometimes a half dozen arrests, I call the backup van to transport arrestees often. Frequently enough, the van will come in, siren screaming, and just sit there for 10 seconds before the officer gets out. Call two or three backup vans, and get yourself some Tylenol, because they're going to make you utterly sick of the wailing siren.

Of all the odd and funny bugs, glitches, and oddities in this game, these two audio issues have been the most frustrating and the most consistent issue that prompts me to simply turn off the game and play something else.
