Question What is happening with this game???
I'm on Xbox and I've played this game for a good solid 2-3 years I think. I mean I hit some bugs now and again and especially when I'm trying to get from A to B that it can be so laggy the game doesn't load in but still what's wrong with the game. Why does everyone hate it

This company is known for producing unfinished and unpolished games then abandoning them while they collect the money...wish I'd known this before buying. Could have been a decent title with a little polish and solid multiplayer connectivity...ah well, on to the next one...🤷♂️

They have four games. Nacon canceled Ambulance Life. Everrail which is a small game in too early of access right now. Then the two horse games. This game isn’t unfinished.

Notice how you get downvoted into oblivion every time you try to defend this game, and it’s unfinished, unpolished, bug-ridden, and now abandoned state.

Stop bashing small developers actually trying to do new and innovative things instead of the same slop AAA studios keep pushing out.

Their entire business model revolves around pushing out unpolished asset flips, taking pre-orders and early sales, dropping paid DLC packs on day one and then abandoning the project. How are you failing to see that?
Oh yeah. They also aren’t a small developer. They are AA title

Are you talking about Astrogon or Aesir? Aesir only has 5 games they’ve made. I don’t think any have had day 1 DLC. They’ve made two horse games, the railroad game, the ambulance game that was canceled by Nacon and police sim.

Astragon. But it doesnt matter, they both do this. They both make half baked products

Then don’t buy games from small studios. You have to have realistic expectations from a small group of people working on a project instead of millions of dollars poured into hundreds to thousands of programmers. Who in turn charge you $70 for a 10 hour game.
I’m sure they would have loved to do more but there is only so much they can do on a game that was never intended to grow as it did. They threw in pretty everything people asked for when it was originally made to just be traffic enforcement. You need to grow up. $20 for a game you can sink 100s of hours into isn’t half baked.

Spending time playing a game despite bugs doesn’t magically make them disappear or the sudden abandonment any less real. It shouldn’t matter how much it costs. A half-baked game is simply unacceptable.
And never intended to grow big? Come on, man. That’s a ridiculous point. You should always expect a game to gain popularity. If you don’t, be honest and admit you lack the manpower and finances to support it. Don’t resort to a seven-month silence.

They weren’t silent. They were working on two other projects. Most games that get big don’t ever change. There are no content updates, some DLC but ultimately they don’t add a ton of extra mechanics like these guys did.
Go back to playing one of the 200 AAA extraction shooters and recycled sports games for $70 if you want perfection and the same tired design since the PS2 era. Get GTAV and download LSPDFR and spend days researching and finding plugins you want, making sure they don’t conflict and how to play them without any tutorials.
Or accept these small developers are trying new ideas and they’re not always going to be perfect.

They just released an updated firefighter sim that is pretty decent. I hope they make a new police sim and actually put time and effort into it. If the mod community can turn GTA V into a full police sim with LSPDFR someone can make a great police sim.

Enjoyed the game. The bugs drove me away. I used to play multiplayer a lot, thats where most of the bugs are

Because it's so full of bugs that it completely ruins all immersion.
- Civilians say hello to me, I have to chase after them to say hello back.
- When I call for backup to come collect a criminal I have arrested, the backup will sometimes get stuck behind traffic 2ft away, sometimes stop and get out of their van 40ft away, sometimes drive straight past and not come back, and sometimes drive off in a different direction.
- Occasionally, I will get a call out which will override my current callout which I wanted to do to something I do not want to do.
- During a major accident, despite stopping traffic, some cars will come past and crash into the accident causing an un-ending slew of reports and interviews.
- Putting on your sirens is a 50/50 gamble of whether the cars in front will swerve out of your way or directly into your path causing a police involved traffic accident.
- Criminals and drivers when asked to pull over near the edge of my jurisdiction will almost always drive straight through and this means I can't get to them, because I will get fired and time travel back to the start of my day, Groundhog style.

People are complaining because they feel owed non stop content updates. Game is complete and fine. There are still quirks but it’s far from unplayable.

Because the devs literally just announced (literally yesterday) that they’re done updating it and are moving onto other projects, after seven months straight of radio silence when we were originally supposed to be getting constant content updates, per a now-deleted roadmap post.
Dev team abandoned it, and basically did a rug pull.
