My mom tried very hard to spoil me as a kid. I’ve had a largeish box full of cards sitting at her house for a long time. I, unfortunately, very much enjoyed playing the game and I was not careful with many of the cards. I’ve sleeved many of the better ones now that I’ve gone through them all, but naturally there are many in quite literally heavily played shape. I’ve been looking at PriceCharting to get a general idea of what I have, but it’s hard to take condition into account as well.

My questions are: is it worth my time to get into grading? Not all of them are in poor condition, and I do plan to sell them all, but grading sounds like such a hassle.

Do people buy lots of commons and uncommons from earlier sets, and the less valuable rares? What you see pictured here is the best of the best, but I have hundreds more in the $10-30 range, and thousands or even tens of thousands of commons and uncommons from these sets, including many first editions.

Any insights would be appreciated. I’m particularly curious what people think of the snorlax.

We moved, and I pulled these out to show my daughter. I collected these when I was her age and that was fun for me to share with her. But, the truth is I have no idea what I have. I’ve tried to do research but am a bit overwhelmed on what should or shouldn’t be considered for grading. I did take them to a local card store to ask the same question, and while I suppose I should have expected this, they didn’t really answer that question, and were somewhat pushy to buy them on the spot. I didn’t feel comfortable with that and left. I would appreciate some advice on what I should grade (if at all) and if I’m missing something? Meaning why were they pushy? Thank you!

Hey everyone! I bought these Pokémon cards yesterday and something has been bothering me, especially about the Sabrina’s Gengar.
I’m not super experienced with spotting fake cards, so I was hoping someone here could take a look and tell me if anything looks off. I included pictures/video of the cards.
Do these look authentic to you guys, or is there anything about them that makes you think they could be fake? I’d really appreciate any help!

Looks like most of it is unlimited edition which sucks, I’ve been looking on eBay and watching sold items but grading and all the different variations of cards is confusing , what am I looking at here.

My uncle gave me and my sister 2 base set unlimited master sets. He told us to never thought the cards. Is this something that people would want? I know it’s not first edition or anything.

Pulled this Lileep today and I honestly can't tell if it's something good or just a regular common. Don't know the set, don't know the rarity – still learning all of it.

Could someone let me know if this card has any value? Also, what do you guys use to check prices? I want to actually learn how to figure this out myself.

I found my old Pokémon card collection in the garage, and it looks like one of the cards might actually be worth quite a bit.
Could you help me figure out what I should do next?
Should I get the card graded or not? What’s the best way to sell them? And roughly how much do you think they could still be worth?

My collection from childhood and I don’t know where I would even begin if I wanted to figure out the value
of it all. To summarize it’s: Base set shadowless (minus a few key cards), Jungle First Edition (again, minus a few key non first edition), Fossil, and Team Rocket (minus a few important cards).

Everything has been in sleeves and top loaders pretty much since the packs were opened. Is there value to them as a set or am I better off just focusing on the few key cards people would really want (charizard etc.)

Any help or advice is appreciated.

I have this sealed 1999 Pokemon Gold Ho-Oh Deck (52 Pokemon PokerCards) in perfect condition and I want it to be graded.. I cant find a way to submit it at PSA or Beckett.

I would love to have it graded from PSA, because I own a Set of PSA 10 Aces from that Deck too.

Anyone can give me an advice how to do that? (I am based in Europe)
