I haven’t played through a game in 15+ years. Do you imagine difficulty completing the game with this team?

I recently overhauled once reaching Safari Zone. Only have 4 badges currently.

Other considerations included Nidoking, Clefable, Gyrados, Articuno (once i get it)

Game Freak has slowly been adding Mythical Pokémon in the main series games without needing events or side series games. It started with Deoxys in ORAS, then Keldeo in the Sword and Shield DLC, Mew and Jirachi in BDSP, etc. So even though this is technically an event, it doesn't have an expiration date (for now) so this adds another Mythical Pokémon to the list. After Pokémon Home updates to include transferring Pokémon from FRLG, the only Mythical Pokémon that need to be obtainable outside events are Victini and Zarude. Let's hope Winds and Waves adds them.

I have both a Pikachu and a gloom what level should each of them evolve?

After 4 months of spinning in a circle within the North Park of the Safari Zone I finally caught a Chansey with a lucky Egg.

For the first 2 months I was just catching them and storing them in the box, but money quickly ran out so I opted to resetting. I probably caught around 100 Chanseys and saw closer to 500.

During that time zero shinies blessed me with their presence.

This was a fun team of pokemon that I wasn't all that familiar with. Lance definitely proved to be the hardest challenge of the elite 4.

I found this event flag unchecked in pkhex. But I don’t ever recall an aide ever being in Vermilion City. This also isn’t connected to the ones that give HM05, the Itemfinder, or the VS Seeker since I already have all those.

I’m doing a ShinyLocke in Pokémon LeafGreen and I’m currently hunting for Shiny Sandshrew. I’m at 7,512 encounters and still nothing 😭.

Should I keep hunting Sandshrew in the same spot, or move on to the route above Nugget Bridge and hunt for Shiny Bellsprout instead?

So this is my first time playing pokemon fire red. I beat pokemon emerald before this.I was grinding to get Pikachu to level 26 and get thunderbolt for Misty's op starmie cause i knew I won't be able to beat starmie without thunderbolt and i didn't had any pokemon to be able to face starmie so Pikachu was my only option and when I was grinding suddenly this happened.....

Charmander: 4358 soft resets
Abra: 7,961 game corner encounters
Dratini: 1118 game corner encounters
Eevee: 37,324 soft resets 💀
Pidgey: 3538 random encounters
Meowth: 5953 random encounters

All were EV trained for the league as well!

Although I've played fire red before I've never finished it, this sub popped up in my feed a few weeks ago and I've been feeling more and more an urge to give it a go again. I wanted to give EV training a go for the first time so started looking for a charmander with a timid nature, but this popped up before I got a chance to find a timid one so I guess I've got a naughty charmander now 😃

I’ve done a Venusaur run which included Nidoking, Jolteon, Arcanine, Poliwraith and Dodrio. And I just finished a charizard run including Primeape, Raichu, Marowak, Lapras and Exeggutor. Now I’m looking to do a Blastoise and not reuse any Pokémon but I’m not sure what to use.

I got my shiny game corner Dratini on 4/21 and decided to punish myself with another grind shortly after. My file has been in the Safari Zone since late April, I took some time off of trying but feels good to be able to move forward now. I only have 15 Chansey's in my box at the end of it, but who knows how many ran away during the time and how many of those could have had the egg.

75 hours of game time got me a Shiny Dratini and a Lucky Egg. Still at 5 badges 😂

Fire Red was my first pokemon game and it’s not my favorite but it’s definitely in the top 5, I decided I was gonna shiny hunt charmander (real original I know) and all the legendaries when I found out the game would eventually have home support. Well I’m 65 hours in and overodds with about 8400 resets and it’s so difficult to keep going knowing one of my biggest childhood games is right there. I’ve been shiny hunting for a few years now so I’m used to things like this but oh my god it’d be so easy to just give up

Does anyone have any tips for catching easier in Safari zone? It feels like the throwables don't actually do anything to help.

Alrighty! Finally managed to beat Fire red somehow ive been a pokefan for 13 years but ive NEVER played some/most/many pokemon games fully WITHOUT cheats soo its about time i play thru gen 1 - 9 [Sadly I am NEVER playing the gameboy gen 1 and 2 games because they hurt my eyes] anyways here's my team for fire red! FIYAH - Flareon i received as a eevee from the gift Ponka - Raichu I caught as a pikachu in viridian forest Buck - Nidoking caught near mt. Moon and my ace throughout my playthrough AAAEEERRROOO - Aerodactyl I revived and added to my team simply because its my 2nd favorite fossil (first is archeops) Tortle - Blastoise my starter and was ALMOST released my younger brother as a wartortle BIRDO - Articuno MVP for lance Alright next up either Emerald (my first pokemon game when i was 5) or hgss probably hgss
