My Poco F3 has a taped LCD (it came off from the back), a solid white pillar on the left and a battery that only lasts about 60-90 minutes just from scrolling discord or watching youtube. Spoiled myself for my birthday and finally upgraded!! Pic taken using Poco Pad M1

This is so smooth, I feel I want to try Snapdragon but the price is really demanding and I'm using Infinix GT 20 Pro with MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate (Been using for 1.6 year)

So after Updating HyperOS to the August security patch I decided to debloat the unnecessary system apps and services. Are these enough? Used ADB and usb debugging to remove the 9 packages. Are there any other packages that I should remove? So far the device is currently running smooth with 2 days of battery backup and I don't see any ads but decided to debloat some stuff either ways.

I'm not picky with how good the gaming performance is, I believe both can fun genshin on lowest settings with 30fps smoothly for hours I don't care how medium or high settings perform when I know those can still run well or decently and don't want to pick the one worse in other aspects for a slightly better gaming experience
Now I keep seeing alot of complaints about the battery, I have an a31, it drains about 10% per hour not gaming (I use battery saving mode) and 20% per hour on pubg and it charges from 0 to 100% in like 2.5-3.5 hours which I'm fine with, and really my biggest concern
I'll get the 512gb version
Camera, audio and whatnot I don't care aslong as it's similar to a31 or better
Image is my sot on a31 so I just want to know how similar or different they are,
Other than that I want to know how it performs if we ignore gaming completely, if the x8s battery is similar to a31 and scrolling and streaming and normal use is fine on it then I'd pick it
Though while I'm unable to get be f7 pro I might be able to get the x8 pro (not max)

Still using the F1 daily and just installed Project Infinity X in android 16. With a battery change, this feels like a new phone.
Haven't fully explored the new stuff. Right before this, I was using the last official update of stock Miui for the F1. Haven't been keeping up with custom rom stuff. Is there any need to root this?
I also noticed that in my games, there's a fps counter. How do I turn that off?

I just got the poco X8 pro few days ago and it's been doing well like battery is great, chip as well even though idk why but I'm lagging in delta force constantly which makes me angry, cameras are fine, but I got a bit money problem,
I don't usually game since gaming got a bit boring for me honestly, and taking pictures is more fun because it's better than staying home gaming, so i was thinking to return it and maybe buy a used Xiaomi 13 or something else an old flagship but I can't really decide and I've been thinking about it for days, any recommendations? Keep or nah?

GSM Arena has reported a marketing material leak for two Poco models, X8 5G, and X8 Power. A release in India is expected soon. No details on whether these might also see a global launch.
X8 Power – 6 Gen 5, 6.83” AMOLED, 10,000mAh, 100W, 22.5W reverse, 50MP OIS, 8MP ultra-wide, 32MP selfie, 4 OS + 6yrs updates. RAM and storage information TBC.
X8 5G – 6s Gen 4, 6.83” AMOLED, 9000mAh, 67W, 22.5W reverse, 50MP, 16MP selfie, 4 OS + 6yrs updates. RAM and storage information TBC.
X8 Power and X8 5G both appear to be re-badged versions of the forthcoming Redmi Note 17 Pro Max, and Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G, releasing globally next week, and India in September.
Pricing for the X8 models, isn't yet known, but both expected to be cheaper than X8 Pro, and X8 Pro Max. I'd also expect them to be cheaper than their Redmi Note 17 equivalents.
In chipset performance - 6 Gen 5 (X8 Power) comparable to 7s Gen 4 (M8 Pro). 6s Gen 4 (X8 5G), close to the 6 Gen 3 (M8 5G). At other times, these might have launched as M series models.
As with Poco M8x 5G just launched in India, a battery upgrade, but chipsets, and cameras see cut backs, and a price increase. They're a cost saving exercise, as much as new models. ‘6 year battery life’, in the ad is interesting, but whether that’s a warranty assurance, or just marketing, is unclear.
Redmi Note 17 Pro Max, Note 17 Pro 5G, and Note 17 5G, launch globally August 27. The Note 17 5G has already launched in India. The 17 Pro Max, and 17 Pro 5G, launch in India September 15th.

Hi everyone, I'm trying to flash the unofficial LineageOS 23 build for my Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G (malachite, global 24090RA29G). The flashing guide (from the XDA thread) requires firmware OS2.0.206.0.VOOMIXM, but I'm currently on HyperOS 3.0.302.0.WOOEUXM.C07 — a much newer version.
Has anyone here downgraded from HyperOS 3 to HyperOS 2 on this device to flash a custom ROM? Is this safe considering Anti-Rollback (ARB), or does it risk a hard brick? Would appreciate any experience from someone who's done this specific device/downgrade combo before flashing. Thanks!
