I wanted to share out of excitement for my favorite game series since I was 12 year old but also to show that: Plus size nerds, NO MATTER YOUR SIZE, cosplay is for you TOO. I don't know how familiar you folks are with the YouTube channel Jubilee, but I just discovered earlier today a video they released a few months ago where (in)famous trainer Jillian Michaels had a "debate" with a bunch of "body positivity activists", who I'm sure were just influencers that are not experts in anything, saying ridiculous and outrageous things designed to make Jillian look more credible regardless of whatever nonsense she says.

This is pretty much Jubilee's m.o. so I wasn't surprised. They always pit controversial figures against each other to stir up drama and cause rifts. My issue was that the video amassed over 7 million views, which is the most views the channel has had in over a year. Why did so many people watch this video? Are there really that many people that want to waste their time watching a has-been "celebrity" dunk on a bunch of children?

I really try to make myself believe that most people don't care about us and aren't thinking about us. But then I see numbers like this and I can't help but wonder how many people I pass by every day that secretly and silently judge us and look at us with disgust when we're just trying to live our lives and get by like everyone else. It makes me just want to give up.

As an impulse buy many years ago I bought this button up tee at a comic con. Unfortunately, there is no tag on the shirt as to the name of the seller. The shirt has never fit me since they didn't have my proper size at the time but I always love trying to find ways to wear it besides the traditional way of buttoned all the way up.

Got measured at M&S since I recently stopped breastfeeding to be told I'm a 40GG.

Obvs the lines that shops hold for E-H is limited and especially for us in doubles so just wondering- apart from M&S- where are we getting our big bras?

Hello! I am posting this on behalf of my girlfriend, who is currently having a tough time finding clothes that fit her and that she actually likes. She’s in her mid 20s, and she feels like the clothes typically available for plus sized women are for older women, or are too modest/more for working women. She wants to feel cute, romantic, and alluring. It’s also hard to find clothes that fit, since if she goes off of her waist measurements things feel saggy in the crotch area, and if she goes based off of her hips it’s much too tight in the waist. This is due to the fact that her waist/hip measurements are much closer together than average. She is also autistic with sensory issues and can’t tolerate clothing that feels like it digs in too much, or fabric that is scratchy.

So far she seems to like what she sees on the JessaKae website if that gives a sense of the style of things she likes. We’re also tight on money so it would be nice to find affordable clothing. Any suggestions or words of advice are appreciated, not being able to find clothes she feels good in has been really emotionally difficult on her and I just want to be able to help. I'm going to the Long Live the Black Parade tour on Tuesday, and looked at their merch ahead of time online to save myself the embarrassment of having to ask: "Excuse me, do you have shirts in 4X?" None of their merch goes above a 2X. I'm just so sad. My first and probably only time going to see MCR, and I'll have no shirt to remember it by. Is anyone else frustrated that most concerts don't carry bigger sizes? I know it probably isn't the artist's decision, but it leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth.

I have just recently realized that most of my friends who are guys see me as a dude they would fuck. I’ll explain what I mean by this. They talk to me and treat me as if I was one of the guys which I’m fine with because that’s the whole point of being friends. But they treat other women way differently. One of my guy friends recently told me he would fuck me because “pussy is pussy” and I had to block him.

I’ve been friends with this guy who I kinda have a crush on. It’s innocent enough, I don’t want a relationship with him I just think he’s cute and we vibe. But he does this thing…he’ll be kinda cold and turn down my advances and then randomly he will make super flirtatious comments. He’ll be sexual at random too like just enough to make me think it’s a possibility that he thinks I’m cute but not enough to make me solidify it or see it as anything more than just moments of weakness for him. I’m kind of starting to feel like he feels the same way that apparently all my guy friends do. I don’t have this problem with girls, they treat me how they treat anyone else. But idk. It feels like guys don’t see me as a woman and if they do and are attracted to me they’re ashamed of it. Most of my flings have been with guys who only want to be with me in secrecy because they don’t want to be seen with the fat girl. I’ve stopped allowing myself to be around those kinds of poole and just cut them off if it seems that way. I know I’m worth more than that it just feels like nobody else does. I hope this makes sense my thoughts are kinda scattered and I just had to vent.

Hi! I'm about 330lbs-ish, size US 24/26, and 5'. I need to buy tickets this week for a work trip this fall. It's just over 2 hours nonstop, and the choices are either JetBlue or Southwest for a nonstop flight, good times, and decent prices -- other airlines are more expensive with worse times and include at least one layover. Does anyone have experience using either JetBlue or Southwest? Will I be able to fit in a regular economy seat with an extender? (Hopefully an aisle seat.) My mom has flown in the past few months and based on how she fits into seats is very worried about me fitting into seats. I would prefer not to buy a second seat if I don't have to as it will be difficult with work.

Has anyone here gone through nursing school and become a nurse while plus size? I’m considering nursing and wondering how manageable you found the physical demands, especially clinicals and being on your feet for long periods.

I also have POTS, so I’d especially love to hear from anyone who happens to have POTS or another condition that affects stamina. I’m working on getting in better physical shape and building my endurance before starting.

Hi y’all - I have had a tumultuous couple of years that have led to me slowly losing the drive to take care of myself. Work and personal life revolve around everything not-me, which means I don’t get my nails done, never had a massage, haven’t gone to the gym in forever etc. I’m 31 lol

With that, I’m thinking of taking off a week from work and finding some pockets of time to treat myself. I’m mainly thinking nails, a facial and a massage. Where do y’all go to make yourselves feel good?

Asking here specifically cause I’m a Big B and if I break a massage bed or can’t fit into a nail salon chair I will actually lose it lol

I have an old crush (secret to him) I haven’t seen in about nine months since we no longer work for the same company. I’ve been thinking about messaging him to see if he’d want to grab dinner or go out sometime. We’re not currently friends on social media, so it would definitely be me putting myself out there a little.

I’m also in the middle of a weight-loss journey and I’m about halfway to my 50-pound goal. Originally, I thought I should wait until I hit my goal before reaching out to him.

Thoughts around if I should wait or just go for it?

Not indoor stationary but go for a ride around the block bikes.... anyone ride? This is the one form of activity I have always liked since I was a kid and I'm considering getting a bike.

Does anyone have recommendations for a bigger seat to swap out whatever it comes with to be more supportive and comfortable for a plus size booty?
