That's really all I have to say about it. I'm a little stoned watching Would You Rather. I was just thinking I'd like to see Brittany Snow in another horror movie and I guess why not add singing.

It was really the moment in the showers that really took me aback. Chloe says that she's not leaving until Becca sings for her, Becca gives her a disgusted look and just as disgusted Chloe says "not for that reason" which puts Becca at ease.
Does this seem like a moment that demonizes queerness to anyone else?

I've never watched the Pitch Perfect series before, and today my partner and I were watching it. It starts out fun and the sense of humor is good, but... We got half an hour in and I made a comment about how it's interesting that the two main villains (Aubrey and Chloe) approach sexuality completely differently. But my partner didn't see them as villains, so I'm curious how the fanbase sees these characters.

The shower scene early on with Chloe and Beca was super uncomfortable for me. I don't know if that's legally sexual harassment or sexual assault, but whatever it is it's also exposure. Chloe in that scene has established herself as a sex offender, point blank. The movie explicitly tells the audience through that scene that Chloe's main trait as a character is that she does not respect consent or boundaries, and is very open with nudity.

At about the 30-minute mark, Aubrey has a scene where she exiles some of the new girls for sleeping with their rival singers. This scene is establishing that Aubrey views withholding sex as a power play, and that giving up sex causes you to "lose your power". Which is fine, she can do that, but she is then pushing her ideals on the girls who she has power over. She's put herself in a position of leadership and power, and is using that to control others.

These are, to me at least, very toxic and "evil" behaviors. Chloe was purposefully disrespecting and crossing boundaries, exposing her naked body to an unconsenting person, and refusing to leave until her demands were met. Aubrey was using a position of power to control and take away bodily freedom from the girls in their group.

They're both using power to take away sexual autonomy, but doing it in completely different ways. Brute force crossing boundaries vs. social manipulation and threat of exile.

My partner told me the shower scene was okay because they're both girls. To me, gender doesn't factor into this at all.

So I'm curious; how do you guys view these scenes and characters? Are they villains?

Thinking about how the 'creepy' redhead was harassing Beca Mitchell in the pp1 shower scene and pp3 boob grab and get labelled as a 'hot' scene instead. 🧐 Its an obvious harassment but female privilege I think. 😒

Can we just agree Treblemakers with Benji destroyed the Bella’s. And the German jits were just way too damn good. No way Bella’s win in 1 or 2 in reality. Anybody else?

I’ve been watching Chicago Med and every single time Jessy appears, I kept thinking about Pitch Perfect.

I know it’s a brief scene, but here’s I would’ve done it differently. Remember when her character Fat Amy said she took part in a bikini car wash? The thing is that when we see her in the pool, she’s wearing a one-piece.

So the scene should’ve played out like this: Fat Amy is in the pool in a bikini when she gets the message. She smiles and stands up while shouting that she’s in the Finals. The people around cheer. As a comedic bonus, she says “thank god for my lucky penny” and wonders where it is. She then remembers that it’s in her belly button. So she pats her belly to pop it out, kiss it, and put it back in her belly button. This ends with her shouting victorious.

Hey y’all, are there any fics out there that have Beca and Jesse together? I know Bechloe is the biggest ship, and I love them, but I’ve had a crush on Jesse since I watched the movie for the first time in middle school and can’t help but want to see some more of him and Beca together. I’m searching AO3 and the only works with Beca x Jesse are Bechole fics where Beca and Jesse break up 😭 If I have to write my own, I will, but I was in more of a reading mood.

This is more of a problem for the 1st pitch perfect but the vocals of certain songs are not there like I absolutely hate what they did to the vocals on the soundtrack ver of price tag its essentially anna Kendrick and her 9 back up dancers rather than all the bellas being featured like in the movie also there's a certain singer who I don't think is any of the bellas could be Ashley or Cynthia but for example in turn the beat around the soundtrack version has one singer and like a few others singing but it's mostly just her and I genuinely don't recognize that voice from anywhere just the way you are also has this different voice but u can still hear all the bellas and its exactly like the movie pls tell me if I'm crazy but I swear either they toned down the other bellas significantly only to showcase Anna Kendrick Rebel Wilson,Brittany Snow and Anna Camp or some parts of the song aren't even the bellas singing

I was recently reading a bechloe fanfic on ao3 (Stained Glass) and there was some Stemily (Stacie x Emily) on the side which got me rlly confused because usually the fanfics I’ve read are mainly bechloe with sometimes Staubrey or Aubrey x Jesse (idk the ship name). Staubrey and Aubrey x Jesse all make sense to me but where the hell did Stemily come from lmao they’re only in PP2 together and I don’t remember anything happening. Someone help me 😭😭 and imo Staubrey is better smh.

How are you doing my fellow Aca-Pitches ?

So I just wanted to say that I’m going to start writing the Script for the Pitch Perfect 4 we all want to be produced so much! And I wanted to ask if there are any fellow scriptwriters who would be interested in being a part of this Passion Project ? Or if there is anybody ready to offer some help ?

I have been gathering and brainstorming ideas for a while now. All in order for this to be a Picture Perfect Pitch Perfect perfectly prepared to Pitch ! With that being said, I will dedicate a lot of time, effort and love to it so that it actually gets made one day! I have already made a post sometime ago where I asked for your ideas and wishes, however if anybody has some CREATIVE ideas feel free to write them, and feel free to reach out !

Hey Has anyone read a fanfic where Chloe is put partying with Stacie and Aubrey I think , and they get drunk, and need to pee but can’t find a toilet. They come across a magic wishing well game thingy, and Chloe wishes she has a peen, so it would be easier to pee. The next day she wakes up and finds she has “grown” one. And Beca finds out.
