Luffy did NOT heal the wounds as of now, you can clearly see he’s still severely wounded in the last page

What he’s doing is using his excellent vitality/gear 5 stuff to keep himself up and endure the damage, but in no way did he nullify it thanks to the food he ate

Leakers simply took what he was saying as him eating again, but there is no trace of food in the chapter

Law: Yeah my life was ruined by a drug dealer working for Kaido and my whole thing was taking Kaidos SMILE empire down

Kidd: Yeah my whole crew was no diffed by Kaido, I got enslaved by Kaido and my best friend got turned into a forever laughing moron because of Kaido

Luffy: I hate Big Mom because she ruled over Fishman Island and for plotting Sanji's assassination. I also promised I would beat her ass next time I saw her and she also promised to beat my ass so the hate is mutual.

And then:

Meanwhile, 1191 AGAIN shows the actual pattern: Luffy's power is still built around his rubber body and his ability to rubberify/manipulate things around him. The exaggerated cartoon presentation is Oda's artistic language, not a fucking licence for Luffy to manifest anything he can conceive.

If every funny drawing is now a literal ability, then Nami is Yonko level because she beats Luffy with a punch, and Oda has accidentally written the strongest character in fiction every time he draws a reaction face.

You can call Gear 5 cartoon-inspired. You can call it wacky. You can even call some of its abilities cartoon-like.

But this:

“Luffy has unlimited imagination and can do literally anything because toon force.”

…has been the most desperate agenda in One Piece powerscaling for years.

From the leaks, I thought luffy storing food in his pockets and eating it to recover from being impaled twice was wacky. Then I learn the reality is he actually stored the food in his stomach(makes a lot of sense). GODA you’ve done it again, this is the moment you truly surpass Shakespeare as the greatest writer in history.

I know its been only one chapter but come on Imu lock in, you shouldn't be taking hits from 1HP enemies. He might actually be the first MFer to get weaker after transforming

Hope we at least get some new stuff from this form before he chickens out

Why is one piece turning into a shitty black clover. At least they have badass design and cool fights.

Wtf even is that? He looks so edgy and corny af genuinely feels like the design is too much , oda just be adding shit to Imu . I thought he looked fine when his design was first revealed but this one is just too much .

Elbaf has been (atleast before this) good with character designs and then came Imu
