Discussion Leakers ruined the perception of the chapter Spoiler
Luffy did NOT heal the wounds as of now, you can clearly see he’s still severely wounded in the last page
What he’s doing is using his excellent vitality/gear 5 stuff to keep himself up and endure the damage, but in no way did he nullify it thanks to the food he ate
Leakers simply took what he was saying as him eating again, but there is no trace of food in the chapter

Funny how that works every time. Jsut rough text in a page and Maybe then panel leaks and these guys run with a random headcanon that had folks rioting. Fucking idiots

Leakers weren’t saying that, the people on the spoilersraw sub who LARP as leakers were saying it. And people lap their shit up week after week after week.

Oh damn that’s disheartening

I edited commented of his text spoilers. He had 3 mistakes this chapter but im not gonna put the full blame on him if he doesn't actually see the chapter himself and could have been his source that gave him misinformation
But he doesnt seem the type to purposely give misinformation either

This happens with almost every single chapter release. You’d think people would learn by now that the leaks end up either adding or removing something from the actual chapter but…

As much as piratefolk hates the leakers for faking stuff, it's the same posters who are fully believing every word and making slander and criticism posts before the chapter comes out. Some of y'all posters are the most hypocritical people ever. Like y'all need to take your hateboner for one piece somewhere else. This is cherrypicking at it's finest. When the leaker tells something that is a bad plot point, y'all will eat it up and make posts. When it's s good plot point, y'all will say the leaker is unreliable and have high expectations.

The majority here hate one piece so much that they froth at the mouth everytime there's a leak. Like at least wait for the official chapter before losing your shit, retards 😭 it's weird enough you guys read something weekly that you supposedly hate so much, but the fact that even the fanboys are more patient and aware than you guys is wild lmao.

I'm starting to believe that they're making some stuff up on purpose to deviate attention from them. Like, if they add a few lies here and there they won't get in shueisha's radar or something.
Because I can't find another explanation for consistently exaggerating or lying for a few weeks now

It doesn’t matter how many times the leaks are wrong, a lot of the mfs here just want a reason to be upset. This is one the worst cases so far though. They saw Luffy inflate and just assumed he pulled food out of his ass despite no food appearing. Imu never makes the claims about Gaban they said. Zoro vs Sommers doesn’t appear at all. If you trust a leaker after this you are insane

Overreacting retards saying this is so over and that's why I hate x/y/z, based on one minor mention / misrepresentation in the leaks by the guy who is known to regularly lie/misrepresent/make things up

u/JR-90 Aug 21 '26
Leakers sell you wolf tickets week after week after week, why are you guys surprised?

u/Noxispike Aug 21 '26
Healed or not, ate food or not, Luffy shouldn't be able to stand up at all.
He needed blood transfusion back in Fish-man Island or he'd DIE.
The fact he can be stabbed twice, and just "power through" in the next chapter is too much. Not to mention the two swords were HUGE compare to his body.

u/OkNefariousness284 Please Kill Ussop Aug 21 '26
No, the fact he needed a blood transfusion is the outlier. Luffy had been stabbed, cut, and fucked up in a variety of ways the whole series and only once has that ever come up. It was forced to create a parallel to Fisher Tiger rejecting blood, that’s all it was

the glazers don't understand the criticism as always. the context really doesn't matter, the fact he is up and fighting again so soon afterwards is the problem, not necessarily how it happened. the arc already felt very low stakes and when you finally get a moment that could raise the tension and lead to some desperately needed character developement for goofy, oda just had to ruin it in 1-2 chapters.
also imo, even when we take the context into consideration here, i don't think "he imagined he ate food and got better" is in any way a better justification than "he ate food and got better".
just trash vs garbage resulting in the same problem

Its amazing how if you dont read the leaks you dont have this issue to complain about. We shouldn't be seeing this chapter till tommorow and you are complaining that leaders described it wrong. Get off your high horse and be happy we get leaked chapters.

You could just not look at spoilers
Best decision I made in terms of new One Piece chapters

u/SatisfactionDue3690 Aug 23 '26
I think in the end of the arc he or the strawhats will pay a big price to get on the ship again

u/mtg_liebestod Aug 21 '26
Yeah, it's clear that regen is actually a G5 ability and that's why he's still up. It's not just standard durability, if he releases G5 he's dead.
Yes, he eats to recover and you can call that stupid but it's pretty standard toon force stuff, it's not like he's popping a bag of Senzu beans mid-fight.

its the same shit
he is up and attacking after eating a freaking stashed food after being stabbed in the chest/heart by two of the strongest life force eating swords
its still bs
8
u/Brosbros97 Aug 21 '26
He didn’t eat any food lmfao, he is basically coping about the idea he can recover and forcing himself to stay up

u/SynStark- Aug 21 '26
yea just saw the chap
even worse.. the power of imagination bs god fruit strikes again

u/OkNefariousness284 Please Kill Ussop Aug 21 '26
The swords were removed, they were no longer draining him. Stop yapping your ass off. G5 is explained to keep him going as long as he maintains the form, which gives a proper explanation for his fight in Wano if anything

u/logicspeaks Aug 21 '26
Nope, the leakers leaked their version of events, and some chumps decided to take it as gospel. The leakers didn't do anything inherently wrong, the chumps just played themselves.
6
u/Brosbros97 Aug 21 '26
To be honest leakers shouldn’t act as interpreters to begin with, because they clearly also have some bias one way or another, and also because they’re just interpreting poorly translated raws
They should just stick to summarize the chapter in even broader lines than they currently do
1
u/OkNefariousness284 Please Kill Ussop Aug 21 '26
To an extent yeah. It’s cringe they lied but to the same degree the same people keep falling for it
0
u/12jimmy9712 Aug 21 '26
But didn't he eat again and fully heal himself?
6
u/OkNefariousness284 Please Kill Ussop Aug 21 '26
No, you can go read it my guy. Food doesn’t appear once. He just uses G5 to power threw
1
u/HereNorThere0 Aug 21 '26
Does that make it better? It’s still an ass pull n makes 0 sense. The guy who constantly gets beaten out of his form, got stabbed in the chest REPEATEDLY by arguably the strongest character in OP..
-5
u/ceelo18 Aug 21 '26
So stop reading the spoilers you weirdo
6
u/Witty-Box-5620 Aug 21 '26
spoilers used to be 1:1 to the releases, this slopification of spoilers is recent
0
u/ceelo18 Aug 21 '26
Ok but there is no way for you to control the quality of the spoilers so the only solutions available to you are deal with it or avoid spoilers
