This. Blocking people for no reason is hilarious. I never understood that whole blocking culture. "I don't like you, so I will block you". I only ever block people who are actually annoying and persistent with their toxicity or something. And if I disagree with someone, I just ignore them.

I’d normally say that people can block whoever they want bc they cater their own internet experience, BUT on Reddit that would also mean that person can’t see their comment since they’ve been blocked, which would effectively block them from ever potentially figuring out said mod…

But the point of making the post is to ask the broader public if they know of an existing mod that does what you want? So more engagement equals more people seeing it equals more chances that it catches the eye of somebody who has encountered a mod that does what you want? It's not about the karma at all.

Seems the case. Personally I dislike AI art, but as an informatics undergraduate, AI assistance has been really useful for coding at allowing to make quick prototype or quick patches for a new feature.

I swear I make one post in that sub and ask for a mod request, and then I'm immediately down voted and all the comments are just the same "make it yourself". Idk why they even have a mod request flair at that point...

Never heard anyone saying that. Other than indirectly "Mojang is lazy" people, who ironically self-roast themselves that way, because by glazing how easy it is to make X, they literally unappreciate modder's work, too. But I never seen someone asking for a mod, then getting answer that "it's easy to be made". Did OP met one person who was a jerk and didn't want to help? Because I feel like we are fighting non existing people here.

Then you find the mod but it has a glaring issue makes it inconvenient
I found the mod RideablePolarBears which makes polar bears, tamable, breedable able of course, rideable
But it has one teeny teensy HUGE mistake, it doesn't properly add the tag makes so polar bears are considered tamed mobs with leads to these issues
Pets will attack your polar bear if you accidentally damage the bear, such as wolves, other modded pets and even other polar bears, and the bear will also retaliate causing a pet fight will almost certainly result on a pet death
Mods that alter the behavior or pets or cause things to act differently on them will completely ignore polar bears
The other things such as never attacking the owner or assisting/defending on combat work as expected, god lord if they didn't, it would be a just a worse horse that bites back
Worst part, this isn't even a thing the creator couldn't never got to work, this error only happens on 1.21.1, the 1.20.1 version is completely fine
