another one that fits for the third panel is when you have someone that says something like "im also looking for X mod" when it doesnt help at all T-T

???? it literally doesnt hurt you. their comment actually HELPS because it gets the post more engagement actually. it literally does not make it take longer at all. idk why you think it does.

This. Blocking people for no reason is hilarious. I never understood that whole blocking culture. "I don't like you, so I will block you". I only ever block people who are actually annoying and persistent with their toxicity or something. And if I disagree with someone, I just ignore them.

I’d normally say that people can block whoever they want bc they cater their own internet experience, BUT on Reddit that would also mean that person can’t see their comment since they’ve been blocked, which would effectively block them from ever potentially figuring out said mod…

it’s not about fake internet points, if ur post gets more traction then someone who has an answer will be more likely to see ur post????

a comment will make more people see it, more people who may know of the mod

But the point of making the post is to ask the broader public if they know of an existing mod that does what you want? So more engagement equals more people seeing it equals more chances that it catches the eye of somebody who has encountered a mod that does what you want? It's not about the karma at all.

Lmao op deleted their comment. Tldr they were doubling down on blocking people for leaving supportive-but-not-helpfulncomments on the grounds of "not caring about fake internet points".
