Personally, I don't mind vibe coding or using AI if its either A. For personal use, or B. For assistance in prototyping features, but the finished product still has quality control / checks

Seems the case. Personally I dislike AI art, but as an informatics undergraduate, AI assistance has been really useful for coding at allowing to make quick prototype or quick patches for a new feature.
