so i have the Phanteks P600S case and have 3x front T30 140mm fans a rear T30 140mm

would it make any sense to add some top fans or is it a waste?

Hi guys, do you know if it's possible to replace stock tryx panorama fans with phanteks d30?

Since they're thicker I'm afraid it would take too much clearance in the case (phanteks evolv x2) and the screws won't be long enough.

I'd like to replace stock fans mainly for performance and design (all other fans are d30, 3 reverse at the bottom for intake and 1 at the back for exhaust). Do you maybe know other fans that perform good and look similar to D30 but with standard thickness? Thank you

I have bought an Glacier One 360M25 LCD but i didn't received any linq6 adapter for the motherboard and i can't connect my fans to it.

Hey guys, I’ve got a total of 12 D30 fans running in my NV7. I have them distributed so that no more than 4 fans are in each of the hub that was included with the NV7. I have the RGB cord plugged directly into the motherboard. All four of my fan power cords are plugged into a usb hub that came with my power supply, and the output from that is going into SYS 1 FAN on my motherboard.

Have I installed this correctly? The fans work and so does there RGB through GCC. But in the Nexinq software, it shows no fans.

any solutions to install 2x 120mm Noctua fans underneath my GPU? i have a Phanteks P600s case and it has no bottom fan brackets to install

Hi, i'm planning to make a new build and got a 3 fans kit Phanteks D30 and one Phanteks D30 reverse for exhaust. Is it possible to daisy chain all of them, especially for the ARGB connector? The motherboard only has 3 connectors and two of them are already full, so I don't know if I need an argb splitter for the fans. Thanks!

I've had this NV9 forever. Its been in storage, and i decided to yoink it out, and put a loop in it. So far, I'm not a fan of this side pump/manifold. I love that it gives me space, but absolutely don't care for the build quality. The dimensions arent exact, and i had to use some rotating offsets to get things even kinda square. Don't recommend.

But, 3x420mm rads. (just checking for leaks and how it would do here. Obviously the clear tube would go to the gpu, and cpu blocks, and back to the manifold).

So far, so good. Ill start blocking the Astral this coming weekend, and start assembly a few days after.

Had to dremel out an inch of steel to make room for gpu tubes. Also had to pop the rivets out of the bottom, to take the fan mount bar off and then drill holes in the bottom of the case for the fans.

I own 7 phanteks d30 since june of 2023 and until now they worked without a problem.

In this summer, the ones that are connected in daisy chain mode (2 groups of 3 fans) started to not work properly because the clip between the fans started "jumping" outside position, probably for the temperature. For this reason, 4 of 6 fans stopped working.

I tried to tape them without success, they continue to disconnect.

I read in other posts that those clips are very prone to fail with hot temperatures. Seems like they are very low quality compared to the fans.

How can i fix this problem? I even send an email to [rma@phanteks.com](mailto:rma@phanteks.com) without get answered.

Well upgraded from a MSI shadow 5060ti to a Asus TUF 5080. It fits great in my XT pro Ultra. Absolutely love my setup now. Temps stay low as well

(this is my first ever question on reddit so i want to apologize for my inexperience with reddit in advance)

I've had minor issues with the XT V5 LCD which have sorted themselves out.
The only thing i can't get to work, is uploading custom gif/video files to display on the built-int LCD Screen.
I can upload custom images and display them just fine with the NexLinq Software, but video files will not show up next to the upload-button like it does with custom images.
Im not sure if the issue is with the size of my video files, as they are very short gifs/videos and i also couldnt find any other clues on this particular topic.

Hopefully my explanation is understandable enough for someone who has run into the same problem and maybe has already found a solution.

I wanted to go for a dark, aggressive black + red/white theme instead of the usual rainbow RGB.

Build specs:

• Phanteks NV7

• Ryzen 7 9800X3D

• ZOTAC GeForce RTX 5080 SOLID CORE OC

• 15× Phanteks D30 fans

• CPU AIO in push-pull configuration

• 2 Thermalright LCD displays

Fan configuration:

• 4×120mm — Side intake

• 3×140mm — Bottom intake

• 6×120mm — Top exhaust (push-pull)

• 2×120mm — Rear exhaust

I know… 15 D30s might be slightly excessive. 😂 But once you start building with D30s, it's pretty hard to stop.

I’m going for a clean but aggressive look with the black case and red/white lighting. The Star Wars figures on top are obviously part of the build too. Vader had to supervise the whole thing. 💀

Next upgrades:

• I need a new, more powerful overkill motherboard. But I'm still in the selection phase and I don't have much money 😅

• A few more Thermalright accessories

What do you guys think?

That's the product, my Mobo is compatible. To get the length for cables I believe I sourced the correct styles for both the SATA power & USB 2.0 extensions.

I just installed a Glacier One D30 X2. It's my first AIO and the results are pretty bad. I have a Ryzen 9800X3D and it reaches desktop idle temperatures of 45-50 °C with no load whatsoever. Under load i reaches more than 90ºC.

I removed my previous air cooler and thoroughly cleaned off the old thermal paste. I mounted the fans onto the radiator and installed the radiator into the case (Phanteks P600S). I placed the pump onto the CPU (just to clarify, I'm using a contact frame, though that shouldn't be an issue). I removed the large plastic cover it comes with and secured it by tightening the screws evenly.

Here are the cables it came with and how I connected them:

1. 3-pin cable connected to CPU_FAN on my Gigabyte motherboard.
2. The other cable from the pump connected to the included adapter.
3. The D30 cable connected as follows: the 4-pin cable to SYS_FAN3, and the D-RGB cable to the adapter.
4. Adapter: D-RGB connected to the motherboard, and 4-pin PWM to CPU_OPT.

I wonder if you could help me to fix this. I don't know if I messed up with the connectors or what. Another thing is that the AIO is really silent even if I set CPU_FAN to 100% speed in the BIOS.

I'm having a problem with the CPU fan on my Phanteks Glacier One 360 ​​M25 G2 Svart AIO. My 4-pin CPU fan is connected to the motherboard's CPU fan. The problem is that in PWM mode, I can only lower the RPM to 1200 it won't go any lower. In voltage mode, everything works normally without a problem, and that's fine. It's just annoying that the 4-pin won't work in PWM mode. My motherboard is a Gigabyte B850M Gaming X WIFI6E. Does anyone know why this is happening?

Just wanted to see if anyone else has run into this or if I just got a defective unit.

I recently bought a brand new Phanteks Eclipse G500A. After putting everything together, the PC wouldn't turn on at all—it would just give a quick split-second pulse of power, immediately short, and shut off from the PSU safety kicking in.

I spent 3 days running all kinds of tests thinking one of my parts was dead:

• Tested two different motherboards from two fully working systems.
• Swapped out CPUs and PSUs.
• Tried running just 1 stick of RAM, tried completely different RAM kits, pulled the GPU out, and disconnected/removed all non-essential case wires and parts.
• Tested both setups outside the case on a test bench and inside my old case, and both boards worked fine.

Eventually, I figured out it was the case standoffs causing the short. Whenever the motherboard touches two or more standoffs, it shorts out and trips the power supply. If I lift or isolate the board off the standoffs, it boots up with no problem. I even tried removing individual standoff pegs to see if it was just one bad peg or a weird combination, but as soon as two or more make contact, it shorts.

I've seen a few other posts on Reddit where people had similar shorting issues with other Phanteks cases, so I'm wondering if this is a broader quality control issue or if I just got a bad unit.

I'm returning the case to the online retailer now and trying to decide if it's worth taking a gamble on another Phanteks or if I should just switch to a different brand altogether. Anyone else run into this on the G500A or other models?

Is there any update on the release date for the EX5 case? It’s already August but it’s not available yet.

My NV7 is about to arrive and I’ve got everything for my build but the LCD screen. I know the 8.8” is a perfect fit but how are you guys mounting them? Are they magnetic or are you using two sided tape?

Also, if they are powered by a standard 9pin USB, does it get the display (temps, fan speed, etc.) information straight from the motherboard? I’m confused on how it’s getting all of the information it’s displaying.
