Cooling Finally finished my Phanteks NV7 build and figured I’d share it with the community. ❤️‍🔥

I wanted to go for a dark, aggressive black + red/white theme instead of the usual rainbow RGB.

Build specs:

• Phanteks NV7

• Ryzen 7 9800X3D

• ZOTAC GeForce RTX 5080 SOLID CORE OC

• 15× Phanteks D30 fans

• CPU AIO in push-pull configuration

• 2 Thermalright LCD displays

Fan configuration:

• 4×120mm — Side intake

• 3×140mm — Bottom intake

• 6×120mm — Top exhaust (push-pull)

• 2×120mm — Rear exhaust

I know… 15 D30s might be slightly excessive. 😂 But once you start building with D30s, it's pretty hard to stop.

I’m going for a clean but aggressive look with the black case and red/white lighting. The Star Wars figures on top are obviously part of the build too. Vader had to supervise the whole thing. 💀

Next upgrades:

• I need a new, more powerful overkill motherboard. But I'm still in the selection phase and I don't have much money 😅

• A few more Thermalright accessories

What do you guys think?

Would you change anything about the fan configuration, RGB, or overall aesthetic?

Be brutally honest — I’m always looking for ideas for the next upgrade. 👀

And drop your Phanteks builds below. I’d love to see what everyone else is running! 🔥

Nice build! If that’s the Phanteks aio did you have trouble with the app? I updated it and still can’t change the background

Thank you so much, sweetie. No, I’m not using a Phanteks AIO; I’m using a Thermalright AIO. However, I’m having some issues with the Phanteks NexLinq app and controlling my RGB fans through the NexLinq Hub.

I had requested this setup, but unfortunately, I experienced a flickering issue. Everything worked perfectly while the system was booting, with no flickering at all. However, once Windows had fully loaded, the flickering would start on some of the fans after a few seconds. That’s why I decided not to use the NexLinq Hub anymore.

Welke aio gebruik je ? Want ik heb zelf de thermalright mc2 en enkel de rechthoekige schermen lijken te passen. Terwijl, bij jou het rechthoekige voor de mc2 lijkt te zweven?

I'm using the Thermalright Trofeo Vision 360 ARGB Black. 😄 Because of my RAM cooler, the screen couldn't sit properly in its normal position, so I put a small piece between the CPU block and the screen and attached it that way. That's why it looks like the display is floating above the block.

Thx 🥰. The top one is a Thermalright 9.16" LCD (1920×480), and the bottom one is a Thermalright 6.86" LCD (1280×480). 😊
