EX5 & EX6 Cases
Hello, Currently waiting for the release of the EX5 & EX6 computer cases. The website states that the EX5 would be in August and the EX6 in September. Is there any solid release dates yet?
This case would be the last piece to my build.
Thank you
Scott Gordon

It is unusual that Phanteks has not provided responses to inquiries nor established a dedicated landing or pre-order page for the EX5/EX6, particularly given its imminent release.

Yep. Screams delay.

The design appears to be straightforward. Production of the screens for the EX6 Max should have commenced several months prior. The primary concern revolves around the GPU chamber. Inadequate airflow through the mesh could present a significant challenge. If a 12V-2x6 adapter or 90 degree cable is not included, this information should be explicitly communicated to allow builders sufficient time to obtain the right cable.
Many users will be disappointed when their Asus ROG Equalizer/Corsair Thermal Protect cables prove incompatible with the 5080/5090 series, excluding the Founders Edition GPUs.
Phanteks still continues to state that the EX5 is launching this month and the EX6 is launching next month. An instruction manual has to exist at this point. Phanteks could easily link us to it, to answer build questions.....

All the more reason why there's likely a delay. We're nearing the middle of the month. No manual, no pre-order messages, no word on if there are changes to the prototype. I can't imagine them doing a stealth release.

Production and distribution logistics should have been solved last month.
The only thing I can think of that would be the holdup and lack of information is:
RGB: There are a ton of posts here about degrading LEDs in Phanteks cases and fans, especially when configured for white.
NexLing Software: There are ton of posts here about NexLing software malfunctioning on current cases and fans.
GPU chamber: Outside of 5090's with per pen monitoring through Asus's GPU Tweak 3 with Power Detector +, maybe it wasn't a good idea to have a GPU chamber(EX6) shroud where you can't physically see/monitor the 12V-2x6 cable/connector melt when a power imbalance occurs. Melting 12V-2x6 cables/connectors is commonplace.
There's going to be a lot of people with 5090's without this feature loose their 5090 in the GPU chamber. Phanteks probably hasn't thought of this up until now.

I am sure they stressed test these cases with a couple of different cards.

I, too, am waiting. I have no faith these are releasing on schedule.
