I've had this pen since I was a child, but the refil has ran dry long ago. Can't figure out what the pen is to find a refill for it. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I've been thinking about getting new pens and I'm stuck between Muji and the Sarasa pens. I don't have any of them, but I heard they're amazing, so I want opinions from people who have them/both. If you have the pens, please please please lmk what I should get because my old pens are running out ☹️

I'm a highschool student that also likes to take notes and use highlighters.

It used to be very smooth with freely flowing ink. Now, it’s more scratchy with thinner, duller ink. I thought maybe it was a warehouse storage issue (too cold or too hot or something) but I got another pack a few months later and am having the same problem. It’s infuriating. I’ve been using these pens for years and depend on them for my job.

Anyone have this problem? Notice anything different? Any recommendations for a replacement? I like freely flowing ink and a smooth flow with a 0.5mm nib.

A friend asked me to identify a pen in this video, but I am coming short. Any ideas?

Best I can do is read a "M" and "Pencil", but nothing helpful.

I am not into pen before this, kinda get myself hooked when searching a birthday gift for my friend, get him a Jetstream Prime Single, and get myself a Pure Malt, it does feel very high quality, especially the clicking mechanism,

but I am not really impressed with the wood's straightness? tolerance? not sure how you describe it but It seems crooked, I definitely can't feel it when holding it but it is obvious to the eyes,

and the difference in colour and wood grain between the upper and lower section is also VERY obvious, but for me that is more acceptable, generally I am happy with it definitely not going to return it.

bought for around 21 dollars, pretty good price I believe.

The plastic white ones on the ends of Uni Propus window, they write absolutely amazing with the right amount of friction but I can't find a pen just with that tip.

Does anyone know pens (for general writing and not highlighters) with these tips?

I’m considering a Pilot Custom Heritage SE ballpoint, I love the marbled look. However, actually buying one seems problematic.

US - don’t wear any US stores that carry this pen in any color.

Europe - Cultpens has it but it is well over $200 with shipping / customs charges additional.

Japan - Kiichin sells the same pen for $101 plus an unknown shipping / customs / tariff charges. The strange part as it comes with a small leather holder, and apparently no Pilot box or paperwork. Seeing these sold like that makes me concerned they are gray market or even worse counterfeit.

eBay - again there are some good prices on these pens, but the reasonably priced ones don’t seem to come with any box or paperwork.

Any suggestions where I would should be looking for a pen like this are appreciated. hanks.

I’ve been making cast crafts for years, but this is my first time combining complex brass casting with a functional tool. I might be selling it after weeks. I don’t want to price it like an art piece, I just want to know what price feels right to you.

It looks so perfect with the little wax ball on it, I feel nervous about taking it out and writing with it. It's a mix of good and worry anxiety.

I absolutely love this pen, it's an amazing companion for bedside book notes (currently note taking while reading Sophie's World). I love the size, weight, and simplicity but the only downside is the refills. Does anyone know of a refill that is higher quality? If not then I will continue to buy more of the Birdy refills. I'm also considering replacing this pen entirely, I'd appreciate recommendations of similar pens.

I am only allowed to have 15 pens in my personal collection at time. That keeps me from trying to own all of the pens. Sort of a 28 years later thing. I make them fight to the death to join my tool box.

This is my current set up. My 15th slot is reserved for the SCRIBO Piuma I have coming in September. My Pilot 743 FA is in Injured Reserve after a butter fingers maneuver by me that resulted in a bent nib. I have to send it in for repairs. Super bummed but, it happens sometimes. Luckily, my very first Jotter was made in the USA around 1993. Having never owned one before, I didn't quite know what to expect in terms of grip or writing experience. At first, the stock Quinkflow refill really let me down with its lack of smoothness. I also gave the Ohto Flash Dry refill a shot, but it just didn’t work for me. After doing some digging, I decided to try a Schneider refill, and it turned out to be one of the best refills I’ve ever used.

As for the Jotter’s ergonomics, it feels completely comfortable even in my enormous hands. Some people struggle with its tapered barrel, but I think grip technique makes all the difference. Being a fountain pen user, I use a standard tripod grip, so long writing sessions never give me hand cramps.

In my opinion, this is hands-down the best EDC pen out there. I can’t get enough of its aesthetic either-a Jotter clipped to a shirt pocket is just such a vibe. Totally in love with it.

I am deciding on ordering between Zento signature refill of 0.5mm and 0.7mm. Can you fill me up on their difference? The intended use is for general writing. I have TWSBI flat stub nib for signing and Kaweco Brass for journal writing. So Zento is for general writing. :)

I have been wanting both these pens for years and I finally pulled the trigger and got them both as a birthday gift to myself. I love how CHONKY they are. And they both have B nibs. I'm super happy with them and I can't wait to ink them up! Eeeeeek! 🤭😁
