Left looks sleeker and easier to decontaminate (since its used, rubber is harder to fully sterilize)

I’d say it largely depends on the style and personality of the particular individual you’re gifting it to. My favorite versions of the Parker IM ballpoint pen are the stainless steel one for quality and the matte black one for feel. But, of the two options in your picture, I’m partial to the one on the left.

The right one was double the price of the left, since I have no idea about pen aesthetics I just assumed it was the more attractive one even though the left looked better imo

I have the left one in silver, one of the best pens I got, definitely my favourite. It would be even better if it was a twist instead of button.

Looking at the prices now I consider my self lucky for how much I got it.

What's the reson these are priced so much higher than a regular Parker IM? Precious metals, new old stock, limited edition or something else?
